I came on Friday August 30 which is Labor Day weekend at around 6:30. Initially I was hoping to sit inside at the bar area however on arriving the outdoor seating in front of the restaurant was great and the weather outside was just perfect this day. I looked over previous Yelp reviews of places in Southampton and I know several people felt like the service was subpar, personally I felt like they were very busy. They didn't forget about me but had little time for small talk so to speak. There's a lot of things on the menu and I eventually settled on the Chicken Natural which was a stuffed chicken breast with cheese and also what appears to be broccoli. It was severed with potatoes as well as broccoli rabbe. The chicken was good I enjoyed it. Now I've been to quite a few expensive and posh restaurants and the portion sizes of the main dish can be small and this was no exception so if you come here very hungry I suggest ordering also an appetizer as well. I did a soup which was Minstrome with bread. The soup was just average I thought. I sat outside and it was nice to see visitors of Southhampton walk by with their friends, family, and dogs. Inside the restaurant there's a fancy bar area as well as indoor seating. The bathroom was busy however clean. Price is what you expect for Southhampton - expensive. Overall I think it this would be a 3.5 out of 5. I would come again especially if the weather is nice outside read more

Terrible service. The second we walked in all the workers were giving dirty looks and they barely spoke. The server practically whispered when talking to us then got frustrated when we didn't hear. The restaurant was empty and servers were standing around but wouldn't come get our bill tolls we asked. Food was good tho. read more

Food is good. Service is good. Ambiance is ok. In my experience the bad reviews weren't justified. The only thing I didn't like was it's so dog friendly the dogs eat inside the restaurant at the tables with everyone which in my opinion cheapened the ambiance and cleanliness but this whole town is so dog-obsessed you can't go into a shop without at least 2 dogs in it so I guess that's just the norm here. I had the burrata with prosciutto and figs starter and that was delicious - best thing my entire table ordered. The linguini with clams was good - Not amazing - but good - which pretty much was my overall opinion of this restaurant. read more

The food was average for the ridiculous prices. If you order a straight up liquor beverage, they charge you more. I know that all restaurant prices have increased, but it's getting impossible to get a meal that's worth the money. read more

Horrible food, horrible service. Ordered two salads - one came without chicken as ordered, but more egregiously, was topped with a giant black hair. Drinks sat empty despite waitress walking by multiple times. Finally had to ask for the manager who did not understand nor care that my entree was not only incorrect but contained hair. My husband's salad had clearly week old reheated chicken. Hopefully he won't get sick. Everything we ordered is inedible. Absolutely a joke of an overpriced restaurant with trash food - avoid. read more

This was a great lunch! 75 Main is a Hampton staple but had a swanky, fun interior and was AMAZING people spotting. The meals were delicious if a little pricey - all 5 stars on the cobb salad, the Stanley Tucci Spaghetti, the Chinese chicken salad and the superbowl. Service was alarmingly fast, as it did feel a little chaotic in there. Would definitely return! read more

The thing I remember most is deafening noise but some people like this. If you want to be seen then this is your hotspot place!! We are outside but in the back not the sidewalk where it was more quiet. Cocktails were ok. Seemed a bit watered down though. Guacamole was amazing. Would have liked a slightly larger portion. It was kind of minuscule. My rate skirt steak was perfect juicy seasoned well. Mash potatoes heaven Key lime coconut pie was wierd. The combo of key lime with coconut threw the taste off and just had a bad taste to me. Like a little bitter. I think the wait staff was overwhelmed. There were some wrong orders brought not only to us but others near us. Overall though the service was good. Guys just remember when you put down bread to also give butter or oil. We shouldn't have to ask!! read more

The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because we ordered take out... But I will tell you, every single entree was delicious from the burger to the red snapper, octopus and wings... You can always tell when food is remarkable because the chatter at the dinner table dwindles down to silence. In our case it was literally crickets because the food was that good. read more

Trashy and tacky pretending to be upscale. Our water had dirt in it, they didn't send a server for over 20 minutes and it was barely busy. The server then denied our real ID's, and then sent the manager over who told us the owner was refusing to serve us alcohol. Everyone involved was incredibly insulting. As if we wanted to eat their mediocre food that badly. Don't be fooled by their pathetic Vanderpump Rules ripoff show. Don't waste your money. Go to Saint Ambrœus instead. read more

