The girl behind the counter was friendly and checked up on us to see if things were ok. In the vid the guy said get the garlic butter med spice which I did get for my first 2lbs. My husband got the same but he got Spicy. For our 2nd round we decided to go for the citrus twist. I got extra spicy. Definitely different tasting than your regular crawfish places but its that unique flavor that kept us wanting more. I will say that the best way to go is to get the Spicy. Extra spicy is not bad if you don't mind a lil kick. Definitely coming back for more and maybe try some different items from the menu since this time we were on a mission to try the crawfish.

Kind of a weird setup though, because the bartender told me I could only use the $20 gift card if I was paying with a gift card... which felt a bit off, but whatever. Overall, this place was just okay. I get the feeling the boils might be the star of the show here, so I'll probably come back to give those a try. I ordered the sampler with fried green tomatoes, boudin balls, and stuffed jalapeños. The flavors were there, but the boudin balls were a little too salty. For my main, I went with the etouffee and asked for both shrimp and crawfish. It was flavorful, with a solid dark roux that I liked. I sat at the bar, and Crystal was my server. She was super friendly but admitted it was her first time making the Bloody Orange Lemon Drop. I gave her a couple of pointers for the second round, and she nailed it - so props for that! In the end, the experience was just fine. Not bad, not amazing. I'll probably come back to try the boils, but for now, it's a solid 3 stars.

I ordered the fried catfish and a fried shrimp po'boy, and both hit the mark. The catfish was crisp, clean‑tasting, and well‑seasoned. The restaurant itself is clean, and the food comes out in a reasonable timeframe, even during busy lunch hours. You can tell this place is a weekday favorite -- people were constantly stopping in to grab lunch, and it's just as solid for a quick, tasty dinner. We were in the mood for seafood & in the area so decided to stop in. my partner & i never go out,…read morebc our baby is 7 weeks old. so night outs are important to us these days! the atmosphere was great & we ordered an appetizer which came out & was delicious. when it was time to order our food, my boyfriend ordered the seaholic fried rice & i order the grilled catfish . the waiter wrote it down & left & brought only my food out. 20 min goes by & still no fried rice. we ask if it's coming & the waiter said "she didn't hear him order it" & they were making it now. i get it if u can't hear cause it was loud with ppl drinking, but did it not occur to her that he was not eating then? he definitely told her his order cause if he didn't, he would've just not said anything, or told her exactly "i'm not eating," right?! & she never confirmed he wasn't eating so i guess only wrote down my order? if you only didn't hear him, why not double check or ask him to repeat himself? So I asked to speak to a manager bc by the time the rice came out, i was already done & our baby was getting fussy. I did not want to sit an extra 15 min while he ate because we had to get the baby to sleep soon. She got the manager & we asked for a discount on the rice bc we did not get to enjoy it together. That the only reason we go out in the first place anymore; to eat together! Date nights are non existent with a baby!! He said ok & then came back & only $1.39 was discounted... one dollar!! When the rice was almost $14. I did not want to argue, nor stay out any longer, so we paid & left. Anyways, I thought that was ridiculous so I had to write this review. We would've appreciated atleast 50% off on the rice. Again, your waiter did not confirm that he was / was not eating, did she zone out when he was ordering then? I'm confused. Plus, that was $50 basically down the drain in our eyes as new parents, which sucks. We are people who usually tip well & very kind to staff, as I was in the service industry for years, but i felt that was unacceptable as the manger. The food isn't bad, but the staff sucks. So do not recommend this place!

Very clean and well put together. We we were greeted promptly and told to choose our seat and that she would be right with us. Well.. that wasn't the case. The lady that greated us was the greeter the bartender the hostess and order taker and one young man as a server was all they had. Fast forward past the wait. Our food comes. Presentation was nice loved the wooden serving trays. Burgers were nice size as seen on social media. I had the Texan burger with chili and cheese and my wife had Kions classic with cheese. Burgers were great. Meat was grilled to perfection with the chard edges i like. But were a little salty as were the onion rings. It taste like the same seasoning is used for the burger fries and onion rings so it became a little overwhelming. Which was part of the reason fir the 3 star. The other reason was the wait (to order and check out) due to the lack of staff and the other is the price. $66 for 2 burgers, fries and onion rings which the portions aren't worth the $10 price. Will we return? Possibly but not any time soon. @Manager. First, condolences to you and your family . But I notice you are very defensive in your few responses to reviews. And im sure you're going to take offense to this comment also but it is not to offend you or your business but more-so to help. I noticed you haven't even taken the time to respond to those that have given you good to great reviews. Those people deserve your attention more. And even in the responses you have given, there are more professional ways of defending your establishment. Like thanking the person for patronizing your business whether they gave you a good or bad review (they spent their hard earned money). Then thanking them for taking the time to leave you a review (good or bad) and read reviews with the intent to understand not to respond. We don't know what's going on in your personal life when we enter your establishment just as you don't know what's going on in ours.. you expect us to repect your business upon entering as we expect a level of service and professionalism that makes us feel good about spending our money. If your loss was going to impact your service maybe inform people when they enter that service is going to be a little slow due to short staff. I see your favorite thing to say is "our prices are listed". Don't you think we know that? Don't you think we seen the price on the menu when we ordered? So obviously we're not complaining about the price but more so what we got for the price. Though we can see how much we're going to spend before ordering, we can not see what we're getting for what we're spending until it comes out. And that is what I was referring to.. price vs portion. And my review said some good things also and said we would possibly return.. but that now will not happen. Please just think before you respond to people and remember they have already given you their hard earned money before making reviews of your business good or bad.. so always lead with a "Thank You..."
