75 Main - Ravioli Pomodoro - New American Near Me - Southampton, New York

If I could give this Resturant 0 stars I would. Absolute garbage and zero respect for customers. I had a reservation for 12 people on Saturday night. They called me three times to confirm we were coming and I confirmed each time. We all showed up at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservation and the matradee told us our table would be ready in 10 minutes. So, we went to the bar to grab drinks. 20 minutes went by and she said another 10 minutes, pointed to our table who had the check. Finally the group at our table paid and left and within 5 minutes a different family sat down. We went back to the manager at this point who said the owner said that family who had no reservation could be seated. So this fucking place gave up our table. It's now 8:20 and zero table availability is insight PLUS we have 6 hungry kids with us. This place is insanely disorganized, did nothing to make this right (should have at least comped our drinks) and instead left us infuriated. La Parmigana Resturant came to the rescue and was able to seat us at 8:30. I will NEVER come back to this Resturant and I hope anyone reading this will choose to eat elsewhere, where you are actually respected as a customer because even if you have a reservation it doesn't matter you won't be seated for an hour. read more

The food is always good when I go to 75 Main! Some of the staff are really friendly and sweet, Some need more training. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was cooked really well and the sauce had a good taste. The only thing that I would recommend, the servers can be a little more attentive to their guests and they all should be wearing gloves during this pandemic. The restaurant doesn't offer paper menus, so you should wipe down your menu with a Lysol wipe. All of the staff wear mask and wipe down the tables between each guest. read more

Should have heeded the advice of my fellow yelpers but I was hungry, pressed for time and this place had that "cool" look to it from the outside - at least atmosphere wise... unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered avocado toast - they have an interesting version so I figured I'd give it a try. Came with smashed avocado on sour dough toast, pico de Gallo and poached eggs. My ONE poached egg (one egg to three pieces of toast) was very under cooked, the avocado had turned black already, and my Mimosa was sour as if it was done with Tang and cheap Prosecco. On the bright side My girlfriend's salad (mixed greens) was half way decent. Although there is a lot of staff- service was not too attentive. Pricey for what it's worth but have to expect that in the Hamptons. read more

Went for the price fix menu and was absolutely thrilled. The food was top notch, served beautifully, and very good size portions (so many restaurants cut corners with a price fix and this was not the case at 75 Main) The Christmas decorations are just gorgeous. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Zach & staff! read more

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Do not recommend. I did NOT feel welcome here? Felt very uncomfortable and discriminated against. Have you ever been somewhere where they are annoyed of you and treat you like they are doing you a favor - when you are being kind, polite, and giving them business? I don't understand people who are auto-arrogant and pretentious to unassuming people just wanting to support their business? After the first interaction, I was like - wait, huh? So you're annoyed that I want to give you my hard earned money? Do you think you are better than me? I literally did nothing. Beware of the auto large group % charge when individual orders are put in (Otherwise understandable and I have no problem if wait staff is managing a large group order at a table - they deserve it then! But they basically just hustle'd us because we walked in as a group to the bar? Don't groups hang out all the time and then slowly order drinks by walking up to the bar? Aren't groups of friends at a bar what a bar atmosphere is? ). I LOVE exploring food scenes, and like to think I've experienced some of the best dining across the country and I have never experienced this kind of behavior. It was really sad and disappointing for someone who prides themself on being respectful, kind, and open to people of all backgrounds! Management and environments like this should be cancelled in 2021!!! Bar staff was annoyed to have guests at the half empty bar, Owner was actively ignoring guests and scoffing at requests for service. The wait staff is kind and does their best! However, based on their location, what seems to be a management "can't fail, arrogant, complacent attitude" and lack of competition - they don't seem to want to try. To top it all off: the indoor ambience is lack luster, not impressive and needs updating. I was shocked when I walked in to see a very average space lacking any of the finer details of a Michelin or otherwise recognized destination! Also the food and menu is average - nothing inventive. This restaurant and it's food/drinks are nothing special so I honestly don't even understand the arrogance. I will never be returning! read more

My go to place when in town. Never disappoints. Food and drinks are always good. And the service is always excellent!!

