It's pretty fresh and not a fishy taste/smell. They will even take requests. Lately I will call one of my homegirls and yell, "Sushi Wednesdays!" And we will laugh and laugh and make our way over. Do not sleep on chunky cookie time. The singular packed chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Better than some local bakery cookies I have had and cheaper in price, but not quality. This location has my favorite sandwich and smoothie and deli/butcher. They are the friendliest people with hearts waiting to serve and you can tell they like their jobs. They are easy to exchange words with here. The store is clean and organized. I can find way more stuff here than other locations. It is spacious and it has been rare that I have been shopping while it was overly crowded. The crowded area I would say would be the sandwich/smoothie deli during lunchtime for sure because schools/colleges/trade programs in the area will all come and get the lunch specials. The sandwich deal is so smart of them to do because in this economy, it is harder to find a good deal. Back in the day, they used to include sprouts in the sandwiches for free, but now in 2026 I rarely see sprouts sold in stores even. Healthiest smoothie I have had was the green detox, highly recommended. Every single week a different smoothie goes on sale so check the weekly ads for your favorite smoothie. The meat quality is amazing always! I always get chicken, fish, and beef on sale. I have gotten sick before from meats from markets that inject hormones in the meats. I trust Sprouts a lot and have never gotten sick from their raw meats. High quality for sure.

There were other customers who also waited this long for their sandwiches, which is pretty disappointing. They have a lot of fresh meat in the butcher's shelf. There is jerk flavored chicken breasts, cajun spice flavored chicken breasts, and many seasoned kebobs. Everything looked delicious. We enjoyed our sandwiches, they were made well. My rye bread was fresh, the turkey meat had good flavor, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. We found a lot of cool things here. Japanese mayonnaise, "Kewpie Mayo". We also saw Lemon Tzatziki Potato chips, we picked up a package of peanut butter cookies on the way out. I hope that they get more efficient at the deli sandwich counter. Roughly 85-90% of the staff I have ever met here have been exceptionally great to be around. I used to bond with one of the girls back in my early 20s when I started coming here in the late 2000s. I know that it's probably an extrovert part of me, but the people who work here are oddly therapeutic to talk to and they make the day easier with their questions. It feels like a family whenever I talk to anyone working the cash register. I love the quality of everything at Trader Joe's. I even use their skincare. Highly recommended and comparable to large brand names for cheaper prices. I don't know how Trader Joe's always knows how to get with the times, but they do a good job most of the time getting down flavors/vibes. The ambiance is easy to navigate, very straightforward layout. I highly suggest going before lunch time/after school rush. Don't be surprised if you meet your soulmate at Trader Joe's! The bright lights and flowing conversations make it easy to talk to randoms. Please invite me if you do meet your soulmate at this one. On February 3, 2026, during checkout, the cashier (David) reprimanded my minor autistic daughter directly, telling her that the store headband she was wearing "did not belong there" after she briefly set it on the candy rack. I was standing right in front of him, using a walking cane, with our disability‑related support animal beside us. Our disability needs were clearly visible, yet he chose to address my child sharply instead of speaking to me. I asked for the manager and insisted on an apology, which he eventually gave. Unfortunately, while we were still in the store managing our paid groceries without assistance, the manager, the same cashier, and a nearby customer openly mocked the situation at the manager's register. When I raised this, the manager dismissed it, saying she had "no control over customers." Families with disabilities deserve respect, patience, and professionalism -- not reprimands directed at children or mocking behavior from staff and customers. I did receive a brief response from the franchise owners, but it did not address the specific concerns or the seriousness of what occurred. I hope this store takes disability awareness and customer treatment seriously moving forward. Complaint filed with BBB. Update: Complaint filed with Department of Justice . And more recently, on July 5th, 2026. The website claims that they have churros. I went in on that day and I didn't see any churros in the display. I didn't see any of the workers besides this older lady setting up the Mexican corn cake station. She was in the pastry section so I asked her where I could find the churros. And she laughed ?!? And shook her head with no words. In her weird lack of customer experience way of letting me know, "No." They also set up these yellow metal bars all over the exit. Good luck trying to get out if you're not buying anything. I had to ask this nice lady if she could let me slide through while she was paying. They don't even have those bars in Mexico. I will not be giving this market - my money.

The second day my friend went to go order for us and he kept making up lies to her saying they were closed, he couldn't make it because he was alone. Meanwhile there was nobody around, and the milk teas are pre made he just has to put it in a cup of ice. Since the other ones are watered down Unfortunate service considering we loved a sweet lady that used to be at the cafe and never gave us any problems. This guy is lazy, and poor customer service. Wish I caught him name but he worked on Thursday and Friday evening.
