In addition, the place was very clean. My total for the two items, including tax was $23.67. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by.

When I saw my total for sandwich and latte, I said it seemed a little high. The cashier looked at the menu boards and said it was "pretty close". I was in my happy place so I just went along. Got my digital receipt where I saw a $1.50 upcharge for two different meats. I didn't go back inside to dispute it, but was annoyed. Then I tasted the sandwich. Overripe avocado, eggs overcooked and dry, and very salty, cheap tasting turkey lunch meat. I expected better for a $15 breakfast sandwich. My hot latte was just warm. I had happily started out on a walk and thought to myself, let me give Katy's some love... I regretted that choice. Their cinnamon rolls are very good, I'll stick to those.

I politely let them know , and they remade it for me. To be fair, they had just had a small rush before I placed my order, so I am sure that contributed to the mix-up. My friend ordered the iced brown sugar coffee and loved it. I liked my coconut latte too, although I didn't get much of the coconut flavor I was hoping for. The espresso definitely did its job though and woke me right up. What I really enjoyed about this spot was the proximity to the beach. We drank our coffees in their seating area and then walked over to the beach afterward.
