Pretty good place to get breakfast tacos At a reasonable price. Convenient drive thru and quick service I usually just get egg potatoes tacos and they're perfect every time I've never had anything else and I've always been content with my order. I got the Gyro with tator tots. It was a good size portion, but something was missing. The meat or sauce. Still good, but off. The tots were overcooked. But them breakfast tacos. Damn good!! Haha. And cheap. I recommend those. Will try the burgers next time I am in town. read more

These burgers are mouthgasmic!!!!!! If you come, get the spicy one. The meat alone is extremely flavorful. This local eatery serves up greasy old-fashioned hamburgers and fries with a bit of kick (if you get spicy). Known for their "Tornado Burgers," they nicely season their beef patties for a great tasting burger. Their fries are nothing special but also come dusted with a "cajun spice." Other than burgers they also serve up chicken strips, cheesesteak sandwiches, and gyros. The reason I mention it is because they serve some of the best fast-food gyros I have eaten next to going to an actual Mediterranean restaurant. Overall, the Tornado burger is great, the gyro even better. Prices will be between $8-$10 per meal. Side note: they serve burgers/meals spicy or non-spicy. For spice lovers, I recommend spicy as it's not spicy but adds a nice depth of flavor. read more

Ok you should skip the tacos! Go for the spicy burger! I love the place, its not in such a nice area but its ok! Seating is nice, however when I went inside area to get drinks it was freezing. When it comes to food, the spicy burger is amazing. I added fried eggs and avocado for $1 each. They forgot my avocado but when I asked for it, the guy gave me by the side. This is a new place that just recently opened. The exterior looks promising and we hope to try it tonight and then provide an updated review. Update - due to changes in dinner plans I did not eat but instead bought drive thru for the family. Have to admit the young lady at the window seemed a bit frustrated that I didnt know what to order but I'm used to like a #1 combo meal. Heck it was my first time so wanted easy choices. Anyhow somewhat reluctant I ordered just regular hamburgers and fries which totaled $11 (so definitely not the cheapest). The time was about 6pm and there were no other customers. Not sure if business will improve given its new. Anyhow my parents who ended up eating it said it was good .... but then again they hardly eat hamburgers much and think WhatABurger is good. The surprising thing though is that my 90 year grandma ate it and liked it and she hardly eats American fast food at all. So in conclusion there is no conclusion as I will have to try it for myself one day....stay tuned lol read more

I've been to Tornado burger four times since they opened, once for burgers and three times for breakfast. Breakfast: I ordered two chorizo and egg tacos, the first time it was 90% chorizo and 10% egg. The second time it was the total opposite. There should be a good 50/50 ratio with that type of taco, but maybe its just me. The tortillas seemed raw, and the beans taste like they came from a can. But on the plus side their habanero sauce is very good. Burgers: I order a basic tornado burger (spicy) combo, It had some noticeable heat, it says they have the spice ground into the meat but I think it was just sprinkled on when I ordered it. The fries were soggy even though they claim that there twice fried. All in all, I wouldn't bother with breakfast. Burgers are decent, fries could be better. I have yet to try their specialty burgers/cheesesteaks, update soon. read more

Their spicy burger gives you a unique kick that not many other places can compare with. They have an assortment of all types of food, mexican, american, and even gyro's if I remember correctly. Service was quick, and the food was good, and well priced. The only reason I do not give it a 5 of 5 is because of the variety of food, everything other than the burger, is standard. The *spicy burger is unique, and delicious, but could use more meat. So I'd recommend getting the double if you are there, and this would equal about a normal burger at a restaurant. I've had their spicy burger, fries and breakfast tacos. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by this place. I passed it by many times but decided to give it a try when I saw the Yelp reviews. The burger was so full of flavor and the fries were very fresh. I love Five Guys because of their fries. Tornado Taco's fries are just as good and their spicy burger blows Five Guys out of the water. Plus the cost was around $7 bucks for the combo! I built my own breakfast taco and tried the al pastor taco. They were both great! I'm looking forward to going back and trying the Philly cheesesteak or Gyro next. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable. read more

I've been here twice for lunch and once for breakfast, the latter just today. This is probably the best Mexican in the vicinity -- but nothing worth going out of your way for. My first meal, barbacoa tacos, was too dry (it takes a lot to dry out barbacoa!). My second, lunch, a torta, was better but not great. My breakfast burrito today, chorizo and eggs and mushrooms, was very good but not inspired, and a bit too salty. Berry Hill and Torchy's are better. Luchi and Joey's on Memorial is better. read more

Spectacular cheese burger. Do yourself a favor and eat it there. If you can't, before you drive away pop open the vents on the styrofoam container so the burger and the delicious fries don't steam. We frequent this place on Saturday morning and the tacos are fabulous! Today was the first time I came on a weekday morning. I had no idea what time they opened but I needed tacos for a group of teachers trying to make it to Christmas break. I was waiting in my car and the owner pulled up. They weren't open yet but he was beyond kind! He took my order and as I went to sit down outside he offered me a warm place to sit inside (remember they weren't even open yet). This is Tornado Taco, not Burger! I've only tried the steak and egg breakfast tacos on corn, and they are great! The serving sizes are very generous. You have the choice between numerous toppings - I always get grilled onions. The tacos are very tasty and filling. Great for weekend breakfasts. Tacos are pretty average nothing to brag about. My biggest issue with ordering from here is the inconsistency with ingredients. One day the bacon is great, that delicious thicker cut of bacon, the next it's pretty much that bacon you buy from the store that's already pre-cooked. The bean taco as well, classic part of my order.... But again the inconsistency of the ingredients one day it's black beans the next ,average refried red bean. Really long wait in the drive through line for two quesadillas. They were out of chicken so we ordered carnitas and steak. Steak was incredibly tough, so chewy it was inedible. Guacamole had HUGE chunks of jalapeños in it, so large that half of the guacamole was jalapeños. Won't return any time soon. read more
