    Baja Salad

Don't you love it when the restaurant you meet at is closed due to delinquent payments? Well that's what happened when I was meeting a friend at Backyard Grill, but it was closed. Thankfully Senor Burritos was at the other corner of the plaza, so we went in. I was immediately struck by how this place was busy and bustling with activity. After looking at the menu, and gauging what I could not eat on our paleo diet, I realized I could get the baj salad with steak, and just ask for no cheese, and put the sauce on the side. I'm so glad I bought this salad because it was HUGE. It came with a massively healthy amount of fresh lettuce and the steak was flavorful and plentiful. It easily dwarfed my friends' burrito bowl. It was funny when he made jealous glances at my salad. This salad was ridiculously good and I actually couldn't finish it... had to take some home (hooray for good leftovers). Loved to sit outside in the outdoor area - one of the few beautiful days before things get really hot. Service was great and look forward to trying the salad again!

First time coming here , as soon as I walked in they greeted me and shared with me there specials and gave me my time to order and look at the menu , next I ordered this amazing burrito with fajita and it they did everything fresh because the grill is kinda towards the front so you can see what they're doing , and the fajita has an amazing flavor too ! But I got mine with beans , rice , pico de gallo , cheese , avocado , cilantro , diced onions and green sauce ! Just truly amazing great flavor !

We came in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and was pretty dead. We didn't let that scare us off. The sweetest man greeted us that cooks in the back and who also is front counter. I asked for his name and I think it was Elanzo? He was so helpful and so amazing. He made the experience here that much better just because of his hospitality. He also makes the greatest green chili salsa I have had in so long. I ordered the chicken fajita plate and my friend ordered the beed burrito. After tasting the green chile sauce we had to get the chips and salsa to go with it. Since there wasn't anyone there we got everything out fresh. I loved the chicken Skillet and I also tried my friend's burrito. It is massive!!! We also noticed that the happy hour prices here are crazzzyyyy cheap! Mon-friday 4-7pm $3 wells and cheap margaritas!

Whenever I go to subway, I usually see this place on the corner and I do love burritos! So I figure I give this place a try for breakfast. Setting: It's on the corner block right close to where I live in a small shopping section near some hotels. The seating here are more for smaller groups, but they do have benches and tables you can put together for larger groups. They also have a small bar area for individual seating and some high tables you can sit. Food: I came in for their breakfast four times now and they are pretty similar, so I'm gonna describe them as a whole. The eggs were scrambled nicely and the bacon wasn't burned. It was actually pretty crispy and big! I was expecting hashbrowns, but ended up with small squared-shape potatoes instead. I did end up getting the hashbrowns third time around. It was still pretty good and seasoned right. The french toast was good, even though it was a little burnt. I just wish they had syrup. Overall: I have yet to try their lunch and dinner menus and am sure it's better than their breakfast. Maybe some day when I tire of Subway and want something heavy with carbs, like a burrito, then I'll order takeout for dinner here. One of the main reasons I only eat breakfast here is that there's not a Denny's near me and the food ain't bad! I also can't cook either

It was nice to have a great meal and hear the story of how this restaurant came from Miami to Houston. PINCHO was inspired by Otto's mother's famous kebabs (aka pinchos), because so many of his friends loved his mother's cooking. Their family took this family recipe and added a Latin twist...and a lot of sweat equity...and PINCHO was born. Since then we've been back a few times to enjoy their delicious burgers and bowls. Best Sliders in Houston - Fresh and Delicious Every Time!…read more I stopped by Chubbies Sliders at 14775 Memorial Dr in Houston's Energy Corridor, and wow, it exceeded all expectations! This spot is a gem for anyone craving perfect little burgers and more - fast-casual done right with a focus on quality. The standout for me is how everything is cooked to order and delivered hot and fresh - no soggy or lukewarm food here! I got the Combo 3 with a mix of sliders: the classic Chubbie (juicy beef patty, grilled onions, American cheese, and that addictive Chubbie sauce), the Rodeo Clown (with bacon, onion ring, and cheddar - pure indulgence), and the Firecracker for a spicy kick. Each one was perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with flavor on those soft buns. The crispy fries were spot-on - hot, golden, and nicely salted - and paired amazingly with the sliders. I also tried the house-breaded chicken tenders, which were crunchy outside and juicy inside. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the whole meal hit the spot without feeling heavy. The place is clean, the staff is super friendly and efficient (even during a busy lunch rush), and it's great for takeout or a quick bite. Mostly carry-out vibe with a few seats, but that's perfect for the fresh-made focus. Chubbies has quickly become my go-to for sliders in Houston. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try it - you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend!