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant after trying it twice. Honestly I don't know why it appears to be a "hot spot" in Southampton because it has metiocre food with a pouting wait staff that wouldn't know a smile if it hit them. Let me explain: The first time I came to this restaurant was on Memorial Day. I sat with 3 others and one of our plates had a piece of plastic in it. In all fairness our waitress on this day was sweet as was the manager who felt bad about our experience and comped us free dessert and drinks. Still, plastic in our food!? I thought this was supposed to be the "bougie" Hamptons! Second time I patronized this restaurant was last week. We sat outside and had an extremely stand-offish waitress, with a personality more stale than bad bread. She appeared disinterested in serving us and a little smile and enthusiasm for her job would have been nice. She was like this with every table she served except for Ramona Singer (you know the b-list Bravo celebrity) a table to the left of us. Their iced coffee was also unlike anything else I've ever had and I mean that in a bad way. Simply put it had terrible sour flavor and was watery! It had me wishing I had Starbucks and I am NOT a Starbucks drinker. My recommendation is if you want mediocre food, with a surprise piece of plastic at the bottom of some plates (like the prize in a cereal box) and waitresses who appear half dead with no passion for their jobs, I recommend this restaurant. read more

On our 2nd day in Southampton, we decided to try 75 Main. We sat outside as it was a nice evening. Right at the start, our waiter was not friendly. We just started looking at the menu when he tells us 'are you ready to order as the kitchen is getting busy.' We ordered reluctantly. We ordered the Stanley Tucci's spaghetti alla Nerano, Chinese salad and kids burger. The food was not fresh. The spaghetti was beyond 'Al Dente' and even Stanley would be upset. The waiter was not attentive and didn't even know how to smile. I would not recommend this restaurant which is sad since it's in a good location with outdoor seating. read more

I will never go back to this establishment. I had the worst service and The worst meal of my life. I waited 20 minutes for a manager and was then told there was no manager there... on a Saturday in the middle of summer. A disgrace. The food was disgusting and I am just overall disgusted with the whole experience. Highly do not recommend. read more

I decided to come here against a recommendation from someone not to go as it wasn't their favorite place. However, I was hungry and since I was pimpin a Lambo for a weekend in the Hamptons, and desired outdoor seating as well as a parking spot in front of the venue so I could admire car and admire others admiring the car as well, I opted for this place. I was greeted by the host who was a tall gay gentleman, to throw political correctness out the window. At first he said they didn't take reservations for outdoor seating, but when I told him I was by myself, he goes oh no problem then! So I was seated outside and opted for the all-too-conventional steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Sure it was pricey but likely around market considering the area. My reasons for the 5 star rating were the courtesy of the host to accommodate me, and how hardworking the staff was. I noticed them, as well as the host, running around non-stop trying to accommodate everyone all while keeping composed. It really made me appreciate how demanding their jobs were and how they had to be on their game while maintain even temperament. So, kudos to the staff and especially to the kind host who was willing to accommodate my desire for outdoor seating. I also found my meal to be tasty and filling. Props! read more

Very average, mediocre quality food at high prices. Probably just due to the location. There was a few of us that were looking for somewhere nice to eat and honestly we got fooled. The service was ok and our waiter was alright. We will not go back. I did not even bother taking pictures.... We all agreed diner would have been more satisfying. Miley was the absolute best. So attentive. she went above and beyond with the best service. Love her!

$12 for water (wasn't told it costed extra). $14 for deli microwaved chicken. $25 "salad" that had 3 slices of tomatoes. If you're going to charge a premium you need to provide a premium experience. Was seated at a make shift table in the back by bathrooms with waiters literally RUNNING next to us and had to move. Eat somewhere worth the $. read more

Came here with the group for brunch. The food was excellent and it's really a beautiful restaurant. We sat inside, but you can also sit outside. Poached eggs, French toast, iced coffee. All great. Great restaurant. I reserved a table of 6 on a Saturday night for a friends birthday and upon arrival it seemed very busy. I recommend calling the restaurant or booking an online reservation. The hostess Ally was extremely welcoming and worked exceedingly well under stress. Props to her for always smiling! She got us one of the best tables inside and helped us with take out orders after we dined. We were received by a waitress named Ella and she was very nice and efficient. She recommended some great dishes on the menu and always came to check on us. the food was a 10/10. Everything came out fresh and tasted amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It has a little bit of everything.. many options! If you are looking for a nice brunch/lunch place, this is it! And if you are looking for a good vibe during dinner with music I definitely recommend 75 main. Later in the night there was a live singer and had everyone dancing during their meal! Amazing. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Service at atmosphere was great! Food is spectacular! Great Brunch menu served until 4pm! I love the avocado toast and our server Ella!

