We've been coming here for over 20 years. It has gone through good and bad times. One of the hottest spots to grab a taco at one time. A place you where you swear you would never return, because the order was always wrong. We were taking care of by friendly people that smiled. They delivered the order, and checked back on us. (Counter service). Tacos were amazing. I got the steak with grilled onions and pico ($3.79) Martin got one carnita and one picadillo, with his two toppings ($3.29 each) Everything was hot that was supposed to be, while the lettuce was cold. Good seasoning (I didn't even use the salsa with the pico on it). The carnitas needed salt. The building needs work, but an okay place to hang out, eat a taco, and people watch Longpoint. We will be back very soon. read more

The original owner has returned and is operating during the usual hours, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, seven days a week, to take over from last month. He mentioned that the cheque from the new owner didn't clear. I'm very pleased he's back. Excellent food at a great price. read more

Great spot for tacos! Nice cool, covered outside patio, although it looks out to Long Point Rd, it's nice little get away for tasty tacos I had the chicken tacos as well as bean and cheese The tomatillo sauce has a lot of flavor and a little bit of a kick- mild to light medium The habanero sauce..on point! Quite a kick but doesn't overpower the food Definitely worth coming back for the breakfast and the burger read more

The food is always amazing and fresh and the service is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the Cucumber Mint Limeade!

They were out of several things: Barbacoa and pastor, multiple salsas, and chips. They left off the toppings I ordered on my burrito although everything was right on the receipt. This is what their "queso" looked like. It was cold and somehow tasted worse than it looks. read more

What a gem! Food was good and prices are very reasonable. We had breakfast tacos and sandwiches that ranged from $4-4.50. I had a bacon breakfast sandwich that had grilled veggies and a fried egg with an aioli sauce. Very tasty and hearty for $4.50. We did the drive through and the gentleman that served us was super nice. The building is very dated and dingy looking, but for me, food quality is the most important factor. Plus, it's tacos! So I don't expect or demand a beautiful building. Highly recommended! read more

Has become my go-to breakfast taco crutch for when I'm too lazy in the morning. The drive thru is the main reason why I have come to rely upon them so much, love the convenience that it provides. Orders have always been accurate every time I come through. The tacos themselves are really well packed. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, when I try to eat more than like 1.5 of these chunkers. There's so many different fillings to choose from, multiple proteins, eggs regular y ala Mexicana, and a few different cheeses. Overall I love the variation available! The quality is consistent and the flavor is what you expect from your home cook abuela. They know the flavors and aren't trying to paint outside the lines when unnecessary. Will continue to come by! read more

We love our Mexican breakfast here they serve up Real scrumptious fluffy scrambled eggs breakfast tacos with eggs stuffed up almost all are overflowing the taco really well with that creamy mild tomatillo green sauce to pair with. Even breakfast burgers had it seasoned well of chorizo seasoning I should of got some pics to prove I guess the kids couldn't wait for the photos because they didn't want to waste anytime getting cold , I will follow up more later on. Hope they stay open long because they price was not too high being close to homemade . I recommend getting in sausage, bacon , ground beef and lotsa of potatoes in any tacos , can't judge on steaks or chicken, other pastor pork. Give this hole in the wall a try my new fav place to go to for breafast tacos and quesadillas. read more

This place has changed. Used to love these tacos but recently visited through drive thru. Took a really long time to take order even though I was only customer there. Ordered two chorizo and egg with cheese tacos. Came home to find two tacos with mostly egg some cheese and one slice of bacon. Bacon is not chorizo. Disappointing. Too many other options to try. read more

3.5 stars. Queso - weird. They added salsa in it and I prefer to have it plain cheese. Steak taco - hearty but pieces were hard to chew and overcooked. Bean and cheese - basic Barbacoa - it was juicy and flavorful. Sauces - excellent. I loved their spice level. read more

