Roasted beets- yum - must be eaten in house! The best

If you love pizza you'll love Whitecaps! They also a variety of other items on the menu which are amazing , so everyone in your party is happy! It's quiet on a Tuesday afternoon , in spring, you get some time to think! The service is fantastic , i sat at the bar, Mick was my server, great job! I enjoyed a glass of wine and the roasted beets while i waited for pizzas to go! I must when you come toTahoe! Enjoy!

Side pasta salad. I had been actually craving this and it hit the spot. 10/10 and I liked that it wasn't overly saucy

Had a wonderful quick girls trip to Tahoe with my favorite girlfriends and this hit the spot for dinner! Fresh Cesar salad with house made cesar dressing and a fungi pizza absolutely delicious! It even kept well the next day cause we enjoyed it for breakfast! Best pizza spot in Tahoe. It was packed when we went to pick up the food too so I absolutely LOVE that it was just as great to go!

We've been to Whitecaps a few times over the years and always enjoyed it, but after a few years gap, I can say the pizza is better than ever! The crust is exactly what I like--that New York thin but with a little puff and chew in the outer crust. We got regular cheese--perfect for kids--margherita, and some kind of everything with lots of meat. Glad we got takeout because on a Saturday night, the restaurant was mobbed! And yet somehow, even though they were overwhelmed with orders (takeout orders were only walk-in, not taken over the phone), the wait was not long at all!

Great pizza. Always friendly service. We are loyal customers for many years. Amazing lake front views In summer the upstairs patio is a good hangout.

Very nice staff! The pizza was good, soup and salad were solid too. Great choice of beers as well. The views from the upstairs are incredible. Definitely coming back!

    12" veggie meat combo

I ordered take out so no review of service (? Stars) and interior. I ordered the 12" veggie meat combo. They told me it would be ready in a half hour and it was. The crust was crispy and there were a load of veggies and meat. The price was average ($25). Overall the pizza was good (4 stars) and I could have it again. The only issue was that the handicap parking space was the furthest parking space (2 Stars) from the main entrance. I was told it was because in the summer the rear entrance is mainly used. But it's not summertime.

If you're in Lake Tahoe and craving Detroit-style pizza with a view that feels almost unfairly gorgeous, Whitecaps Pizza is the spot. We ordered the Detroit Italian and the Detroit Sopressetta, and honestly... I thought I was going to stay loyal to my own pizza until I stole a slice of my husband's. The crispy-edged, airy dough? Perfect. The toppings? Generous. The flavor? Absolutely worth plotting a return visit. My Detroit Italian came out bubbling and beautifully caramelized, loaded with all the savory goodness you want in a proper Detroit pie. And that Sopressetta? Let's just say I briefly considered swapping boxes and pretending I "accidentally" took the wrong one home. The patio sits right in the sweet spot overlooking Lake Tahoe, and the view is unreal with mountains, blue water, all of it. Just know it does get a little windy and chilly outside, so bring a layer unless you want your pizza to double as a hand warmer. Whitecaps is one of those rare finds where the food and the setting both slap. Highly recommend stopping by, stealing a slice from whoever you're with, and soaking in that Tahoe magic.

Very quick service, clean place. Consistent pizza. Price is reasonable. I usually get the mushroom pizza and it's always delicious.

Dropped by on Mother's Day for a bite. Dom came by quickly to get us started. He's a joy and knowledgeable on all things Whitecaps! Started with a round of drinks - you must try the 2 Towns "Spring Forward" - from the bar and an appetizer of cheesy garlic bread. Cold drinks, hot apps! Next arrived some amazing pizzas! A Meat Lover, a specialty pizza for the ladies - it had Gorgonzola cheese, pine nuts, white sauce and Argentinian Red shrimp, and other goodies. All followed up with some amazingly warm Strawberry Bread pudding! Such a beautiful day watching waves on Tahoe and running into dear friends from the Reno area! Overall, another wonderful time at Whitecaps Pizza!

Food was good! Everything tasted fresh. No complaints about the food itself. Knocking off one star for the service though. We were in Tahoe for a family trip so we had a large group. Apparently they don't host large groups so they said we would have to be split up into 2 tables. Ok, that's totally fine! We only asked to be seated outside (since we had a dog), near each other if possible, and to have it under one bill. Doesn't seem like difficult requests, but the hosts were giving us annoyed looks, and kept repeating that they would have to speak to the servers first about it. The tone they were giving off seemed like they were doing us a favor, so we didn't really appreciate that. Food was a little slow to come out but we still enjoyed our meal and the outside patio was spacious with plenty of benches. Our waiter was very nice and friendly.

