The recent remodel has made this location even better than before. The expanded deli, lunch counter, and Starbucks counter has made it a gathering place for locals, tourists, and workers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I stop in now and then for a snack or drink, it is nice to have indoor and some outdoor seating. The liquor selection is better than I have seen at any other location too. There are single barrel picks from my favorite, Frey Ranch. I have also seen allocated tequila and whiskey at regular MSRP. read more

Wow, overdue for an update. We have spent 9+ years at Incline Village.. We like this better than South Lake Tahoe because it has fewer crowds and is just 30 minutes from South Reno and Carson City. Quality/Quantity - Incline's Raley's is always good. This manager does a GREAT job maintaining this location. Even when Incline is full of visitors (tourists), this location still has high standards. Always positive in stock conditions. The best part is that they really do not have any good competitors, but that does not stop them from being good. You have to drive all the way to Kings Beach to go to Safeway or Tahoe Central, etc. I know Grocery Outlet has entered the area, but I have not visited them yet and really do not plan to. I just noticed more improvements! Tap room, community center (similar to the one we have in South Reno!), dry aged beef, etc. Atmosphere - Always clean and inviting. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Team is always friendly. Price - Considering the limited competition, I feel the prices are fair. I expect to pay a little more when I shop the Raley's/Nob Hill brand. Owner Suggestion - This manager is doing a great job, and I hope Raley's appreciates and recognizes this. If not, at least we do! Congrats on your success since 1935 with your 129 locations (since 2020) and still privately owned! Love this neighborhood market! Everything is so fresh and so much good stuff! The hot food section is legit! I bought some spicy chicken drumettes and some chow mein noodles with veggie eggrolls. The fried fish looked delicious but I was going to eat right after so I didn't buy too much. read more

Zachary at the Pizza Hearth is THE BEST. Amazing service, truly above and beyond. Kids wanted pizza, and we did not have the insanity of Mofo's in us, so we decided to grab some pies while picking up some essentials at Raleys. Zachary made us great pies, was polite, and printed our tickets for us so we could check out while the pies baked. Surprise, surprise, the lines were long (hello holiday weekend) and lines were long. Zachary brought us our pies - seriously, WHAT A GEM! Incline Village Raley's is a really great store. Good selection, great quality, and just the nicest staff. This Raley's is the best grocery store I have ever shopped in. It's beautifully organized and has an amazing variety of international products. You will find what you need! The produce department offers a wonderful variety... the fruit is dependably delicious. In-house made meals and pastries are delectable and affordable. The Starbucks coffee kiosk is a special delight, especially after a chilly day in the snow. The outdoor space offers many Tesla Superchargers along side of the building. I did see also an EV charger but it was out-of-order. The parking lot is huge. read more

I have to commend Hermillda and Jose. Raleys has undergone so many changes over the last few years, but I'm glad to see that the customer service and care remains exceptional. I went to check out, my apples rang up for full price instead of discount, and I brought it up to Jose. He did not question my request at all, he believed me 100% and called produce just to verify and make sure the tag was correct. Instead of waiting his wonderful assistant Hermillda went and checked the produce price herself. They made the corrected change without hesitation and thanked me for my business. I was very happy to see that the store was busy and because of their quick response the customer's in line behind me were still busy unloading their groceries onto the belt by the time I was all checked out. Raley's is an awesome grocery store. I am always amazed by their selection - it's even better than Whole Foods. They have a whole Mushroom section, Asian vegetables (wok choy, daikon), fresh horseradish, various Mexican peppers. Very high quality selection at the Butcher. They pretty much have everything you need. Is it cheap? No. Is it outrageous? Definitely not either, and it's still cheaper than groceries in California. This Raley's is pretty large! Near the entry in the summer there is always a section of beach oriented stuff for tourists, I.e. beach chairs, towels, Sand buckets for the kiddos, floaties, etc. On the left side is all the adult beverages, and farther back are the family beverages, and essentials like Milk, Eggs, Deli items, Bakery, and a hot food place called the Mongolian Grill. Sushi is also on this side. On the right side of the store is the Produce department, with both regular snd Organic choices. All the packaged goods are in between, along with the sundries, meds, flowers, etc. The pharmacy is in the middle rear of the store. Raley's is part of the Raley's, Nob Hill, Bel-Air grocery chain, which likes to have those unique tall basket shopping carts that are checkout counter height, rather than the traditional lower basket types at Safeway, Albertsons, Lucky chains. Their self check out always ask for their frequent shopper reward card "for Something Extra" and the staff is pretty friendly. Their is a mix of local residents shopping here, with a lot of tourists getting provisions for the week. We have a timeshare week in August at Incline Village, so we have been coming here to Raley's for decades, but still haven't signed up "for Something Extra". Maybe we should, lol. read more

