Look this is not really a rant. I just wanna say that I came inside today and sure just to let you know I am naturalized here as a US citizen and I look at different way than the typical demographic here. Again, no judgments at all from my side, just giving a disclaimer that I came inside with all good faith intentions of purchasing things. In addition, I just wanted to find that 7-Eleven that I can TRUST: I think most importantly, and you will see the full picture once I say this: I was looking for a 7-Eleven that is the one I go t. One where I come in and they say hola, I know who exactly who I am because guess what? I worked in Monterey. Trabajo mas o menos dos anos en Monterrey. Mi amor en Mehhhico. Where do I go for my all-inclusive vacations with my spouse who I love? Cabos or Cancun. Carne Asada in Monterey? Claro Que si, the best in the world by far. My heart, Mi amor: it's in Mexico. So why treat me this way? Experience: It all came down to this. She saw me as an Asian American, wearing a suit with a tie and immediately thought I just was one of those techies who wanted to come in and once a month use that benefit for that one dollar . Even though I talked in Spanish to, I imagine either her husband or relative, and she clearly heard me speaking Spanish and us having a laughing and in my minds forming a relationship where I can come in every day and you know who I am: regardless speaking English or Español. I'm not kidding when she pointed aggressively at the blue bottle which is a smaller one and said: make sure you use a small blue bottle only for that offer. Is that the 7-Eleven one? And her tone. I won't dive into it because I don't want to bring any harm to anybody ever. But the tone, especially for a minority to another minority: I was... disappointed, but most importantly, sad. She had judged that I would only came here for that Slurpee. This could've been a great relationship. But I completely emphasize. I'm professional. I didn't like the way I was treated so this is not a 7-Eleven that is the one I go to for everything including late night, snacks an early morning, coffee or bagels or whatever it is and everything in between. Simply because if she has just taken a step back and thought you know what, there's a reason why the parent company does this promotion. So let me not make assumptions about this person, instead of treating him with the tone that I did. How to respect everything about the culture in my love Mexico : I ended up still spending about $30 over there and then show her the barcode and said here you go. Here's a barcode for the blue Slurpee that's 99 cents. Here's 30 dollars of other stuff. Apprecio el seporte, mucho gusto. She knew what that meant. I'm never coming back. You're welcome whoever that lady is. As a loyal customer never at this location. I know we're all in fearful times, but let's take a step back , hold our breaths, and I can't believe I'm saying this about somebody who is a minority: there are good people out there and I was one of those. I wanted to form a relationship because I love your culture and I know that I also love 7-Eleven. I hope you hear this lady on the counter so that going forward you can get more customers and your business can grow and your family is protected. Stay safe. But as a consumer, living in bay Areea for the foreseeable future: you've lost me forever. read more

The merchant was unable to fulfill an Uber online order and refused to give me the items that I had paid for. I waited in line for a while, and the merchant could not help but challenge my comprehension of an online order. The merchant's attitude was insulting. Please don't go to this 7-11 store. Cool 1970's strip mall. Lot's of parking. Decent selection of snacks and sundries inside. Staff have always been nice to me, though I've seen some people freaking out in there. This strip mall is awesome. Everything is divey, including the bakery a few doors down. Well in order to wash down my awesome Mexican custard pastry I had to find an appropriate Mexican beverage. They have the various Mexican fruit sodas here so that had to do. Oh and they have a good area outside if you like to loiter, Jay and Silent Bob style. read more

I live next to this 7 eleven and we always receive bad customer service. If anyone or any of my family needs help or simply a pizza or a cup they always take their time or don't have anything. I walked in today and wanted a pizza and the guy told me that he didn't have time that if we didn't like it to leave and it's not the first time. It's always the same person at night and he is always disrespectful with people and especially women and has looks so perverted. So someone needs to say something. read more

convenient 24 hour store that is steps from my house! while not a full-service supermarket or drugstore (or liquor store, haha), i appreciate having something close by that i can stop into at any hour of the day. whether it's a bag of ice for a party or a gallon of milk for my cereal or a liter of diet coke for my hubby, i know that i can find it here, grab it and go. selection is small, but standard for a 7-eleven franchise. read more

Yesterday me and my friends thought to drink some beer so we went here to take beer at night and it's near to our house also, but we want to split the price into two price so I asked the cashier, Can you split this into 2? But he said me mother fucker, swipe your card in his language (teri maa ki chuti chaal card swipe car) and we all can understand his language I didn't say anything to him but my friend was angry and start to argue with him. He had one Bluetooth in his ear when my friend said him, 'you think I cant understand your language' he said 'I'm talking on my phone I'm not talking to you' and thats the second point he is saying rough words yo customer and saying the I'm talking on the phone and he is working.Later on he took the beer back and said us here is no beer. We asked his manager no, he refused to give. Finally we found the customer support no on the desk and when we start to call in that number and he sell the beer back.I think the guy said his name is shadhan and he is very very very rude and I will never ever go there. read more

Used to live in the area but still work in the area, so I have been a regular customer for years. The present owner, who I think is the elder man that works during the early morning coffee rush, is a sweet man and has really straighten things out. Before the previous owner was never seen or herd of, leaving the stores presentation way below average. Now everything is up to par on being a 'friendly neighborhood store'. Customer service from the employees are A+++, always friendly and smiling, not your stereotypical kwik-e mart service. Also the owners son who works during the day is also sweet and friendly, and might I add a cutie ;) read more
