Called in and ordered 1 barbacoa taco and 2 bacon and egg tacos. When I got there I was immediately greeted and they even took their time if it was my first time trying the place which it was. The barbacoa taco was so good, not too wet or too fatty it was just right. I will say they asked me if I liked salsa which I do but very little and I told him I mostly like mild salsa and so he put a little salsa (that he said was mild) on my barbacoa taco and let me tell you my mouth was on fire lol not on him at all I'm just very delicate when it comes to spicy food. Stopped in quick for a few tacos. Food was wonderful. Tacos were great, especially the beef. The tortillas were fresh and I assume homemade. I love getting to choose the condiments to put in the tacos. Best of all the service was amazing. The gentleman working there could not have been nicer and made me feel at home. Don't you love it when the restaurant you meet at is closed due to delinquent payments? Well that's what happened when I was meeting a friend at Backyard Grill, but it was closed. Thankfully Senor Burritos was at the other corner of the plaza, so we went in. I was immediately struck by how this place was busy and bustling with activity. After looking at the menu, and gauging what I could not eat on our paleo diet, I realized I could get the baj salad with steak, and just ask for no cheese, and put the sauce on the side. I'm so glad I bought this salad because it was HUGE. It came with a massively healthy amount of fresh lettuce and the steak was flavorful and plentiful. It easily dwarfed my friends' burrito bowl. It was funny when he made jealous glances at my salad. This salad was ridiculously good and I actually couldn't finish it... had to take some home (hooray for good leftovers). Loved to sit outside in the outdoor area - one of the few beautiful days before things get really hot. Service was great and look forward to trying the salad again! read more

I had super unpleasant experience with this place. I was in the restaurant on 11/14/25 and was impressed by the freshness and taste of their food and the friendly staff. I went there again on 11/15/25. Customers waited for 5 minutes until the waitress came out from the back to attend us. I ordered the same dish as last time with the same condiments as well. She told me the sour cream required additional charge. I pointed to the menu (written on the wall inside the restaurant) that sour cream is included. Another customer also pointed to the waitress. She heard it but appeared to be impatient. When I checked out, I questioned the charge as she still charged $2 dollars for the sour cream and was trying to hide it. Not happy with my findings, she said I also asked for additional spoon of black beans which required another $2. Some arguing and I gave up just paid with credit card and left. I did not tip because I was not happy. $2 is not what I cared. I cared about being treated with dishonesty and disrespect. However, I just let it go and forgot about it until today when I went through my credit card records and found out I was charged additional $7 (on top of the $2) while the receipt I kept clearly said the amount. I became outrageous with the blunt dishonesty. I also felt sad that their reputation and delicious food could be ruined by a single person's arrogance and dishonesty. So sad. read more

We came in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and was pretty dead. We didn't let that scare us off. The sweetest man greeted us that cooks in the back and who also is front counter. I asked for his name and I think it was Elanzo? He was so helpful and so amazing. He made the experience here that much better just because of his hospitality. He also makes the greatest green chili salsa I have had in so long. I ordered the chicken fajita plate and my friend ordered the beed burrito. After tasting the green chile sauce we had to get the chips and salsa to go with it. Since there wasn't anyone there we got everything out fresh. Whenever I go to subway, I usually see this place on the corner and I do love burritos! So I figure I give this place a try for breakfast. Setting: It's on the corner block right close to where I live in a small shopping section near some hotels. The seating here are more for smaller groups, but they do have benches and tables you can put together for larger groups. They also have a small bar area for individual seating and some high tables you can sit. Food: I came in for their breakfast four times now and they are pretty similar, so I'm gonna describe them as a whole. The eggs were scrambled nicely and the bacon wasn't burned. It was actually pretty crispy and big! I was expecting hashbrowns, but ended up with small squared-shape potatoes instead. I did end up getting the hashbrowns third time around. It was still pretty good and seasoned right. The french toast was good, even though it was a little burnt. I just wish they had syrup. Overall: I have yet to try their lunch and dinner menus and am sure it's better than their breakfast. Maybe some day when I tire of Subway and want something heavy with carbs, like a burrito, then I'll order takeout for dinner here. I highly recommend coming to eat here! It's a family owned and operated Restaurant. They serve more than burritos. They have nachos, chilaquiles, breakfast tacos, fajitas, and much more. I ordered the mixed fajitas plate for a good price (I'm not going to tell you because you need to see for yourself ) and it taste DELICIOUS! Very well seasoned fajitas! I am so happy I came to eat my dinner here. Oh and I ordered a Margarita. It was Perfect! The authentic corn tortillas were the cherry on top for me! This place is definitely a rare find. It is an authentic place tucked into some random shopping strip center. This place is commonly not crowded which makes me a little sad, but don't be scared away. The food is really fresh and delicious. It is one of our go-to spots for quick to-go meal. We commonly order an asada burrito and a quesadilla. They let you customize your burrito and make it fresh. I am a fan of most of the other Burrito Joints around, but I was pretty impressed with the variety offered here. Yes you can get a burrito, but there seems to be more that you can add to it than most places offer. But in addition they do a lot more than just burritos. Think of it like a full fledged Mexican restaurant served up burrito joint style! Oddly we all had burritos!! in our party of 4 we had 2 beef fajita burritos and 2 barbacoa burritos. Every liked the meats, and when I asked for the hot sauce the lady did not disappoint! WOW! Personally I am a fan of this place, and would like to venture out into other parts of their menu. They have all your standard options, tacos, burritos, salads, etc. One fun thing that you can do here is choose some of your toppings for these items! Chipotle style burrito, I got the chicken fajita. Actually really tasty burrito and reasonably priced. They've got the whole workup of different rices, beans, salsas, and etc to choose from. If you choose everything, then your burrito ends up huge! The restaurant itself was clean and orderly. A soccer game played on the TV in Spanish, tequilas lined the shelves on the back of the bar, and the restaurant workers conversed in Spanish. I like how this place is close to the Sheraton hotel. One of the BEST things about Houston is how close to authentic you can get to food originating in regions outside of the US. I think this restraunt is a really great example of that! read more
