I even clarified that I would put everything in the box because I thought maybe she assumed I expected her to repack everything. But she still looked visibly annoyed while handing me the box. Do the boxes cost extra? Are they only for cakes or certain items? I'll never know cause she did not say one word she just looked at me dirty. Like dont make a face if you cant make a case. I was appalled, left absolutely speechless because I have never experienced that in my life. And if she so kindly told me the boxes cost extra, I would've gladly paid. If they were reserved for specific items, I would've said okay thats fine can i get another bag. That said, their baked goods are pretty good. I don't live nearby, so I only stop in a couple of times a year. I love the Gouda cheese bread but I don't think it's as good as it was a few years ago. They used to top it with chunks of Gouda, but now it's all melted into the bread.
