Upon inspecting the bag of ice, I saw a hole in it. Because I asked for another bag and the person operating the register if I could have a new , I asked if they could grab me the bag because my dominant right finger was broken. And then he had the audacity to not just give me a bag from 711 in order to put the ice in it because I would be walking 8 miles to my El Monte condo off of Sitka and Maxson. I knew either way the bag would be dripping on me and so of course I thought I would at least get a bag for something like ice in order for it not to drip all over me or my backpack but per company policy they'd rather nickel and dime via corporate for a measly plastic bag that they had behind the . When I was trying to have this effort, be succeeded by the team at 7:11 there was an irate Latina woman that was next in line that started yelling and complaining at staff and me and making a difficult situation occur at myself the customer and at your employee. I tried to de-escalate and she was in my face and told me she was gonna fight me outside and that it was hot outside, which I replied, It's hot outside for everybody. Then she went to go and be racist and called me a MAGA because I was white and she assumed that I was a Trump supporter. Everyone in line felt uncomfortable and disrespected and a customer even said everyone's privileged and no one cares about respect. To my reply, everybody is in a hurry and nobody cares about anyone else but themselves and they are selfish in El Monte especially so I guess I should've suspected this but I also know it's profit over customer service and a 10 or $.20 cent bag is worth a confrontation between two customers than just doing the right thing. Completely dissatisfied. I hope no one uses that 711 if they're just gonna be confronted by other crazy disrespectful and irate customers on unusual a racist basis. I think the the owner of the 711 , you might need to invest in a security guard to de-escalate this type of nonsense.

I'm writing a compliment which takes place in the city of El Monte Walgreens... I've been a customer for many many years, and what I'd like to let the pharmacy manager know, as well as their customers that there's a lady in the pharmacy by the name of Angela, who happens to be one of the pharmacist. She's fantastic, as well as professional, and with her chemistry background, as well as education, She was able to explain to me about interaction with certain medications that I'm taking. She was explaining to me, and I was able to really absorb the information and I'm very happy. Definitely, I will recommend people that I know with this pharmacy, which is located in El Monte. Thank you, Angela. Please don't forget the pharmacy manager's name is Angie. She's a fantastic lady as well, but Angela is amazing and she got her job done quickly with her knowledge. This Walgreens location can improve on so many aspects. Their customer service is non existent…read more They will chit chat on the side when lines are forming at the register. Once you're ready to pay, they'll pretty much not even acknowledge you. Shelves are very messy most of the time making it so difficult to find what you are looking for. Please hire staff who cares more about the customer and the store.

One liquor store has to be within walking distance from your house and for some reason there's always that one person that decides to drive "buzz" to get another round of drinks. Not gonna lie, I used to go to 7/11 which is about a block away from Happy's. Every other day I would go after work or when there was sports game I wanted to chill and watch. I used to think 7/11 had no competition until I decided to go to Happy's. Hell, it was closer anyway and parking wasn't bad. This liquor store can support many habits with the selections they have. Happy's Market carries wine, IPA's, cheap beer (Cobra or Bud Ice), import and domestic beer. Sadly, no hard liquor. You buy booze and munchies and you're on your way out. If you're a smoker they have stuff for your too buddy, they'll support your habits also, win win right? I no longer have to ask or think about driving to get another round of drinks. I'll make that walk with my dog and yes he'll let me come in with her to get my drinks. The employees are always chill and the price deals they have are the only competition for 7/11.
