Came for 7-11 slurpee day and it was pleasantly organized! There were arrows taped on the floor for which way you should be. Cups and lids were ready to be picked up inside containers as the line got closer to the slurpee machines. However I wished there were more selections of flavors on 7-11 Day. Store could be cleaner, but not sure I'd it as a mess that customers left behind or store simply chose to clean up by the end of the day. If it as true Japanese picked up 7-11, cannot wait for it, to be more organized.m, more choices and cleaner stores. read more

The management and upkeep at this location have completely gone downhill. To start, one of the customer restrooms hasn't been usable for who knows how long because they just use it as a storage closet. For the remaining bathroom, maintenance is non-existent: Faulty Hardware: The door lock works on the inside, but the indicator on the outside fails to show "Occupied." This constantly leads to awkward situations with other customers knocking loudly on the door while it's in use. Zero Supplies & Terrible Hygiene: There was no toilet paper stocked at all, forcing me to use toilet seat covers. To make matters worse, a brand new roll of paper towels was just sitting directly on the dirty floor instead of being properly loaded into a dispenser. Lack of Cleanliness: The room is super dirty and is starting to develop a terrible, permanent foul odor that comes from long-term neglect. I brought these issues directly to an employee's attention today, but based on how things are run, management clearly doesn't care. The only bright spot at this store is an employee named John. He's just a kid--somewhere between 17 and 22--but he is hands down the best worker here, works hard, and does a great job every shift. The rest of the overall management and staff are exceptionally poor. I truly hope corporate or the CEO sees this review and takes action to clean up this location and support the few employees who are actually putting in the work. read more

Absolutely the worst car wash experience I've ever had. Paid for a wash and my car came out looking like it hadn't even been touched -- I literally took a photo because it was that bad. When I asked them to fix it or simply run it through again, the staff was dishonest, unapologetic, and unbelievably rude. This is the Only 7-Eleven I've ever visited does not have a fee-free ATM and on top of that, there is a five dollar fee to make a withdrawal. Don't even put your card in!! And they only serve those artificially flavored coffees and decaf!!! read more

This 7-Eleven is located next to a gas station. This seems like a rather busy location, so I tried to go in and get what I need as quickly as possible. I wanted some taquitos, so I was able to get a couple of their steak and cheese ones. They tasted decently good - it was nice and warm, but only slightly crispy - a bit soggy. read more

As of 9 pm, they were not honoring free slurpees on 7/11. They claimed that there was a sign on the door stating this, as well as on the Slurpee machines. This was not the case, and there was a whole line of unhappy customers that wrapped around the store expecting free slurpees. But, the cashier was charging people. There was in fact a sign stating that people who were there for free slurpees should line up on the left side of the store, where everyone had been waiting. California Business and Professions Code Section 17500 makes it a criminal offense to make false or misleading statements in advertising. This can result in a misdemeanor, with punishments including up to six months in county jail and a fine of up to $2,500. The 7-Eleven website states: "7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores will celebrate Slurpee Day by giving every customer one FREE small Slurpee® drink. Slurpee Day Offer: Valid 7/11/24 only. Offer valid on small only." This location had a sign about free Slurpees and then they didn't honor it! read more

This newly remodeled 7-11 also has a gas station and car wash. I've used the car wash and I regularly stop in here to get slurpees. It's super organized and it is easy to walk through. The drinks are self serve. It just sucks when sometimes the drink over flows because napkins aren't conveniently placed. The car wash is pretty straight forward. There are towels upon your exit so you can dry off your car. I haven't picked up gas here so I can't rate my experience. This 7-11 serves its purpose. I typically like 7-Eleven for the food, selection and service. This location was recently renovated and is a great, easy to access location, so I was excited to check it out. Been there about four or five times and each time I have something new to complain about. They only had fresh jalapenos for the nachos the first month they were open. Their pickled jalapenos taste REALLY weird. They always have hot dogs, but no hot dog buns. Most of the people behind the counter are zombies. Really a shame. I hope they improve. read more

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. They have now been out of several different fountain sodas for over a month now. They are also out of many other things. He literally have an entire fridge and freezer section that's empty. I don't know who does the ordering but they should be fired immediately. Went in to check on my lotto tickets last night. When I asked for help, the cashier said if I didn't know how to check the tickets I shouldn't buy them. At that point he tossed a penny at me and motioned for me to use it on the tickets. Rather shocked at the treatment, I told him never mind I would take my business elsewhere and took my lotto tickets back. 7:30am 5/22/19. Just watched a homeless lady walk out with two small bottles of wine, sit right out front and drink them while holding a conversation with herself. Cashier acted like he didn't see it. I asked him if he was going to call the police and he acted like he didn't know why I would ask that. Dont bother trying that cash in lotto tickets here. The store front will scan it away from your view and crumble the paper and toss it in the trash can. I wasent "checking for winners", I knew what my tickets where valued at and I even wrote then value on each. Needless to say I was totally jipped. But was too tired to bother with it. Popped in here on the way to San Jose, as it seemed the closest, just to get a drink. The Mountain Dew came out of the drink fountain reliably, cups, lids, and straws were available, and most important, the drink actually tasted like Mountain Dew. The cashier was not rude. read more

Very convenient and location is great. Service is garbage. I came in for a hotdog and sales clerk told me. "No more " and I glanced over to see if they ran out. And saw 8 hotdogs on the grill. I asked again and he said "no more sir. We are all out. ". I thanked him and walk right out. Not very happy at all. I drive to Genes and grabbed a sandwich instead. This is a small but busy 7-Eleven. I happened to be here when school let out. All the children were here to purchase their weekly allowance in candy, sodas, and slurpees. The kid in front of me spent $17 on gummy bears and gum. Then downside is that there were so many people in the store, and it was tiny. Getting through the line took a while. The guy running the counter was less than happy. But let's be real here, it is 7-Eleven. What did I learn today? Plenty of parking. Just not enough to bike parking available. I got all excited when 7 Eleven sold several flavors of: - Sour Apple - Blue Raspberry - Original Cherry - Mountain Dew - Orange (creamsicle something) etc Everything you needed, it was there (i.e. cup, caps, straws) Small children need help with the handles (tough for them to turn the knob sideways) Definitely coming back however the key is in moderation. It sure would be nice if this 7-11 would begin enforcing the face covering mandate that is in place. I was in the store twice this weekend, and on both trips there were multiple customers there without their face covered. On the second occasion I asked the clerk why she wasn't denying service to those breaking the law. Her response was that "they weren't in the store too long. Just in and out." Easy parking, good coffee, and never got sick off one of the sandwiches in the cold section. I needed to be at work on Hopyard, most mornings, at 4:30 or 5 AM. Always, was welcomed with a "Good Morning, Sir." I can see why a worker, might get some attitude, as there were some real assholes, that came in now and then. At that time of morning, it's not appreciated, by the clerk or the customers. Shopped in here from time to time, during the day, too, and was always, treated nicely. She called the police and when they were pulling up the drive way the cashier gave her the money and ran outside to tell the police its been resolved. I called the Pleasanton chamber of commerce to see if the 7Eleven on Hopyard was a member and for advice. After telling the story to the Chamber of Commerce the woman said to me "I had a siimiliar experience at the same location"!