This Incline Village branch of Raley's is so convenient. Their meat and produce selection is large and solid. Their deli selection is solid. It helps so much when they have a wide enough selection that everyone in our group can choose whatever they are craving for and whatever they needed based on their dietary needs. Go up to the deli counter and order the sandwich of the month. I dare you! I basically like the sandwiches here but I get bored. Somebody somewhere in the Raley's universe goes to the trouble of creating a "Sandwich of the Month" , which is usually interesting. But every time I try to order it I create a crisis at the counter to the point that the staff is actually rude about it, to the point that the one guy who seems to run the counter actually tore up the marketing flyer describing this month's sandwich in front of me. I'm baffled why this is such an issue, you'd think they'd get bored making the same old thing all the time. Oh well. Edit: 5/15/22: What resolution? I still dare anyone to ask for the sandwich of the month at the deli counter here. Has it been discontinued? Does Raley's no longer offer one? Obviously, I can never order a sandwich at this particular Raley's again, but as an observant consumer, I am curious. (Apparently, this month (May '22), it's supposed to be a Cubano. We stopped by this Raley's twice during our time near Lake Tahoe and thought that they had a great selection. Their bakery and prepared food section was really nice and perfect for us as we wanted to grab a few easy meals to have on hand during our stay. They seemed to have everything else we may need and more, I would definitely return here if I needed groceries and was in the area. They also had an assortment of Lake Tahoe stickers near the checkout registers if you are looking for that sort of thing. Everyone we saw were wearing masks too, so we felt pretty safe. read more

My experience this past weekend while on vacation. I walked up to pay. Handed the cashier my expired ID. Some stores let u get away with it. The white lady took her time said nope. I can't sell it to you. I said okay well I have this.. handed her my USA resident alien card she took 1 look at it and literally threw it down. Said nope. Nope. Nope. I said excuse me? That is a legal document. She said nope nope nope I said get your manager. So she yelled for the manager. Manager came and looked at it said u can take it. She said nope nope nope. Again. Shaking her head saying no I'm not taking that. Manager brought a store guide book to show her she could take it. And the lady kept saying no I will not take it. I said your manager and your guide book said u can it's a legal document and proof of age. She said I will not take it. The manager looked at me with disgust and said sorry sarcastically and walked away. Didn't help me at all. I asked if her only motivation was racial and she stayed quiet. She was turning red. Appeared mad, irritated, annoyed and completely stopped talking to me and wouldn't look at me. Like I was a human. So I asked my friend to pay. But I was so embarrassed. The most dehumanizing experience. The bag lady was a latina and she just shook her head at the cashier lady... I said wow how does it feel to be working for these racist bigots. And she shook her head at the cashier but stayed quiet. She looked down,almost ashamed and scared to speak up. The most humiliation I've ever felt. I'm so hurt I literally cried while driving away.. this was completely unacceptable. Disgusting. We live in 2022 and there are still hateful people whom discriminate for the color of your skin. I jumped through hoops to be legal. I pay my taxes and work just as hard as any American. To be treated this was was just sad. My heart aches. This woman and manager need to be fired.. but I doubt they'll be scolded. If you look at Google reviews they have so many negative customer service reviews. Mostly complaining of the rude cashier's. I write this review not to bash but hope this would help Raley's improve. We're Incline Village Residents and we always shop at Raley's because of its close proximity to where we live. We love our usual sushi, fried chicken from the deli and some Mongolian. However, we noticed that the quality of the food isn't the same anymore. The tuna in the sushi had a strong fishy taste and strong smell (meaning it wasn't the best quality), no wasabi and no pickled ginger included in the tray. For the Mongolian Bowl, we chose pork. It was so overcooked and hard to chew. We were also shocked that they no longer serve the fried chicken at the deli anymore. How sad and disappointing. The fried chicken at the deli used to be such a big hit and everyone lined up for it. When doing grocery, sometimes the isles are empty of the most basic things like organic eggs. Maybe we were there on a bad day, but it was just so disappointing since we shop here all the time. The employees are always helpful though. We really want to support and see Raley's thrive so we hope that management can do something about this and please bring back the fried chicken at the deli! read more

Recently, due to the pandemic, I have been utilizing Raley's amazing curbside grocery service. I'm rather impressed with it! Instead of walking into a store and risking potential exposure, I simply go online, fill up my virtual cart with items that I love and select a pick-up time. Since the demand for this service is high right now, pick-up times are five days to a week after you place your order. So, plan ahead! Then, drive on over on your selected day and time, call the personal shopper number and wait for them to place your groceries in the bed of your truck or pop your trunk for them! You're all set! Now... sometimes they are out of high-demand items. They will replace it with another similar item if you'd like them to or just leave it out altogether if you don't want an alternative. Neat! The only time this didn't work out for me, they replaced vegan raviolis with meat-filled raviolis. So maybe be specific in your replacement items, or request that they do not give you an alternative if your needs are specific. Regardless of the current state of the world and this amazing online shopping alternative, I tend to enjoy Raleys more than other grocery stores in the area. Their selection is greater, their checkout times are faster, and they use paper bags (no plastic). Alcohol prices are more expensive than Safeway in Kings Beach, but that is probably because of state regulations (NV vs CA). read more

