Unfortunately, each visit left me more disappointed than the last. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The store was consistently dirty, from the floors to the beverage stations. On one visit, I stopped in for coffee and found the coffee area messy and poorly maintained, with no lids available for the cups. On another visit, I purchased a soda only to find there were lids available but no straws. These may seem like small details, but they add up and create the impression that the store is not being properly managed. The overall condition of the store was disorganized and cluttered, making it feel neglected. What stood out even more was the customer service. During my visits, the employees were often sitting behind the counter on crates and focused on their phones. I was rarely greeted when entering the store and never felt acknowledged as a customer. A simple hello, thank you, or even eye contact would have gone a long way. Convenience stores are often judged on cleanliness, organization, and customer service, and unfortunately this location fell short in all three areas during my experience. I hope management takes steps to improve the condition of the store and the customer experience because this location has a lot of room for improvement.

Walking around while it lightly snowed was lovely. Getting stuck in a snow storm, in a car with rear wheel drive...not the biz. Soooo after a very slow drive to try to get to Tahoe City to find a place with chains this Chevron calls out like a beacon of light, or whatever. Alex who works here was great. He found the right type of chains for my car and assisted in getting the chains on the car (which is def not his job). He went above and beyond and deserves some recognition. So shout out to him!
