As I waited, got a giggle out of their sign explaining they can't control the heat levels of the peppers, so order the spicy patties at your own risk! It didn't take long for my order to come up & I was on my way. By the time I got back to the office, both my fries & burger were still smokin hot! The fries had a tasty seasoning on the outside & they were good & crunchy. But O.M.to tha G that burger was tha BIZ-NESS!! Cut it in half & the perfect amount of fried egg yolk drizzled down. Bit into the burger & lawd all the flavors hit me! Buttery toasted bun, crunchy lettuce & onions, crispy bacon, grilled jalapenos, gooey cheese...YUMMO!!! And did I mention the price? You cannot beat the price for the amount of food you get. You'd pay the same amount elsewhere & get crappy food and poor service. This location has been renamed Tornado Taco, even though they are still serving up their famous burgers. From what I heard in passing, was for the area, the burger name was not getting as much traction, but with the tacos, they were bringing in more customers that could come for tacos the first time and possible try their burgers later. This location is close to I-10 and easy to access. I of course got their double double spicy. This place I feel owns In n out, and believe me I love me some in and out. Their burgers are made fresh and getting it with the jalapenos mixed into the meat is the only way to order it. They warn you that each spicy level can vary. I've had some with a little kick and some that were down right blazing. It just adds to the fun. I had their regular burger with fries and drink combo for $5.65 with tax. I liked the burger even though it was a little smaller than what I thought it should be. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato were good too. The bun was your average white hamburger bun. The fries looked good and were good. I am giving the overall meal a strong 3. It was good and I would come back for it. Also it was very economical. This location does have a small indoor room to eat the food in in case you don't want to sit outside. I am a big fan of the location in Stafford since I have been going there since it first opened. When I heard they opened a 2nd one in town, I had to try it out too, since it was closer to home. I finally come nearly a year later since I was passing by on a Sunday and remembered it would be a satisfying meal. When I pulled up, I could see it was busy with many cars. You order at the outside counter and they have a similar menu as the Stafford location, with exception that they have a lot of breakfast items, including brisket. The Stafford location has chicken strips and this one doesn't. A sign at the counter indicates their hours are from 7-3 everyday. I guess the area sometimes dictates how long you want to keep your business operating. They have a decent outside covered patio area, but during the summer, it's not very friendly. No fans in the ceilings and no chilled water misters. This is something they might consider adding in the future. Maybe they want to keep it divey because of the area, but there is limited indoor seating (with A/C) and on a busy day with all inside tables taken, many customers will probably get their food to go if it's too hot to sit outside. I had to sit outside on this visit. I had my typical order: Spicy Double Burger Combo, but this time I added bacon and cheese ($8.75). Interesting to note this location has cheddar cheese and Stafford doesn't. I enjoyed the burger, although they seemed to add a ton of mayo which threw off the taste. The meat at Tornado is usually cooked medium well since they are pretty thin patties. At least they use fresh ground beef. The French fries on this particular day did not come out steaming fresh, but then again, I didn't really come at a peak hour, like I typically do at the Stafford location. I am giving them 4 stars, although I wish I could do 3.5, based on my experience this day. read more

This place is pretty good. Tornado Taco's has a variety food menuto choose from. They have outdoor seating and also indoor seating. They were very quick, and the customer service was excellent! I ordered a torta the carnitas, which is shredded beef and the top bolillo bread was Crispy, unfortunately the bottom bread fell apart so I couldn't eat it with my hands so I had to eat it with the fork. I was getting my tires replaced next door at Discount Tires (btw great service there), and the wait was a bit long, being a weekend. We discovered this place on Yelp and walked over. Their burgers are the bomb! They are the first restaurant I have ever been to that offer a Spicy Patty option, and it is amazing. The patty is very flavorful and tastes real good when with a fried egg on top. The tacos were okay, in my opinion. They didn't taste any different from any other taco-truck. I used to live by this place and I legit woke up early to get tacos before work. My favorites are the fried shrimp taco. I also love their steak and chicken. They allow you to create your own tacos with fillings of your choice and that's amazing for picky eaters. I can't wait to be back in the neighborhood and visit again soon. read more

It's probably good as a one-off experience, but this won't become part of my routine by any means. I decided to try this place because my usual breakfast burrito place has their day off today. I ordered what I usually order, a burrito with egg, cheese, beans, potatos and avocado, but instead of charging me $5.49 for build your own custom burrito, they tried to charge me $9-something and I was like OMG. And the guy there was like, "Prices are going up," and so then he was like, it's expensive because you asked for the avocado on the side instead of inside the burrito, so then he made it without the avocado altogether which I was like WTF about, and he charged me $6 something. I don't know because he didn't give me a receipt. The burrito wasn't that great. It wasn't that great in general. It was way too greasy for my taste. It didn't taste bad. Great tortilla. I don't know. I just think it's shitty that I ordered a burrito out of all the cheapest ingredients, no meat, and they tried to f*ck me for the avocado. I don't know.
