Cleanliness. Coffee & chocolate areas are always messy, sticky, missing cups, no cup lids, coffee & chocolate machines empty. Condiment areas with spilled on messes, floors are terribly dirty & stained. I prefer to drive to Tyler Ave, Bess Ave or Pacific Ave. Your clerks always say they will attend to it but don't. They are so careless. There was a few kids in the store near this area and there was this blade there. I waited to see if maybe they went to the back real quick but no one came to get it. I had to go up to the counter and tell them they left their blade. They were clueless until the manager came and got it. Who knows how long they left it there. read more

I've been coming here almost every time I happen to be in El Monte and service here is always friendly and quick from everyone there. I usually get my lottery tickets here and the occasional coffee and I've never had any problems. It's my first review so im going to make it quick. . . . . I have been going to this 7-Eleven ever since i moved here a year ago and its a pretty good one. Really most 7-11 stores are all the same but for me its the employees that make it. The manager Ash is an all around nice guy and the crew that works there are friendly. My girlfriends mom told me that he has been the manager for about 20 years. I do see that people have mentioned the homeless population that frequents this spot at all hours of the day. This is the Best 7-Eleven store. I love their beer selection and they are priced lower than all store in the area. Hot dogs are fresh and love the taste. Store is clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this store to all. They carry a large selection of Micro Brew Beers. The Micro Brews are priced low not like other stores. read more

Horrible service I just went to pay a bill and I told them how much I wanted to pay and showed him but since the workers were talking among themselves I give them them $150 and they take all the money and tell them where's my change and they say they put everything on my bill and tell me it's credit cause they can't give me my money. Don't always expect them to accept your coupon. I had a coupon for cigarettes. They wouldn't take it. They said that they didn't accept 7-11 coupons. That's strange, if you ask me. They also don't always offer the same drink specials, like the $2 for 2 one liter bottles of arrowhead water and the $3 for 2 gatorades. I don't know what it is but this place isn't always consistent, from what I can tell, in comparison to other locations. That kind of stinks and makes things difficult. read more

Been coming to this 7-11 ever since I can remember. The best one closes to my house. Ash, the longest employee at this place, knows every loyal customer by name or at least remembers a face. So of course when I moved away for a while best believe he noticed. When I moved back we slowly caught up to how's life has been. Weird right?? I've been coming to this 7 11 since I was 14 when I moved to El Mo, I was there when Ash used to have the night shift and I forget who else, Ash has always been awesome and made sure I was taken care of, i've even got pgysical and kicked someone out that was threatning him,but now he does days and is hardly ever out. I have been to many many 7-11 in my short life but this one I just can't get into it. Maybe is the bums that are always asking for money in the front. Maybe is the kind of dated look of this 7-11 especially the tile. Or the kind of dingy look inside of it. The only reason I don't give it less stars is the ample parking which is true and the fact that they sell Natural American Spirit cigarettes (I only buy like a pack a year I'm no chain smoker). I've been to this location numerous times. This place never lets me down. When I needed microsoft points or renew my xbox live subscription they had the cards to do some. When their Iced Coffee was $1 I came here at least 3 times a week during the summer. The employees are really nice and it is clean and organized compared to other 7-Elevens I've been to. read more
