I was treated rudely in front of many people in the line. The cashier told me my English was not good, she can't understand it. She told me especially people from China, I should go back to my country. I was amazed by her commend and I'm a citizen of US. She should be fired, not qualify for any job.

7-Eleven is basically liquor store of McDonald, they are everywhere. This is like your typical 7-Eleven, most of the same stuff, the parking is smaller than other. But is not as busy so it makes sense. The street traffic is quite heavy, so you have to be careful getting in and out of the area. Customer service overall is good, their hot dog does look like been there for days. I never understand why 7-Eleven do not have gas station, they sell more stuff and cheaper price than most other Liquid Store I see.

The mochi paw cake is also very good, its chewy and it kept me pretty full for a while. The fillings are p good but not that goood good. I was hoping the outside would be crispy tho. There's a nice spacious free parking lot in the back to park and street parking, There's seating inside and outside. When I came in, most people were studying and doing work. I got the iced jasmine floral latte with soy milk! So happy they still carry soy milk since not a lot of coffee shops carry it anymore. I tried their egg salad toast for the first time and it was so delish! It's a different type of egg salad with feta cheese but it works! I would def get it again. The portion is good too and comes with a fresh arugula salad with sun-dried tomatoes. Service is friendly and welcoming like at the other locations. This location is situated in a small town area of Temple City. It's really cute and lowkey. I'm happy I got to visit this location cause I'm never out here.

Finally, a real croissant place in this part of the SGV! After fulfilling my wishes for real coffee…read morewith Yihui and Monolith, the pastry God has answered my call for flaky crunchy fancy schmancy croissants in the West SGV. We tried the kimchi bacon with salted egg, pistacchio Dubai chocolate, plain, and a couple of cream puffs. All the croissants were deliciously crunchy flaky, my favorite is the pistacchio Dubai chocolate but the kimchi was also very creative. All the cream puffs were also great but personally croissants are harder to perfect for me so this is the spot for that. I also had a pistacchio cream latte that was delicious as well. The pricing is on the higher side compared to other pastries but if you're used to getting croissants elsewhere like at Delight (Pasadena), Bread Lounge (DTLA), Friends & Family (Los Feliz) then this is on par. With the care that goes into making the pastries here, they are justified to charge this type of pricing.

Cute dessert spot amidst SGV, just adding more lines to the area's already lengthy list. Kinda envy…read morehow many options they had now and wished they could've been closer to central LA. Browned seemed to start it's popularity via the choux but expanding its wings into croissants as well. The choux was quite petite so it's perfect that you had to order in minimum set of 4, also meaning able to try different flavors as they offered plenty. We tried Earl Grey, Maple Pecan with Chocolate coating, Hojicha with Black Sesame, and Taro with Salted Egg Yolk. They were all so peculiar and luscious in their own way and you'd be pleased by the full stuffing. If I had to pick my top 2 I would go to the last 2 and the Taro Salted Egg was even not to skip IMO. Perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors in one bite. Both the Hojicha and earl grey served very solid tea flavors with bit hint of bitterness. They did regular drop for the choux for pre order, but if you prefer looking at the showcase then making choices just like me, worry not as ordering was pretty swift and no long line.

Ahma is singlehandedly the best coffee experience I've ever had in my life…read more Josh and team take care of you from the moment you walk into their home, where you not only feel like a valued customer, but a part of their family. Perhaps because, yes, it is their literal home (which, of course, has an incredibly relaxing vibe that provides the familiar feeling of visiting a relative or cousin's home, or perhaps dare I say, even "Ahma's" (Grandma's) home). Now to the actual bread and butter: the thoughtfulness of the pairings was next level. But that was somehow topped by the painstaking precision and craftsmanship of Josh and his coffees. He brews them all with not only the utmost accuracy of temperature and ratios, but provides unique and never-before-tasted flavors, with the greatest of passion poured into every drop. I mean, I swear you can taste the actual love he put in there. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this unique experience in the greater Los Angeles area. Ahma is THE BEST!

Wow I'm blown away at how much fun I had at Ahma!!…read more Me and 3 friends (4 total) came for an amazing 5 course experience and it was so educational and new. We were hosted by Josh and Mei, who are both lovely people by the way, and we got to try a beautifully crafted 5 course tasting menu. The coffee pairing with small bites was very very cute and hearing Josh's inspiration behind each ingredient, dish, idea was so special. You can really tell the attention to detail - they provide lactaid when milk is present, there's optional ice cubes for certain drinks, the bathroom is fully stocked with hand towels, lotion, etc. and the space is very beautifully decorated to be warm and inviting. 100% recommend to whoever is planning a date, girls hangout, or if you and your friends just enjoy coffee. The whole experience is about 2 hours, you walk away learning so much, very full of delicious homemade food, and just super happy. There is only 1 gender neutral restroom as ahma is hosted inside a home. Shoes off at the door, they will give you clean indoor slippers. Parking on the street is free and easy.