One of the servers was very unprofessional and rude!!!She's latina. She told me to grab my own glass and told my husband to hold the bottle when we're moving to the different table.you can't tell customers to do anything if you are the one who works in service!!!! And the food was bland! The outside setting was bad.we know you want to get more customers but not like that! All tables was too close to each other! This restaurant is absolutely horrible. Booked a table with all my friends and family. For 9:45. We show up and are told all reservations before 12am are canceled because they are fully booked. Absolutely ridiculous. They had 21 hours to tell us our reservation was canceled and they didn't. No way you can book everyone with reservations and tell them when they get there that the reservation is canceled. Absolutely pathetic. Horribly run business. I'm so disappointed in this restaurant after looking forward to having fun with my friends they ruined my night. I won't be returning and neither should you. read more

SUCKS. Wouldn't even check our IDS. Never coming back. Waste of time. 2nd time getting denied from this place.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had walking into the restaurant. The managers are drunk incompetent and discriminating. They are homophonic and would not let us in to the restaurant. They claimed we were underaged when we were 27. I am appalled at this behavior and the weight staff should be ashamed of themselves. read more

STAY AWAY! DISRESPECTFUL & RACIST! My friend asked politely for a table of 7, only to be responded by the host "Can you afford $1000", (and we are asians - how convenient!). It's okay to turn away people, but it's unacceptable to insult them. If we were to spend $1,000, it will definitely not be on this restaurant. Please stay away! read more

I was so excited to take my grandchildren to 75 main once I heard about there new crispy chicken sandwich. Once I got the sandwich I took a bite thinking it would be safe to eat, once I looked down at my sandwich I found that the chicken wasn't only not crispy.... IT WAS RAW!!!!!! This is unacceptable! When I asked for the manager he did not speak English and was acting like he understood what I was saying so I asked to speak with the famous Zach and he was nothing like he is on his show... he's a fraud everything from the dye in his hair to the clothes he wears as my grandson said. And not only was it sleazy inside I couldn't help not to point out the bugs swarming my food before I even get to look at my food they definitely need an exterminator because this place is a dump. Also my husband couldn't fit through the bathroom because of his wheelchair so he had to go in the women's room. This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry as a whole and should be shut down immediately before someone dies of their food and drinks or possibly a misquote bite from all the bugs flying around. read more

75 Main - The NEW CHRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH AT 75 MAIN!!!! - New American Near Me - Southampton, New York

Food was amazing, and the service was fast and easy. The waiter - Briselin - was great! She was very helpful and polite.

We visited the restaurant last Sunday evening and were told you cannot make reservations for outdoor dining but we could put our names down and tables would be available on a first come first serve basis. Totally fine. Their outdoor dining a just a handful of tables squished closely together on a sidewalk and after a table became available, we were told they wouldn't be serving alcohol because their liquor license got suspended. (You think they would have told us this before we waited 45 minutes for outdoor seating) Well guess who got busted for repeated COVID violations?! Not only do I not want to support a business that is part of the problem but hmm.. let's see, oh yea, I don't want to get corona! read more

Pump, the brakes!!! If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. We attended this as our night out, "fancy dinner" for a lovely bachelorette party in the Hamptons and could not have been more dissatisfied. From the moment we walked in, with a reservation, somehow we were a burden to the staff, in a nearly empty restaurant. 10 of us were sat at a table and started to order drinks, preferably bottles of wine to go with our lovely dinner to come. We were told that there was a $50 corkage fee, per bottle, that we were purchasing from the restaurant. NEVER have I ever been to an establishment where I purchase wine from a bar and have to pay a corkage fee on top of that. With $50 per bottle (PER bottle!!!) and a lower end bottle of white at $60 per bottle we easily paid $220 for just opening two bottles of wine. We ordered appetizers. They accidentally brought out an order of guacamole and then instantly took it away and re-served it to the table next to us, who it originally belonged to- in my experience as a server, this would never happen! Finally our meals were lack luster. To pay $25+ for a pasta dish, I expect the sauce, pasta and sides to be above average. Chicken was rubbery and sauces were watery. Overall, extremely disappointed in what we thought would be a memorable evening. It was memorable alright, but not in the way we had hoped. Felt extremely ripped off, especially with this "corkage" fee that added an immediate $100 on to the tab. Unsure why anyone would ever dine here. read more

Finally took the time to try 75 Main and give their "brunch" type offerings a try mid day. Suprised to find a good flavor to their beef hash and perfectly poached eggs. The steak sandwich was really thought tops by my friend, I tried it and it seemed like it was based on sliced marinated skirt steak or having a similar flavor, which is not for me.. but the fries, salad and my own dish was quite good! The owner and or manager wrote me last year telling me to stop back and try (after leaving for initially not seeing what I was looking for on the menu) and I am glad I did. So if he is reading this.. I say you are quite right! A Brunch menu item can work mid day during the week and did... They have some style to their place and food and it makes it enjoyable. I would visit again but next time for dinner to see what they can do with some main entrees. Nice open airy seating, plenty of light, tables in front and around a centrally located bar. All a good pleasant vibe. Waiters were attentive and pleasant. read more
