I have several issues with this place. Decor & ambience very warm and nice. Our first server not very friendly or courteous as if we were a bother. The other servers were friendly and more accommodating. Most of food was delish. The charcuterie board for 2 was huge and more than enough for the 5 of us. Not a fan of the Brussels sprouts in a combo fig cheese syrup. The ribeye was good but pricey at $60 for about 1/2" cut. Daughter ordered the filet medium rare but came rare. Our server argued with us . When it came back it was not edible. Linguini with LI clams and and chicken parm were quite good. We brought some non-alcoholic wine as some of us don't drink and were charged $40 to unscrew the cap. Definitely a big strike in my book as they don't offer non-alcoholic wine. Overall, not sure this a repeat for me. OpenTable has is as $$ dollars sign which completely not true. Dinner for 5 was over $500. They include and 18% gratuity. It was kind of an odd dining experience. A) every employee we came in contact with and observed acted very indifferent. No cordials, no checking in on how things are. Just 'are you ready to order'. 2) food came out EXTREMELY FAST. Within 15 minutes of being there, we received our app and entrees. It seemed like they only wanted to turn tables, but then things slowed down. We couldn't track down anyone and the only reason our plates were cleared was because the table next to us asked for olive oil and we were done with ours so she took it from us. Let me start off by saying I'm from NYC not the Hamptons. The prices are diabolical. I paid 16 dollars for a handful of fruit. I can go to a store and with 16 dollars buy each fruit they served me in packs and make something to last the week. There are way too many waiters either walking around or just talking around me as I was sitting. I am not at some bar, I am trying to have breakfast. I will say though they are very nice, but I am trying to have breakfast not hear what your plans are for next week. As for the decor it was real nice. I liked the white theme and it was very clean. I went here for lunch and could not be anymore impressed with the food, drinks and service. Outdoor seating is great for people watching on Main Street. We ordered a cheese board, a chef salad and a grilled fish of the day sandwich. All made perfectly and brought out in no rush so we got to enjoy everything. The server did not bring us our food a nice man in a suit did, maybe the manager? And he and the server both checked up on us frequently. I like that level of personal service. I loved the cheese selection on the board and would like to know the name of the soft cheese with blue in it. The fish sandwich on the ciabatta bread with so fresh and tasted amazing with the mayo. If I could give this Resturant 0 stars I would. Absolute garbage and zero respect for customers. I had a reservation for 12 people on Saturday night. They called me three times to confirm we were coming and I confirmed each time. We all showed up at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservation and the matradee told us our table would be ready in 10 minutes. So, we went to the bar to grab drinks. 20 minutes went by and she said another 10 minutes, pointed to our table who had the check. Finally the group at our table paid and left and within 5 minutes a different family sat down. We went back to the manager at this point who said the owner said that family who had no reservation could be seated. So this fucking place gave up our table. It's now 8:20 and zero table availability is insight PLUS we have 6 hungry kids with us. This place is insanely disorganized, did nothing to make this right (should have at least comped our drinks) and instead left us infuriated. La Parmigana Resturant came to the rescue and was able to seat us at 8:30. I will NEVER come back to this Resturant and I hope anyone reading this will choose to eat elsewhere, where you are actually respected as a customer because even if you have a reservation it doesn't matter you won't be seated for an hour. read more

It's Christmas Day and 75 Main was the only place open so we went. It was early 5:30 and it was not busy. They brought a basket of bread. One piece was moldy. We notified the manager and they apologized and offered us a free dessert. We ordered burgers - medium (pink inside) and they were cooked medium well so dry. Do not go to this restaurant if you are 1. allergic to bees 2. want to bring your dog or 3. expect to be treated well. My friends and I went to 75 Main for brunch on Labor Day, expecting not to be stung by bees and thinking it was a dog-friendly restaurant, as it claimed. We were wrong. First, bees swarmed our table, and no one did anything despite the fact my friend is deathly allergic. When we complained a third time, the owner said we could "eat at the bar" despite our reservations. We tried to sit at the bar, but they said "No," and moved us to the back of the bar ... near the fruit where the bees were flocking. Then my friend's dog barked twice at a baby wailing because he was nervous. Again, other dogs were in this restaurant. The owner rudely told my friend she couldn't be in the restaurant because the dog barked. I said that was not ok and asked to bag our food, and we left. So, do not go here if you want to be treated well or not stung by bees. To be honest, the food was "meh," and the atmosphere reeked of arrogance and judgment mixed with an interior that looked like a dilapidated tennis club from the Mad Men era. We were in Southampton looking at a new car. After we closed the deal I had the choice of driving home, westbound, or having dinner first then drive home. Anyone who knows the Hamptons and the traffic there knows what my decision was. 75 Main is very popular, I've passed it many times but never ate there, that is until this night. Let's get a couple of things