I picked up lunch from this place during the workday after finding it on the map. Interesting…read moreconcept, as the only other slider "restaurant" that comes to mind is White Castle, to which I haven't been so cannot speak to how this compares. I placed an online order - it quoted my food to be ready in 15 minutes but I got the text that it was ready in just 7 minutes. Fast service! When you pull up, it's a bit hidden in the strip center so keep an eye out for the Chubbies sign or you might unknowingly drive past. The restaurant itself is very small with only a few tables for dining in, so I think it's meant to be more of a takeout place. My food was ready for me to pick up on the shelf to the right of the counter. I was able to get additional napkins and ketchup at the adjacent self-serve station. I got the Chubbie and Rodeo Clown sliders with a side of fries. Total came out to just over $11 after tax which is pretty reasonable for lunch. The Chubbie is their classic slider, patty with cheese and diced onions. The Rodeo Clown was a patty with cheese, bacon, and onion ring. These came with a side of their house Chubbie sauce for dipping. I did like the Rodeo Clown much more because of the add-ons for the same price as the Chubbie. Nonetheless, both sliders tasted good and with the side of fries, I was content. I will say that the real deal was a bit of a disappointment compared to the photos they have on their online menu. IRL, the sliders appeared smaller and flatter. The fries were standard straight cut fries served in a paper bag. I do wish that they would have at least put the fries in a cup or butcher paper inside the bag, because all the grease got soaked up in the paper bag and made for a bit of a mess. I hope that this place makes it, as the employee (owner?) working the counter when I came in seemed like a genuine guy who was happy to help. I'd love to try more of their sliders as well as the chicken tenders because I read that these are massive!

They had burgers, wings, salads, wraps, desserts and way more. There were about 20 of us in total and the customer service was amazing. A good chunk of us were indecisive on what wanted, but the cashier in the front was very kind and patient with all of us, even giving her own recommendations when we were torn between two or three options lol. Now... about the food, everything was GREAT! All of us rated our food and there was nothing less than a 7.5. I personally ordered their signature "Crazy Burger" - 10/10, easily. If you go, I highly recommend. The fries were great as well. Fresh and seasoned - 9/10. The shrimp wrap was good because the shrimp itself fills up the wrap very well and is fried/seasoned just right. I give it an 8/10. Also got wings (breaded) & they were also well fried & delish - 9.2 Everything was made when we ordered & served hot, which resulted in a slight wait but well worth it. The place was very comfortable and allowed all of us to sit in different sections. So glad we ended up JLB Eatery, it's definitely more on my "return to" list lol.

After checking out, it said my food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I was in the area and arrived within 10 minutes of placing my order. The restaurant is located in a strip center and there is plenty of shared parking. Perfect timing on arrival, because my food was freshly prepared out of the kitchen. The employee behind the counter was warm and friendly, and generously provided condiments and napkins as I took my food to-go. I ordered the 3 piece Fish & Chips (you can specify between 1-3 pieces). Here, they use swai fish and you can specify which type of breading you'd like - Cajun style (cornmeal) or London style (flour) - I went for the flour batter. Included on the side are fries, onion rings, toast, and a single hush puppy. The foam container was stuffed to the brim it couldn't even be shut. Not a bad thing since I know fried food like this needs to breathe in order to not get soggy. By the time I got to my office about 10 minutes later, my food was still piping hot. Among my whole platter of fried food, everything was still crispy as if I was eating it in the restaurant! It was so delicious - the fish fillets were battered well and had a good balance of fish and breading. The fries were seasoned nicely and the hush puppy, while only one, was a nice touch. I would definitely order this again, though would reconsider 3 pieces as I was stuffed and was ready for a nap by the time I finished. JLB has so many offerings I will definitely come back to try more, at any of their locations. I'm interested in the chicken, the burgers, and the sandwiches, and would totally order the fish again - Cajun style next time perhaps.
