Cashier would not let me redeem my free large slurpee from T-Mobile tuesdays. She stated that because they don't have the green cup in the picture she wouldn't do it. It states free large slurpee, big gulp, or coffee. THEY HAVE THE LARGE CUPS. Makes sense why they have less than 2 stars here. read more

7-Eleven - Convenience Stores Near Me - San Diego, California

Of the many stores that I have been to there have been some 711s that have clean stores to the well stocked stores the food the bezt and the drinks the coldest. In the Little Italy arwa you have great places with some of the best in dinning and bistros. The stores close distance tp the trolley you can get the cold dronks with the big hot dogs. The store is one that has extra staff with helping customers and gettong pizzas ready the store is obe that has served the most pizza and getting pizzas cooked the prices are good for pizza. The customer service they have with the great selection of drinks many of them have some of thd best bargains. Many of the stpres that I have been to have been the ones that gave free drinks having the best flavors that when it got hot there wascspecial prices. The phrase you remember Oh Thank Heaven its 711 the stores had the best bargains the many different and the favorite Ice Creams. This has to be one of the worst 7-Elevens I've been to in my life! I get it- it's right by the station, downtown and can get busy, but the customer service is horrendous. The store is filthy. No restock on food. There is no way I'm returning. Whoever owns this franchise needs to do better. read more

The online hours are inaccurate but so are the posted hours with the printed sign taped to their door. I showed up tonight at 10:58pm and they had a sign on their door saying the store closed at 11pm. The employees were already cashing out and said the store was closed. Why have hours if you're not going to operate a business? read more

Not good is right. It was a very short walking distance from our hotel so I went here a couple of times. 1) Too much nonsense outside every time I came here. It's either a gaggle of homeless people or another time it was a bunch of adults on bicycles just hanging out directly in front of the door like it was their backyard. Wth? 2) The prices are flipping ridiculous. Outrageous actually. As in, cheaper-at-the-airport-for-the-exact-same-items outrageous. I came here only out of sheer necessity given the time and location. This may possibly be one of the worst 7-11 locations I've ever been to. If there are ANY other options, I would seek those first. 1 star. read more

These people ripped me off! The steak and cheese taquitos , the sign says is 2 for $3, when I paid the cashier(which i could not understand what the hell she was explaing) she said " I already told you that was how much before, but now it cost $3,a taquito? Whaaat? With her poor English I couldnt understand what she said and together with the 2 bottled waters which was on sale for 2 for $2.50.. I paid $9 and change including tax! Shitty sneaky business and very rude customer service. I hope this store goes outbof business for shady business of price gouging and piss poor treatment of customers! read more

What's not to love about 7-Eleven!? This store is conveniently located on C street right adjacent to the American Plaza trolley station and its one of the bigger stores in the area. They have everything you can possibly think of from items ranging to sodas, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. To get the best deals please download the 7-Eleven app where you can score major deals like 49 cent big gulps, a free slice of pizza, or any size coffee for a $1. This store also does delivery or pickup on food items such as taquitos, big bites, buffalo wings, or whole pizzas that is available on the app. The particular store also has a Amazon locker onsite which is a great place to send your Amazon products too instead of sending them to your condo, apartment , or house without a parcel locker. This store also conveniently does Amazon returns as well as the other 7-Elevens just receive packages. This is a great idea because as you might know not everyone is honest and some people have sticky fingers and I would hate for your package to just simply get up and walk away! Customer service is second to none here and the staff even offered coupons on more savings on my purchases. So what's not to love here because everyone loves the Slurpee's, big bites, and nachos covered in cheese and chili! Dont forget to purchase your winning CA lottery ticket here or scratcher! read more

This 7-eleven experiences a lot of transient people. However, they are still very nice and helpful to regular customers. Most 7-elevens get pretty tainted to the idea that transient people are always around. Nice to be able to go in and utilize the bathroom, get ice, and talk with the staff without issues. read more

Overpriced coffee and food items. You should be ashamed to ripoff people like you do. More expensive than Starbucks around corner.