A little "getaway" from Reno/sparks Got the craft mushroom pizza (Bummer we couldn't do half and half on their specialty pizzas), but pizza was delicious! Dough wasn't too thin or too thick. Small house salad can feed two. Loved the location - easy parking and great views of the lake. Indoor and outdoor seating available! Our server was great, very spunky and had great attitude. Would def come back again!

Comfort food perfection. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. A couple quirks to know going in: * Beware the green salsa. It is SPICY. Do not mistake it for guacasalsa. It's actually spicier than the red salsa and has some serious kick. * Chips aren't free and only come in one large size, so plan accordingly if you're just looking for a small side. We perused the market that is attached to the restaurant while we waited for our order. A great way to past time and loved all the authentic Mexican spices and produce there. Usually restaurants in Tahoe during winter season are super packed on the weekends with long wait times. But La Mexicana delivered authentic food in a prompt manner. Food was good. I got the carnitas and al pastor tacos for the combo. We also got an additional fish taco. The food was more than enough for me. I was pretty full after the two, and I pushed myself to split the fish taco. Fish taco was pretty good and had some good spice to it. I recommend giving that one a try.

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. There were 3 different banana flavors that are made with real bananas: banana birthday cake, banana heath bar, and banana Reese's cup. I got the banana birthday cake and it was delicious! You could taste both flavors, it was pretty well balanced. My husband got the Oreo flavor, their best seller. No wonder people love this one! It has large chunks of Oreo cookies, you can even taste the Oreo filling. The ice cream is super smooth and creamy. We both got a small cup and that size was a good amount for one person. Price was $12 total, a little pricey but not surprising since you're paying lake prices. Plus, it's great ice cream and a good amount. Only downside is you can't sample flavors here, but luckily I bet people are happy with whatever they get even without trying it first. They said it's a COVID era policy which is a bit surprising considering it's now 2025. The inside doesn't feel like a pizza or ice cream place, it's got a more modern feel with wood paneled floors and large paintings of the lake. We loved our ice cream and look forward to returning to try more flavors and their pizza!

Much like the location, this place was warm and had a heartbeat that was immediately noticeable, with lots of locals chatting with each and the staff about the day, watching the games, and enjoying beers and some unexpectedly good food too. Family friendly taproom restaurants are always appreciated, and we were stoked to land here during our staycation. As mentioned, the menu goes beyond the basics and we ended up selecting the fried brussel sprouts, pork belly sliders, house chili with cornbread, and the shrimp tacos. Overall, the food was good, which was appreciated considering the pricing in the area. That said, I was expecting a bit more. The tacos were tasty but very basic and not worth a second visit. The brussels had a nice sauce, but they were somewhat overfried and the portion could be bigger. The chili was good too, but nothing super special. The sliders were the real winner (and made me realized I should've ordered a burger) with a nicely seasoned patty topped with a slice of braised pork belly, which wasn't quite as tender as I'd anticipated from the description. Again, all in all, solid eats, but left me feeling burgers and pizzas were the play. Still, Alibi is a highly recommended visit in Incline Village!

If I'm anywhere near Northstar, it honestly doesn't matter what the plan was -- this will be the place I stop. This time I was in the area for some nighttime tubing and knew exactly where I was heading beforehand. I stopped in and grabbed my usual order: the combination pizza and a Greek salad with shrimp. Some traditions just shouldn't be messed with. Both dishes absolutely knocked it out of the park. The pizza was everything I've come to expect here -- perfectly cooked crust, loaded with toppings, and packed with flavor. The Greek salad with shrimp was just as impressive, fresh, crisp, and a great balance alongside the pizza. It's one of those meals where halfway through you're already thinking about the next time you'll be back. The service here has always been top notch. Every visit I've had the staff has been professional, friendly, and welcoming. It's the kind of consistent hospitality that keeps people coming back year after year. Parking in the village area is usually pretty easy to access, and the surrounding scenery at Northstar is just incredible. Whether you're here during hot summer days coming off the lake or during the cold winter days after being on the mountain, this place fits perfectly into the experience. Every bite of that pizza takes me back to those Tahoe memories -- long summer afternoons, cold mountain air, and good food after a day of adventure. Rubicon Pizza will always be my favorite pizza stop in the area, and it's a place I'll keep coming back to every chance I get.
