They've got the style of a food truck (walk up to the window to order), but they also have a drive-thru and plenty of seating - covered patio with tables & bar seats, as well as an indoor eating area with a/c for those less than pleasant Texas summer days. The menu is pretty large - tacos, tortas, burritos and more! I'd say the food is authentic Mexican with real meat, delicious corn tortillas, and authentic flavors of street tacos. We ordered 2 of each of their meat tacos with the classic toppings (cilantro & onion) - chicken, barbacoa, carnitas, spicy beef, steak, and even tofu! They also gave us an ARRAY of sauces - red, green, avocado, pequin, and habanero. I was literally SHOCKED at how big the tacos were for only being $2 a taco. Bigger than palm size for sure! I could easily get full off 3 cause they're stuffed. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa, real moist delicious barbacoa meat done right. The exterior doesn't look like you'd find great food, but you'll be surprised. The food was priced very fairly and the customer service was top notch. We ordered the chips and queso, I ordered the build your own burrito and my husband ordered a few tacos. The burrito was a good size and was filled with lots of goodies. My only complaint would be there was more filler than meat; I was hoping for a little more steak. The queso was super warm and had good flavor too. My husband also loved his tacos. Upon high recommendation, I called in an order on Friday for Saturday morning pick up at 7:45. I got there at 7:42. I was there until after 8:00 before my order was ready to go. Of the 30 tacos ordered, 15 of them were supposed to be on corn tortillas. None were. Half were to be with chorizo as an ingredient but it couldn't be found among all the potatoes. OMG! Best tacos ever! I had the taco combo which came with 2 tacos, choice of rice and beans or potatoes with queso, and a drink. I chose the carnitas with cilantro, grilled onions, avocado and Oaxaca cheese on flour tortillas. The carnitas were so tasty and the tacos were overly stuffed. My wife started eating one of the tacos while I drove toward I-10. She didn't even want to wait until we got to our destination. Deservedly so, the fried fish almost burned her mouth, and I couldn't help but laughed. Having said that, I joined up with her when we stopped at a light. The tacos were consisted of fresh vegetables and battered fried shrimp and fish. They tasted pretty awesome with out the sauce that was packed on the side for us. I also loved the flour tortillas as well. We must have lucked out since there were other reviewers complaining about old and stale tortillas. In summary, I like this place enough to give it a 4-star rating. The tacos were great, and that alone made want to come back for more. I remember the tacos being better. Maybe it's just this time it's not as good. I ask for lots of cilantros on my 8 tacos and no onions. All the tacos with extra cilantros I wanted looked really sad. One day I was searching for a place to get food from that's close to where I work . I came across 7 taco and saw it had great reviews . I gave it a try and was not disappointed I went for the long point burrito ! I told my coworkers about it and ever since we get 7 taco once a week we either order it for pickup or DoorDash . This is my favorite taco place in Houston and one of my favorite restaurants in general. The quality is unparalleled from the tortillas to the house made salsas (love the Pequin and avocado) . Do yourself a favor and order the shrimp tacos or the beef quesadilla or heck, order anything on the menu. It's all great. I love that they are constantly trying out new exciting menu items but are still consistent with traditional favorites.
