Paying with credit costs a bit more here - one of the reasons I was loyal to Chevron over the years before the gasoline price scam of recent is because I don't think they ever did that - in fact, I'd always get a discount for shopping at Safeway of about 20 cents... that would make my fillup today 30 cents more expensive than Chevron - and I doubt this has Techron... Techron is expensvie too... try buying a bottle at your local auto parts store... with direct injection fuel systems its all the more important too... Pumps were open with no wait. Receipt printer was out - so where was I going to scribble notes of madness? The gasoline thing is such a political scam - there is a push to go fully electric until the point our power grids can't support it... good thing I like Teslas.

Well at World Gas; you get a very large station they tend to always have a place to fill up and I have never had to wait. It's priced fine and I have not had an issue with the gas here. I don't ever use the credit cards at the pump it's a good way to get your credit card stolen or skimmed. Most good gas station have a seal on there Credit cards to show it's legit this one does not. Just be careful and pay inside. You will see at least 1 homeless person outside but they tend to be pretty chill and don't even hit me up for money they are just chilling. They might of seen my car and was like this guy doesn't have much more then me. The inside has junk food and drinks but it's not cheap. You are better off going elsewhere or like a 711 but they do the credit card fee here. The only reason I like this place is gas prices. How easy it is to get to from foothill. He's the best, super sweet, always asks how l am and how l've been, and makes me feel very safe as a young women, alone, at 5am. Last week, a threatening man was pacing outside the store, muttering to himself. I locked my car and ran inside to get my drink, ignoring the man talking to me. Checking out, I asked if Rick would watch through the window to make sure I get back to my car safely as the man was still pacing. Rick walked me to my car and stood watching as the man came up to my window with unclear intentions. I drove off with no issues, feeling more confident with Rick watching. I saw Rick again today, he told me that he ultimately called the police and the man was arrested. I am SO thankful for Rick for watching out for me and making sure I was safe, I don't know what could've happened if he wasn't. Thank you Rick, you're the best! Also, Jordan is always super nice here, the whole staff really- I love this gas station and it'll always be my go to because of these guys.

I've lived in Pleasanton since 1992, so I've been coming here since I was 14 years old. Today, I had a situation where I pumped about $51 into my truck. I had $50 on one card and just a small amount on my debit, leaving me short by literally one dollar. I gave the lady all the spare change I had in my pocket, but I was still just a bit short. When I asked if she could spot me the difference, she reacted with a loud "OMG" like it was the end of the world. Heaven forbid you help out a long-standing, local customer over a dollar. Most of the staff here have been grumpy and unprofessional over the years, with the exception of the brother-in-law. I wasn't even planning on Yelping them, but that lady was just downright rude. I've heard plenty of other long-time Pleasanton residents say the same thing about her lack of professionalism, and today I experienced it firsthand. Not a good look for a place that's been around for 35 years.

A man in a pickup truck was filling his tank, even though there were locks on the hoses. I don't know how he did it, but I do know that he spilled a lot of gasoline on the ground. I told the owner later that someone was stealing gasoline, but he told me that the locks don't work, and the man was not really stealing anything. Good to know. Maybe he should purchase another brand of lock (The owner I mean, not the customer.) When I tried to fill my tank, I had to go inside to give the nice manager my credit card. Then, I watched the pump carefully, because I did not want to spill gasoline like the truck driver. But the pump worked fine, since the owner had just removed the lock. This station is very run-down.The locks on the pumps should have been a clue. Or maybe the sign, "24 hour video surveillance." Don't even think about restrooms. If you are thinking about cleaning your windshield, think again. However, I did find a trash can along the side. I'm pretty sure this would not be considered a "full service" gas station. There were several scruffy young men milling around, asking customers for spare change. I gave one young man a chocolate bar. He seemed to appreciate it, and waved at me later when I drove away. As cheap as this station is, I'm not sure it's worth it. As I drove away, the spilled gasoline from the ground filled my car with gas fumes. I forgot to ask about loyalty card programs.
