This "7-Eleven" is located in the Fremont Commons shopping center at Fremont Blvd & Sundale. The other day, my job finished up in Fremont around 10:30pm. I needed to grab some milk on the way home. Okay, where can I get milk in Fremont after 10pm? I'm cruising down Fremont Blvd, and I see "7-Eleven." 7-Eleven is a branded store. Each store has the same basic items. They usually carry milk, unless it's sold out. So I pull into the lot, and my first impression isn't too good. The parking lot was littered with trash, and there was a homeless person sitting in front of the store. The shopping center has alot of empty storefronts. I didn't really feel unsafe here. There was classical music blasting from overhead speakers. I go inside the store, say hello to the clerk, and head for the dairy coolers. This is actually a fairly big store. The fountain/ coffee area seem under-utilized. There seems to be empty spots in the shelving and merchandising. I don't know, maybe it just needs stocking. The clerk was polite. A gallon of milk was around $5.59. Expiration date is 7-22, so it's fresh. Always check expiration dates in a convenience store (C-Store). Some people don't rotate stock, or never heard of "FIFO" (first in, first out). Ideally, the clerk should check the date before he sells it, but he did not. I took a chance and used the 7-11 ATM. Citibank cardholders don't get charged a fee at 7-11 ATMs. That's really cool, because I hate using outdoor ATMs. So in general, I had a fairly good experience at this 7-11. The parking lot is a common lot with the rest of the shopping center. So I don't know whose to blame for the trash. If I'm in the area, I would come back to this store. read more

This is the worst 7-11 around, there English is so bad that they can't understand native people that live here. Im trying to redeem my points for coffee and they just told me NO. Be very careful when getting your change back. I went with a friend late night and attendant was trying to charge me for something my friend had already paid for. I didn't not realize my friend only got a dollar back until we got on our way home. They always keep the coins and only give you whatever dollars you are to get back. This is stealing from the customers but if anyone was to try and take anything without paying for it they would call the cops on you. Next time I go they batter make sure I get all my change back or I will be the one calling the cops on them. Wow. Went to buy Mtn Dew Baja Blast and they had the Ads saying that 2 pops for 3 dollars and Mtn dew is a part of all Pepsi beverages. Apparently they are not honoring that system by charging me at $5.33. I told them that it was supposed to be 2 for $3. They insisted that it was only for regular Mtn Dew and Pepsi only. I showed them their own ads stating that "All 20 oz. Of Pepsi beverages " they said no. So they basically ripped me off. So recommended that you avoid this store. I go to this 7-eleven on Sunday mornings for coffee, newspaper, and a couple of Lotto quick picks. Over the course of a year, I always encounter the same 2 girls working the counter and they always fail at customer service. They are no-where to be found 25% of the time and on their phones 75%. Because they aren't really present when they do ring up a customer, you really have to watch what they charge you. They make plenty of mistakes. This place gets 2 stars only because not too many places are open on an early Sunday morning. read more

While the shopping center is aged, the young woman who works the store in the mornings is extremely professional. Somehow she is able to manage all the customers, including some odd ones, and keep the store well kept. 7-Eleven serves it's purpose. Gas and a super fast (not healthy) snack or drink when you are in a rush. This one is no different.

The coke slushies were "ready" but there's something wrong/unbalanced with the formula. The cashiers were pretty friendly, but they ran out of full size straws. I had to use a small one one my ultra, gallon big gulp coke slushy. As far as 7-Elevens go, pretty middle of the road. This definitely was not "always" a 7-Eleven. But in a bind, good place for scratchers or a slushy. read more

I don't like coming to this location. I always see the same single employee working here. I have never seen any other employee. Is he the owner or something? This is not the cleanest 7-Eleven, but I have seen worse. My problem is the employee's attitude. He is not nice or friendly. If I take advantage of one of their advertised discounts from the posters on the windows, he seems to get mad that I'm not spending more. If he is just an employee, then why would he care? So this makes me think he is the owner. If so, he needs to improve his attitude and friendliness. The only reason why I come here is because it is close. But sometimes I will drive the extra couple of miles to go to a different location that I like better. There are a ton of 7-Eleven stores in Fremont. Try to avoid this one. read more

This place sells bad product and bad service. They didn't provide receipts after sales. We bought play station gift card which didn't work. When going back the cashier wouldn't help saying he was not there during the time we were there which was before change of shift. Now I have to go back in the morning. Very bad place. I was under the impression, after seeing an episode of Undercover Boss of course, that 7-11 franchises were held to a certain standard. No? Not the case here apparently. This location is fairly new, however it is disgustingly dirty (overflowing trays on coffee machine, sticky shelves in cold case, dirty counter) has empty shelves, rude staff and lights burnt out. Not very inviting when there are at least 5 more clean locations within 5 miles. Hey 7-11 Corporate if you read this, go do a spot inspection (hint hint), they are making you look no bueno. read more

The store itself is great, it was the employee that sucked, I pulled in and he was out front smoking with a friend. It was about 10pm on on 8/24. My friend went in, and stood at the counter. I stop in the morning about 7:00 to get a soda on the way to work & always greeted by one of the most beautiful Indian women I've ever seen. Man this is the best 711 i have ever been!! the people are very nice and not selfish! As a regular customer with usually good experiences, I had to complain about my visit today at 6:36 pm. The young man behind the counter was very rude, talking on his cell phone. Upon purchasing a pack of cigarettes, I asked if I could get 2 fives with my change. This guy (still talking on his phone) told me "NO". I said what? He rudely shook his head no and proceeded to talk on his phone. I feel that he did not want to take the time to open the register and give me change. I will think twice before going here again. I live right around the corner from this 711 so needless to say I always stop by specially after I get off work which its late around 9pm....the Indians that work here must have a lot of friends or feel comfortable with their own race because almost every time I go there is crowds and crowds of Indians in the parking lot or in the store just hanging out....