Sad review to leave here today. I called ahead to ensure the Tahoe artisan water glass 750 ml bottles were in stock to come pick up. I was super excited to donate to the Tahoe water initiative and support Raley's in the process. I drove 30 minutes and arrived at the store to see where the water aisle was. The store was understandably busy with tourists, so the registers were slammed and I could not find a single associate to guide me. I finally found the water section at the back left corner. The shelves were pretty bare so I decided to check the deli areas to see if they stocked Tahoe water there. I noticed the plethora of Drink Tahoe tap bottles for a pricey $20 so I grabbed one thinking if I couldn't find the Tahoe artisan water I could at least fill up the reusable bottle. I searched back and forth and finally after 15 minutes gave up finding anyone and went to the front of the store. I found an associate folding small boxes at an empty closed check out aisle. I asked him if there was Tahoe water stocked anywhere. He said he had no idea what I was talking about. I said Raley's sells Tahoe Artisan water, he said "uh, I don't know. That's not my department." I said "maybe you can get someone else to help me?" He said "yeah, maybe you should ask someone else?" I looked at him and he went back to work then said "oh, you want me to ask for you?" I said yes that would be helpful thank you. He said he didn't know who to ask and maybe I should ask the next cashier over. So I waited in line for that cashier. She said she didn't know either, and if I didn't see it they must not have it. Didn't offer to double check or anything. I then put down my basket and grabbed the two items I saw in my sight. Then as I was paying she told me I had left something in my basket that I put down at the end of the check stand. I had forgotten about it on accident, so instead of saying she could take it for me she made me feel like I did it on purpose and embarrassed me in front of the next customer as I put it away myself. Usually store associates are more than happy to put back a single item that you don't need or forget on accident. It seemed today the employees I encountered just wanted to cut all the corners and wanted to the bare basics of their job. It's such a nice store too and a fantastic looking deli. I hope this constructive feedback can do some good. read more

We don't live locally but were in town for a girls trip and Raley's became a frequent spot for us. The first night we unfortunately ran into some car troubles and some Raleys employees tried to help but ultimately let us leave the car overnight. It's what you would expect from a local grocery chain along with a decent selection of seasonal thingies and wine to help make your time pleasant. Magazines for the most part aren't really doing it for me anywhere, so it's not Raley's fault. I blame Meredith Publishing or whoever else is killing all the good magazines. First time visiting this area of Tahoe and needed some snacks for the night. I Yelped and googled, it seemed like Raleys the only place that open late in this part of Tahoe. I wasn't expected much from a grocery store, but I was wrong. They have a lot of different types keto friendly snacks, ice cream and beverages. I felt like they carried more than my local Safeway. The new Mongolian bbq cook sucks. He told me I was number 21 once my bowl was prepared to cook. Thirty minutes after I had ordered I saw my bowl sitting next to numbers 19&20 that were also ready. He would not respond to me after saying only 19&20 were ready even though mine was sitting there. I tried to talk to him three times and he ignored me. I talked to the lady who rung me up and she told me to just grab it if it said chicken and was my number. I did. I get home and the noodles were clumped together with the teriyaki sauce that wasn't cooked into it somehow. I've been to this Mongolian station in Raleys more than a few times and this was definitely the worst experience all because of the new cook working on a Monday. read more

For such an overpriced store you'd think the employees would act a little more professional. Nope. Just listened to the young lady at the counter throw blame on how she usually isn't stressed at this time of night but since we were there she was. She continued to tell everyone how she only had 9minutes left on the clock. The customers in front of me were kind and tried to have a positive conversation which she replied with more complaining. She literally stopped checking them out to complain even more. As we approached the counter and she checked us out we remained quiet as not to disturb her and she literally took her apron off and walked away as the machine read waiting for cashier. Then the manager walked over and literally clapped at the bagger for bagging the groceries. Price gouging!!! Pretty much an illegal practice!!! One roll of paper towels was $19.99. A cheaper brand was 11.99. What the helll! I don't care if this is a resort area. In this time of covid-19, it is ridiculous that they raised their prices. Yes, all paper towels had new price tags in them. BBB should really fine them and everyone who bought their paper towels in the last week should have money refunded and more. Actually, I will report them.