Too many negative experiences. You have to watch every transaction, otherwise the employees will over charge or just charge you for something you didn't even purchase. read more

The only good thing about this 711 is the location. The employees and owner have terrible communication skills and especially bad manners. They argued with me after giving wrong info and not listing prices. The owner is one of the worst I've seen. He grabbed food out of my hand that I was paying for because he was trying to overcharge me. The owner and staff are ignorant, rude, trashy people. Avoid. read more

If I could give this place a zero I totally would. Again echoing the service and cleanliness here. My second time coming here and asked for a big bite and they weren't ready which is totally ok. I simply asked the spice level of the spicey bit and the lady ignored me and was in a personal call while ringing me up and so I asked again and she told me to just pay. I told her I just had a question and she started throwing things in a bag and raising her voice with me. Out of all the reviews I've seen this location needs to be revamped/checked for food grade or honestly reported to the BBB Insane :/ read more

I was over looking some of the pictures that this store has and there was a Amazon Storage Locker, in the picture but I walked in and they didn't have the locker there, so I guess that could be a bummer for those that look forward to having that, In another note I would like to say that every time I come in this store it's always clean a stocked up and those that work there treat you like you matter with respect, that's how it's supposed to be when you walk into a store, so thanks for making you customers feel welcomed read more

Clerks don't care how long you wait, they try to charge you for something you didn't purchase. Avoid this store. read more

This place smells like hot trash. It's absolutely disgusting in here. Homeless people piss and shit right outside the entrance and beg for money. This has to be the worst 7-11 I've ever been to. Everything is more expensive at this location too. Other 7-11s offer "buy 2, get 1 free" deals, but not this one. Everything about this place is horrible. read more

Don't shop at this 7-11. It's a rip off. There is another one four blocks north and half the price. The same Celsius drink is $5 bucks at this scam store and $3.29 four blocks up the road. Store needs to be investigated for fraud. read more

I would avoid this store. I said to my wife I did not want to pay $3.99 for a 2 liter bottle of soda. The clerk heard me & said I need to leave the store because I am homeless. If I have to argue about prices then obviously I do not have the money? I had on a dress pants and a nice pair of $90 Chinos with my new 2021 Hyundai in the parking lot behind the place - and on vacation. Okay if you want to keep your beloved $3.99 sodas that badly then I can just drive someplace else. Not sure why thanks to the virus that employees have carte blanche to just act extra rude to customers for no reason at all. I have this all on video too. If I could share it on here I would. read more

This is by far one of the worst 711s to go to the employees are rude the owner is a joke the employee Abe better be very careful about how he treats people because someone is going to beat his ass the prices are way to high I rather go to my uncle's store then shop here which is way more responsible the soda machine is always dirty the food behind the glass be sitting there all day and they want to sell it at full price read more

I just bought a chicken sandwich and took a bite of it, and it was what I think not cooked fully because the meat patty was soft but I could not bite through. I work close by so I brought it back to show the lady and see if I can switch it out. The Indian lady with a name that starts with M (supervisor) told me to go microwave it. A little confused but I thought I would entertain her and try. I microwaved it in a very dirty microwave filled with some sort of liquid to take a bite and still could not bite through. I asked if I can switch it out for a slice of pizza and she said they were different prices. I let her know the pizza is 50 cents cheaper and I don't want the difference I just want something edible. After refusing for a while and telling me her sandwiches are fresh she finally decided to switch it out with a pizza. She didn't want to though. I don't care about the 3.49 chicken sandwich, I am more dumbfounded that she was not going to provide basic customer service. The kid even mopping the floors was shocked in her response. read more

Echoing the same sentiments of others who have reviewed this location, the owner is an absolutely awful person. Most of the employees are nice enough, and they have a lot to deal with because of the homeless population, etc. But if you're unlucky enough to find yourself in the store when the owner is there, brace yourself. He has no shame in yelling at his employees or patrons of the store. I avoid this location because of how uncomfortable it is. read more