Food is always good but depending on when you go service could be a little slower than desired from time to time. This is the worse place in the Hamptons. Do not go! Service sucks. The bar sucks. The kitchen is the worse. I hope you don't have any food allergies because they won't accommodate you. If you complain, it's your fault. The only person who knows his job is the floor manager. But he's powerless. Beyond expensive. None of the meals there are worth $60 dollars a dish. That's a promise. Be prepared to wait at least 1 hour for a plain chicken breast. The music is louder than the Pink elephant night club nearby. You can't hear yourself think. read more

5 stars for service. They were all lovely! 5 also for ambience outdoors. 3 stars for food. It was mediocre. We spent a week in Southampton, on our first night we happened to stop at 75 main and had the best evening, the owner was sitting a few tables away and shared some food with us he was so lovely, the food was good and the drinks were great! We had such a great experience that we ended up at 75 main most days during this trip and every time we were there Zach was always helping someone he just has such a warm kind energy. We are looking forward to visiting again and we will definitely be eating here again. The aesthetic of the restaurant was beautiful, neutral and bright, social media worthy for sure! read more

Me and my friend got charged gratuity 18% on our bill. On the menu wrote add gratuity 20% for party of 6 or more.

Breakfast came out very quickly. Great!! It was good. However, the toast was not buttered so we waited 10 minutes for our butter and coffee to arrive!!! BTW when we called the hostess and waitress over to ask for it-- they told us " oh he's working on it". we didn't know who "he" was but "he" finally brought it to us. Halfway through our meal, the hostess began a FULL BRUSHING of her long hair at the bar/middle of the restaurant!!!! This was not the best experience sadly! read more

I went here for lunch and could not be anymore impressed with the food, drinks and service. Outdoor seating is great for people watching on Main Street. We ordered a cheese board, a chef salad and a grilled fish of the day sandwich. All made perfectly and brought out in no rush so we got to enjoy everything. The server did not bring us our food a nice man in a suit did, maybe the manager? And he and the server both checked up on us frequently. I like that level of personal service. I loved the cheese selection on the board and would like to know the name of the soft cheese with blue in it. The fish sandwich on the ciabatta bread with so fresh and tasted amazing with the mayo. I will be back here for sure. read more

It was kind of an odd dining experience. A) every employee we came in contact with and observed acted very indifferent. No cordials, no checking in on how things are. Just 'are you ready to order'. 2) food came out EXTREMELY FAST. Within 15 minutes of being there, we received our app and entrees. It seemed like they only wanted to turn tables, but then things slowed down. We couldn't track down anyone and the only reason our plates were cleared was because the table next to us asked for olive oil and we were done with ours so she took it from us. I will say the food was very good. We both enjoyed our meals. Drinks...not so much. 2 different margaritas, both too strong and a watered down espresso martini. The vibe and energy in the restaurant was good. A lot of ppl watching. read more

