Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.

Pretty okay pizza. This is a medium and it was really big! Fed a family of 3 plus some leftovers, however it was $32. I think it was because we got a half and half. We got thick crust- it seemed overcooked and was really dry and crunchy. Placed a to go order and it was ready in about 35 minutes.

Someone recommended this place to us and we really enjoyed the food! They smoke their own ribs and wings, and even make their own ranch-soooo good! Our waiter was very friendly and the restaurant is so close to the lake! Highly recommend

We were at cbs today (food and service, outstanding as usual) and saw something that makes me cringe a little. Zack, the amazing owner, got stiffed by some young kids on $100 tab. Such a bummer to see locals getting the short end from entitled people. We will pick up the slack for Zack because he works so hard for us.y

Food was good but service was not. Let's start with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Prepare to be HOT. They had ceilings fans on but man, was it frigid inside and unfortunately they only have 2 small patio tables. You can either order online by scanning the QR code on the tables or walk up to the register and order. My husband and I opted to walk up and the young boy behind the counter did his best. Lol The food took forever to come out. Atleast 45 mins and even so, no one checked in with us. Told us it was coming soon. Nothing. We didn't get any employee interactions until the food was delivered and nothing after either. My friend and I shared a medium pizza, half meat lovers and half California classic. The thick crust was pretty thick and the pizza was loaded. Flavors were good. We also enjoyed their wings. My husband had the chicken strips and said they were good but fries were soggy. Our other friend had the chicken parmesan pasta. He enjoyed it but the portion was pretty small. The place is great because it's so close to the launching/water areas but it's incredibly hot, small and slow. With all the other pizza spots in the area, I don't think I'd come back.

It's located in a little shopping center with not much parking but we were able to get a spot pretty quickly. The outside had a cute little sitting area with a few tables but it was too cold for that haha. Inside is small-ish with about 4 tables plus a high seating area but we were able to sit our party of 8 comfortably by pushing 2 tables together. And the lady at the register was very nice and helpful with suggestions. On to the good stuff...THE FOOD. Five of us got burgers, each one a different way on the menu and each of us gives them a 5/5! They were cooked perfectly, super flavorful, and all around an excellent burger. My 13 year old got the chicken sandwich and said the pickles were delicious and the amount was perfect, so she gives them a 5/5. Fries were thin cut & crispy. Inclines fries were better BOMB 5/5 for us & same with the garlic fries. And my kids said the chicken nuggets were crispy and fresh. We will definitely stop back to refuel again after another snow day!

When I arrived (around 8:22 PM), I was told they had closed at 8 and never made my order because they weren't accepting any more orders. If that's the case, the ordering system shouldn't be taking orders or sending "ready" notifications. What was most disappointing wasn't just the mistake , it was the complete lack of communication or effort to make things right after wasting 30 minutes of my time. I'm a regular customer who always enjoys coming here and tips well, so this experience was frustrating. I hope they improve their communication and show a little more consideration for their customers time.

We were super excited that the game was playing both at the bar and on a huge screen on the wall. First we were at the bar ... the server was amazing, the food and drinks were excellent. We soon realized that there was a group of mostly ladies, also from the same country, watching the game on the big screen behind us. They were very excited and boisterous and invited us to join them. The game was a nailbiter so the group was loud at the exciting parts. I remind you, the game playing was on a huge screen, clearly a sports atmosphere. The girls were not drunk or out of control. The manager (?) came storming out of the kitchen and told the ladies to quiet down, that "someone at the bar" had complained that they were too loud. Keep in mind - we had just been at the bar, everyone was watching, no one was "complaining" about them. The manager was rude and took all the joy and excitement out of the space. Just curious ... when you play football games on that big screen/wall, do you tell men to "keep it down?" Do you tell groups of male sports fans that people are complaining about them? Of course not ... can you imagine? So, five stars on food, drink and atmosphere, but taking two stars off for the sexism. Go enjoy the vibe and especially the patio, but don't go if you are a woman who might get too excited about a game.

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. But Julia, our server, was by far the most impressive part of our experience. Aside from her excellent attitude, she was very familiar with the menu, never missed the chance to try and subtly make the upsell and was very organized in the way she both took and delivered our order. My son received his soda from another employee before Julia had even finished taking our drink order, and I saw Julia running hauling ice and doing other things outside the normal server duties, which gave the impression that everyone on the team is looking out for each other. Whether you are vegan or definitely not vegan, Yard Hen has you covered. I got the Veggie Burger, and he opted for the Turkey Cranberry and Brie sando. The Veggie Burger was absolutely delightful. The ciabatta was warm, fluffy, and fresh, and in the age of processed veggie patties, the fact that this patty was homemade was a welcomed treat (I detected some quinoa in there, yum!).