Not quite what I'm used to. We decided to order the queso today and it was extremely thin. We asked them to switch it out for guacamole, which I'm glad they did, because their guacamole is amazing. Slightly spicy, well-seasoned, and super fresh! Chips are fine. All of us loved our entree. I've been getting the picadillo for years but I may start getting the steak, because it rocks. Try it with the oaxaca cheese! Tortillas are still great and all the toppings are fresh. Rice and beans aren't what they used to be. They used to garnish their beans with cotija or something and it was a nice touch that I'm missing. They also don't put any veggies on their rice any more - again, another nice touch that really sealed the deal for me before. The rice was also tasting a bit old. My sister asked if our rice was crunchy or just hers. I told her it's not that it's undercooked, it's just that it was old. AC isn't as chilly as it used to be, but I still enjoyed my experience and was comfy. 7Taco is absolutely worth a try! Just wish they were open later... read more

(From October 2020) Texans love their breakfast tacos. This joint does them quite well. Probably some of the better ones I've had with the flavors and size! Not to mention the price and it's a convenient concept as any time is right for breakfast! I did 3 breakfast tacos with a jalapeño, chorizo, and beans added. Loved every one and it had me filled up for the remainder of my day. My only knock is they aren't open late. Close at 230 if I'm accurate. Wish they would have longer hours since it's tough to make it here in the morning at times. read more

Finally decided to give this place a try after driving by it so much. Aaaaaand ended up coming 3 times in 2 days. We were able to get some lunch items at breakfast. The steak meat is so tasty. Flavor was good and I really like that it's not strips. I've had it in my breakfast taco and in my torta. I didn't really care for the carnitas and the picadillo was really really salty. Like I feel like I was just eating saucy salt. So I'll be back just for the steak really. Also maybe to try the shrimp tacos and a burger. read more

Writing a review for 7Taco is frustrating. On one hand, I really love all the options for customizing the breakfast tacos. On the other hand, service is slow, accuracy of orders is hit or miss, and sometimes they run out of salsas. But I'll start with the good...the customization. Tacos start at $1.50 and you build from there. - Eggs: you can get scrambled eggs, Migas, or eggs a la Mexicana - Meat: they have all the usual meats (for 35 cents more) with an 80 cent upcharge for steak and bacon - Toppings: they have grilled onions, fried onions, mushrooms, refried beans, potatoes, grilled jalapeños (all for 35-50 cents more) - Cheese: four different choices including cheddar, Oaxaca, nacho cheese (lol), and queso fresco (all for 35-50 cents more) My personal favorite here is eggs a la mexicana, no meat, with potatoes, fried onions, refried beans, and Oaxaca cheese. I also love their mint limeade...it's super minty! They have 5 decent salsas...not my favorite, and inconsistent at times (in terms of flavor profile, not spice). As for the slow drive thru and inconsistent orders...maybe part of it is the price you have to pay for a more customizable menu. Regardless, I would recommend going early and only if you're in the area...it's not worth "driving across town." read more

The other reviews were right. This place has the greasiest beef. My tacos had to be soaked on a napkin and put in a new tortilla at home. Then it was awesome. Just extra work. May go back and try a breakfast taco but no more beef fajita. read more

We came here hoping for a quick weekday lunch and there were only two people in line in front of us. We were able to order and they easily customized a veggie taco for my friend. We also got a Barbacoa taco and some fried fish tacos. We thought we would get our food quickly, however, after 10-15 min were told we had about ten orders still ahead us. Finally about 25-30 min later we got our tacos and inhaled them so we could make it back to work. My friend said his veggie tacos were very filling and flavorful. We both enjoyed our fish tacos but thought the cabbage to fish ratio was a bit off making the taco somewhat bitter. The barbacoa was not authentic and I probably wouldn't order that again. Overall not bad but if you're looking for a quick lunch I would probably call ahead of time. read more

Big fan of this one! Love their breakfast tacos. Everything is made fresh to order, always hot with real ingredients. Hung out here while getting my tires fixed. Very welcoming employees, very good food. I ordered a taco and burrito thinking it would be Taco Bell size food. The burrito was massive, way too much food, but it was so good I ate it all. I regret nothing. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the detour. Ask to get your burrito "wet".