Ignored Yelp rating and was visually fooled to expect better for this pricey large Southampton restaurant with sidewalk seating completely packed at lunchtime. 3* But a solid extra star for lots of outdoor seating (in the back too) and open doors so that adjacent inside tables can still feel they're part of the outside. No Wait for an inside seating at lunchtime! 4* Note: Tip is already included in the bill even though we weren't a large party but 3 people. Food & Price Marinated Skirt Steak had very little chimichurri, steak was tough & fries were barely crispy. Great green beans. $35 3.5* Linguine with Local Clams just underwhelming. Couldn't taste the Pinot Grigio and pasta wasn't al denté. Local calms were a bit big but great. $30. 3* The Famous Brown Derby Cobb Salad had too much dressing making for a very tangy salad. Otherwise great salad. $26. 4* SparklingWater $10.30. 3* Service Ioana has the slight New Yorker toughness aura and get-business-done tone, which I felt added to my NY experience, and felt quite taken care of with no issues at all. Very nice to ask the kitchen for us the apparently uncommon request by my teen for fries instead of the usual mashed potato for his skirt steak lunch. He got them! Appreciate that! 5* Bathroom Surprisingly only one bathroom for each male & female in this large restaurant & bar. That means usually there is some waiting. We were in Southampton looking at a new car. After we closed the deal I had the choice of driving home, westbound, or having dinner first then drive home. Anyone who knows the Hamptons and the traffic there knows what my decision was. 75 Main is very popular, I've passed it many times but never ate there, that is until this night. Let's get a couple of things out of the way, because I saw some yelper hate reviews. This is the Hamptons, and in the summer celebrities are bound to be in the area. Please go to enjoy a meal, not to people watch. You're better than that. Next, the prices. You get what you pay for. Prices may be at the high end, but the food matches the prices, as far as I'm concerned. Ok let's move on.. I had the Halibut with Blue Crab Crust. Came over a bed of sautéed spinach. IT WAS AMAZING. A generous portion and absolutely AMAZING. My wife had the marinated skirt steak which she loved. I forgot to mention that they have sidewalk seating which we chose and it was well worth it. While eating you get to people watch as they walk by. Most will check you out to see if you're one of the Hamptons beautiful people. Hey, didn't I say you shouldn't do that. Breaking my own rule. Well it was all about the food. Service, 100% on point. A hostess walks the sidewalk making sure each table was satisfied and getting anything you need. Turned out our table was slightly uneven. Without missing a beat a young man appeared and leveled the table with a moment of inconvenience. Back to the prices, yes a little expensive, but if you try that Halibut with the Blue Crab Crust, you will be more than happy to pay the bill. Will I go back? I'll be picking up the new car next week and already know where I'll be eating. That's right 75 Main. read more

This was my first visit to 75 Main in Southampton. From what I read, the restaurant is a contemporary Italian fare. The indoor dining room has an elegant romantic environment. We there for brunch and requested outdoor seating. The service was very attentive & accommodating. Our brunch was very good; I had the avocado toast with eggs. Not more than a day or so since we dined at 75 Main, I read an article that the owner decided to lite up on fire the regular table that Jeffrey Epstein & Harvey Weinstein dined. He surely made his point to erase these disgrace individuals names from his restaurant. I am sorry I missed it. read more

It's Christmas Day and 75 Main was the only place open so we went. It was early 5:30 and it was not busy. They brought a basket of bread. One piece was moldy. We notified the manager and they apologized and offered us a free dessert. We ordered burgers - medium (pink inside) and they were cooked medium well so dry. The strawberry mule was very tasty but $20 which is a bit much. Overall we were disappointed and will not go back. read more

Let me start off by saying I'm from NYC not the Hamptons. The prices are diabolical. I paid 16 dollars for a handful of fruit. I can go to a store and with 16 dollars buy each fruit they served me in packs and make something to last the week. There are way too many waiters either walking around or just talking around me as I was sitting. I am not at some bar, I am trying to have breakfast. I will say though they are very nice, but I am trying to have breakfast not hear what your plans are for next week. As for the decor it was real nice. I liked the white theme and it was very clean. It was nice trying it out, but this is more of a one time thing. Paying 80+ for 3 items with me and my girlfriend will not happen again. Rather go to a diner and get fed a full meal. read more

I have several issues with this place. Decor & ambience very warm and nice. Our first server not very friendly or courteous as if we were a bother. The other servers were friendly and more accommodating. Most of food was delish. The charcuterie board for 2 was huge and more than enough for the 5 of us. Not a fan of the Brussels sprouts in a combo fig cheese syrup. The ribeye was good but pricey at $60 for about 1/2" cut. Daughter ordered the filet medium rare but came rare. Our server argued with us . When it came back it was not edible. Linguini with LI clams and and chicken parm were quite good. We brought some non-alcoholic wine as some of us don't drink and were charged $40 to unscrew the cap. Definitely a big strike in my book as they don't offer non-alcoholic wine. Overall, not sure this a repeat for me. OpenTable has is as $$ dollars sign which completely not true. Dinner for 5 was over $500. They include and 18% gratuity. Given the service from our waitress, had I the presence of mine, I would have changed that. All in all probly not again. read more