A bag of 711 brand kettle chips for $2.99, that are usually under two bucks at other locations is too expensive. Franchise may have a right to charge this and I have the right to not shop there any more. As a former 711 employee I can tell you the customer service here need attention. I took pride in my job, and engaged every customer. The price is the main reason for me, however, instead shopping at location on State Street. read more

Damn you, Lucas, for reviewing this 7-11 before i could! Also damn you for how I agree on pretty much every damn thing you've said about it, even down to the damn Hawaiian sweet rolls. Holy gourmet coffee businessman! The days of crappy convenience store coffee with the only options of regular or decaf are long gone...at least at this particular 7-11. Besides the usual suspects (dark, medium and decaf) now there are all kinds of flavored brews too, for instance blueberry (who knows what unpronounceable chemical compounds are used to create the flavor, but it's an option if you're into it). They also offer what is called fusion defense coffee infused with echinacea, ginseng and astragalus; again nutritional value questionable (does the FDA regulate coffee?) but with those herbal remedies i imagine it's the equivalent to dropping a tablet of Airborne into your coffee cup. Also absent from the new and improved coffee island...powdered creamer. In its place a variety of condiments are at your service: containers of whole, 2%, 1%, nonfat milk, flavored creamers and even the flavored syrups are at the ready to make your coffee creation a masterpiece if you are so inclined. Happy to report prices are still low despite all of the fancy enhancements. Coffee aside, this 7-11 has almost everything a grocery store would, like pet food to name one example. Keep in mind the prices on these products reflect the convenience of a..well..a convenience store; however if one wants it quick and easy, most will shell out a few extra shillings. Meal offerings have expanded to ridiculous proportions...while the standard hot dog cooker is present; there are strategically injected cheese dogs, and other wiener looking products, even taquitos can be found rolling round in that cooker these days. Plus there is a "freshly made section" where you can buy a variety of sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, even hard boiled eggs. I must say this place is greatly appreciated as indicated by the masses of business folk filtering out of the sky rises in the area and bolting directly to this 7-11. Many thanks for the new and improved convenience store experience! read more

Started going here for A.M.break to grab coffee. Continuous attempts to charge me extra for coffee and food, which is unsatisfactory. What is hilarious is the look you get when you ask them why a large coffee is nearly $3 instead of $2. Make sure you have an idea of what your merchandise should cost, you may pay extra. Blatant theft, pretty bad. I'll go to other coffee placesfrom now on. read more

Employees are friendly, they open registers when there's a long line (almost always), and they always seem to be fully stocked. One thing I'm not a fan of is the ATM. I went in once to withdraw some cash, but it didn't spit up my money. I told one of the cashiers and he said that they knew; I wasn't the first to complain about the machine not working. So, how about an "Out of order" sign, then?! I ended up calling the number on the machine to try to figure things out. The recording said to call my bank. I called my credit union and was told that the money I withdrew was still in my account, as if nothing had happened. I don't know if the ATM is functioning again, but I'm not going to rely on this location to get cash when I need it. On the upside, they do have an Amazon locker here. read more

If I could give it no stars I would..everytime something is on sale they try to say it isn't..lady claimed the 7 11 coffee energy shots weren't on sale even though they were and there's a picture of them right on them. .only 7 11 that doesn't offer cash back and prices are inflated over 7 11s even blocks away...walk 2 blocks to Broadway you won't be ripped off will be reporting to main office...only one clerk in duty..prepare to wait.. read more