out of the way, because I saw some yelper hate reviews. This is the Hamptons, and in the summer celebrities are bound to be in the area. Please go to enjoy a meal, not to people watch. You're better than that. Next, the prices. You get what you pay for. Prices may be at the high end, but the food matches the prices, as far as I'm concerned. Ok let's move on.. I had the Halibut with Blue Crab Crust. Came over a bed of sautéed spinach. IT WAS AMAZING. A generous portion and absolutely AMAZING. My wife had the marinated skirt steak which she loved. I forgot to mention that they have sidewalk seating which we chose and it was well worth it. While eating you get to people watch as they walk by. Most will check you out to see if you're one of the Hamptons beautiful people. Hey, didn't I say you shouldn't do that. Breaking my own rule. Well it was all about the food. Service, 100% on point. A hostess walks the sidewalk making sure each table was satisfied and getting anything you need. Turned out our table was slightly uneven. Without missing a beat a young man appeared and leveled the table with a moment of inconvenience. Back to the prices, yes a little expensive, but if you try that Halibut with the Blue Crab Crust, you will be more than happy to pay the bill. Will I go back? Not more than a day or so since we dined at 75 Main, I read an article that the owner decided to lite up on fire the regular table that Jeffrey Epstein & Harvey Weinstein dined. This place is embarassingly bad. The food is very clearly ordered in premade and frozen but you'll pay $30+ for something you could get defrost yourself. The "caramelized Brussel sprouts" were cold in the middle and the "truffle" pasta had no salt or flavor at all. The "truffle shavings" crumbled into dust and were pretty much just decorative. Who doesn't bother to salt pasta? I might not have given it one star if the vibe were also not SO SLEAZY. The decor theme is sexy women. The DJ was blasting ear-shattering remixes of...Simon and Garfunkel? Why? Who asked for this? We asked to be seated outside in the large empty courtyard and a table of 12 was crammed in behind us back to back with our chairs. The staff def didn't know how to handle or accommodate the amount of tables that were appropriately spaced out... the restaurant is much smaller and I just don't think they were ready. I'm glad we got the opportunity to go out during COVID to celebrate my friends birthday, it was a last minute venture being that we were in the Hamptons we had to see what they had to offer. We decided to go for a late bite to eat somewhere that was nice but not too fancy , we ended up at 75 Main and Italian restaurant on Main Street in South Hampton. We got there sometime after 7 p.m and was surprised by the crowd of customers dining outside on the sidewalk we had no idea if we would be able to get a seat right away , but much to our surprise there was more outdoor seating in the back which was spectacular. We were ushered to our seat and out server Victor greeted us with a friendly smile as we browsed the menu. We started with some drinks a glass of red wine and a rose sangria. Then we got appetizers while we chit chat an order of crab cakes and mussels, while we browsed the menu for our main course. Our waiter Victor came back with our drinks and appetizers which were absolutely delicious, I love mussels so this one was delicious and the sauce was very rich and flavorful. Our main course consisted of braised duck breast served with swiss chard and chick peas which I asked for medium well but much to my disappointment it came medium really rare that I couldn't eat it so I had no Idea how it tasted. I asked to take it back it came back and it wasnt any different so i didnt touch the meal. My friend the birthday girl had grilled skirt steak which she asked for well, well, well done was the most satisfied at our table she enjoyed her meal but I didnt I will go back to try this place again. The food is always good when I go to 75 Main! Some of the staff are really friendly and sweet, Some need more training. I ordered a fish sandwich and it was cooked really well and the sauce had a good taste. The only thing that I would recommend, the servers can be a little more attentive to their guests and they all should be wearing gloves during this pandemic. The restaurant doesn't offer paper menus, so you should wipe down your menu with a Lysol wipe. All of the staff wear mask and wipe down the tables between each guest. read more

We just started looking at the menu when he tells us 'are you ready to order as the kitchen is getting busy.' We ordered reluctantly. We ordered the Stanley Tucci's spaghetti alla Nerano, Chinese salad and kids burger. The food was not fresh. The spaghetti was beyond 'Al Dente' and even Stanley would be upset. I ordered avocado toast - they have an interesting version so I figured I'd give it a try. Came with smashed avocado on sour dough toast, pico de Gallo and poached eggs. My ONE poached egg (one egg to three pieces of toast) was very under cooked, the avocado had turned black already, and my Mimosa was sour as if it was done with Tang and cheap Prosecco. On the bright side My girlfriend's salad (mixed greens) was half way decent. Although there is a lot of staff- service was not too attentive. The hostess Ally was extremely welcoming and worked exceedingly well under stress. Props to her for always smiling! But they basically just hustle'd us because we walked in as a group to the bar? Don't groups hang out all the time and then slowly order drinks by walking up to the bar? Aren't groups of friends at a bar what a bar atmosphere is? ). I LOVE exploring food scenes, and like to think I've experienced some of the best dining across the country and I have never experienced this kind of behavior. Management and environments like this should be cancelled in 2021!!!