Do not go to this restaurant if you are 1. allergic to bees 2. want to bring your dog or 3. expect to be treated well. My friends and I went to 75 Main for brunch on Labor Day, expecting not to be stung by bees and thinking it was a dog-friendly restaurant, as it claimed. We were wrong. First, bees swarmed our table, and no one did anything despite the fact my friend is deathly allergic. When we complained a third time, the owner said we could "eat at the bar" despite our reservations. We tried to sit at the bar, but they said "No," and moved us to the back of the bar ... near the fruit where the bees were flocking. Then my friend's dog barked twice at a baby wailing because he was nervous. Again, other dogs were in this restaurant. The owner rudely told my friend she couldn't be in the restaurant because the dog barked. I said that was not ok and asked to bag our food, and we left. So, do not go here if you want to be treated well or not stung by bees. To be honest, the food was "meh," and the atmosphere reeked of arrogance and judgment mixed with an interior that looked like a dilapidated tennis club from the Mad Men era. The owner retorts back to any criticism with aggression and can only be bothered to post on his Instagram about celebrities he probably pays to eat at his restaurant instead of making changes to have an inclusive place to eat. read more

This place definitely has a cool vibe. The place felt very open. Even though we sat indoors it still felt as if we were outside. It was a Wednesday night and the place was pretty packed. Came here for a socially distanced street dinner and it was busy! The staff def didn't know how to handle or accommodate the amount of tables that were appropriately spaced out... the restaurant is much smaller and I just don't think they were ready. Everyone knows this place is much more of a vibe on a regular day so they def knew they had to keep up with their reputation and it had to be lit outside... there was a dj and all fun lights ... was nice to be out.. we ordered spicy margaritas which were so gross. They tasted like straight up margarita mixer with hot sauce, are you kidding me? Disgusting... we threw those back and exchanged em for Prosecco since that was the drink of choice for most of our weekend. Ordered crab cakes, they never came.. but they made it to our bill somehow? Very funny lol.. that was fixed obv after we brought it up to our waiter who already seemed overwhelmed and uncaring, like go home if you don't want to be serving people.... We did order a chicken dish which was a nice surprise of how good it was... the polenta was nice and light not dense like some places and the chicken was great.. we split this and it was enough... Def would make a reservation on open table as it's prime time and people want to be out especially at all of the spots around this location on main. read more

I'm glad we got the opportunity to go out during COVID to celebrate my friends birthday, it was a last minute venture being that we were in the Hamptons we had to see what they had to offer. We decided to go for a late bite to eat somewhere that was nice but not too fancy , we ended up at 75 Main and Italian restaurant on Main Street in South Hampton. We got there sometime after 7 p.m and was surprised by the crowd of customers dining outside on the sidewalk we had no idea if we would be able to get a seat right away , but much to our surprise there was more outdoor seating in the back which was spectacular. We were ushered to our seat and out server Victor greeted us with a friendly smile as we browsed the menu. We started with some drinks a glass of red wine and a rose sangria. Then we got appetizers while we chit chat an order of crab cakes and mussels, while we browsed the menu for our main course. Our waiter Victor came back with our drinks and appetizers which were absolutely delicious, I love mussels so this one was delicious and the sauce was very rich and flavorful. Our main course consisted of braised duck breast served with swiss chard and chick peas which I asked for medium well but much to my disappointment it came medium really rare that I couldn't eat it so I had no Idea how it tasted. I asked to take it back it came back and it wasnt any different so i didnt touch the meal. My friend the birthday girl had grilled skirt steak which she asked for well, well, well done was the most satisfied at our table she enjoyed her meal but I didnt I will go back to try this place again. They have a great menu so I must try something else to see if it is worth the visit again. read more

This place is embarassingly bad. The food is very clearly ordered in premade and frozen but you'll pay $30+ for something you could get defrost yourself. The "caramelized Brussel sprouts" were cold in the middle and the "truffle" pasta had no salt or flavor at all. The "truffle shavings" crumbled into dust and were pretty much just decorative. Who doesn't bother to salt pasta? I might not have given it one star if the vibe were also not SO SLEAZY. The decor theme is sexy women. The DJ was blasting ear-shattering remixes of...Simon and Garfunkel? Why? Who asked for this? We asked to be seated outside in the large empty courtyard and a table of 12 was crammed in behind us back to back with our chairs. Maybe offer to scoot us over literally anywhere so I'm not in the middle of someone else's dinner? We got home and had pizza. Do not go here! read more