Generally this is a slid 7-Eleven. It's big, well stocked, coffee is always very fresh and is kept clean. Knock off a few stars for a consistent issue. There is almost always a long line to pay. Even when more than 1 person is working, there is just one cashier. So you can expect to wait in line for awhile unless yore lucky that no one is at the register. This is a real drag, especially if you're grabbing a quick bite. Who wants to wait in a 5-10minute line in a convenience store? read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE. First of all, the store ALWAYS STINKS, I still have not figured out why and I don't want to know why. Second, the employees are idiots. I used to go in 3+ times per week and order the same thing: a hot dog. Little did I know you get free chips but NO ONE EVER TOLD ME. When I brought it up, I thought it was only fair that I got one bag of chips complementary (it costs them less than 50 cents since it's 7-11 brand) and the same lady that always checks me out (darker skin with braids and thick accent) scoffed at me, laughed, and said, "oh no, no, no, I'm not going to do that!". WTF. You see me in there ALL THE TIME and plus it's the principal, she didn't even ask her supervisor. Update: Talked to the supervisor and all he said was that employees are not required to let customers know about promotions, even when they are buying that same product!!!! When pressed about her disgusting attitude he simply replied, "I will have a discussion with her about that"....ummm, yea right!! SO RUDE!!!!! read more

So went in there one morning to get a cup of coffee almost spending $3dlls for a medium coffee wich sound ridiculous for a medium coffee on top of that apparently the supposed to be manager there in the morning said my Apple Pay didn't go through which I clearly showed her the balance of my phone I then advised her that they need to check there machines she stated "there's nothing wrong with the machine sir" I then left everything there came to a nearby Starbucks and then went back to the same 7/11 to tell her that it worked in another place so my phone was not the issue she then "I don't know what to tell you sir" read more

My boyfriend and I were in town from LA for one night. We stayed around the corner at The Guild Hotel. My boyfriend and I walked to this 7 Eleven to get something to snack on. We were arm in arm as we walked up to the door. As I reached for the door handle, a man inside the store held the door shut. I had no idea what was going on at this point. Then other people walked up behind us and the man inside opened the door and told them to come in. Still confused, I said "we were here first" then, the man said, "you faggot aren't coming in here". WOW! So there it was. We stood there in disbelief watching as he continued letting people in the store and locking the door behind them. Through the glass door, the man told us that he had called security to come talk to us. I thought that sounded like a good idea and I decided to call the police. I explained everything to the operator and she said officers were coming. The security guard arrived and told us that he knows we didn't do anything and the man inside who's name is ABRAHAM doesn't like gays, blacks and homeless people and he often pulls this routine. We stood outside for an hour with the kind security guard waiting for the police to come. Watching person after person arrive and be let into the store and the door locked behind them. A sweet woman bought us pizza and water while we were waiting. The police never came and I didn't want this man to have any more influence on my night, so we walked back to our hotel. I called and reported all this to 7 Eleven corporate but have not heard back yet. I have all this on video and plan to pursue this to the fullest extent against 7 Eleven and ABRAHAM personally. I have screen captures of similar complaints from other Yelpers talking specifically about ABRAHAM. My boyfriend and I took plenty of video documenting ABRAHAM opening the door and locking it to prevent us from entering. 7-Eleven has made a huge mistake not taking care of him sooner. ABRAHAM is going to prove to cost you dearly, 7 Eleven. read more

7-Eleven - a palm tree in the middle of a city street - Convenience Stores Near Me - San Diego, California

Very slow, inefficient service! Every time I come here, I see the workers being inefficient. For example, one cashier during the morning rush? seriously? 3 during the afternoon rush? I've seen workers stocking the shelves instead of taking care of the 6-8 people in line for the single cashier. I would say, stay away if you can! Although, most of us probably go there because it is right next to the trolley station and we probably work near by. It is not a convenient convenient store! Horrible store that makes others look bad. There are also panhandlers outside often! this is downtown and they like to go to where the workers spend their money. it's depressing. read more

It seems like every single time that I come to this 7 Eleven that no matter how long the line is as soon as I get to the front this lady puts up her closed sign and tells me that I need to wait for the next clerk who may either be working on someone's meal or looking in back for something in the mean time the one who put up her closed sign is just standing there with a blank look on her face. The only reason i'm giving one star is because i cant give negative stars!!!! the owner of the store is extremely rude!!! I have been to this location many times and have requested fresh chicken wings and all the employees are happy to help, i have never had an issue with the employees so why the hell should i have problems with the owner.
