Whitecaps Pizza is a great pizza option in North Lake Tahoe. Located in Kings Beach just a short drive from Incline Village, it offers beautiful lake views, a relaxed atmosphere, and some seriously tasty pizza. The pizza is absolutely the reason I keep coming back. My longtime favorite is the Soppressata pizza with hot honey drizzle. The combination of spicy, savory, and sweet is outstanding, and it might be one of the few pizzas that's just as good the next day as leftovers. On my most recent visit, we tried the Vodka Pie on the Detroit-style crust. While I enjoyed the flavors, I discovered that the Detroit-style crust probably isn't for me. Going forward, I'll stick with their more traditional crust options, which I've consistently enjoyed over the years. The beet salad is another standout. It's beautifully presented, and the fresh dill on top adds a unique touch that works surprisingly well. My only suggestion would be to increase the portion of beets a bit, as the amount felt somewhat limited compared to the rest of the dish. The beer selection is extensive, with plenty of options for almost any taste. Wine drinkers will find a handful of choices available by the glass or half bottle, which is appreciated, although none of the wines I've tried have been particularly memorable. The biggest challenge for Whitecaps continues to be the service. While I've had a few positive experiences, I've also had multiple visits where service felt inattentive and unfriendly. It often seems difficult to get someone's attention when you need something, and there have been occasions where details were overlooked, including being served wine in a visibly dirty glass. While it was replaced when brought to their attention, the lack of acknowledgment or apology left something to be desired. That said, I continue to return because the pizza is genuinely that good. Between the lake views, the casual atmosphere, the excellent beer selection, and tasty pizza. Whitecaps remains a great place to gather with friends, share an appetizer and a pizza, and enjoy a cold drink. If the service ever catches up to the quality of the food, this place could easily become a top pizza option in NLT.

We did some kayaking then found this right across Tahoe Beach Company where we rented the kayaks. We loved the 3 appetizers -- Crab Grillet, Roasted Beets, and Anchovy on Toast. We also had two 12" pizza and loved them, too. Super friendly staff.

What a fun Saturday night dinner vibes. They have plenty of TVs to watch the games. Beer selection was good and the pizza options are so diverse. The staff was kind and attentive. We will definitely be back! We ordered the garlic cheese bread to start and it was perfectly crispy!

I avoid carbs for health reasons. I will break all my rules for Whitecaps. * The pizza: The Italian arrived nuclear hot, fresh, and flawless! * The service: Friendly, efficient, actually cares. * The beer: Extensive tap selection that'll make you stay for round two. * The vibe: You can tell everyone here actually gives a damn! Ha! If you're in Tahoe and you skip this place, you messed up. I'll be back before my blood sugar even recovers.

Great pizza. Always friendly service. We are loyal customers for many years. Amazing lake front views In summer the upstairs patio is a good hangout.

Side pasta salad. I had been actually craving this and it hit the spot. 10/10 and I liked that it wasn't overly saucy

This is probably the best pizza i have ever had in my life. The caesar salad, cheesy bread sticks and the pesto chicken sandwich are all so good and fresh as well! Service is always good and can't wait to go back!

Had a wonderful quick girls trip to Tahoe with my favorite girlfriends and this hit the spot for dinner! Fresh Cesar salad with house made cesar dressing and a fungi pizza absolutely delicious! It even kept well the next day cause we enjoyed it for breakfast! Best pizza spot in Tahoe. It was packed when we went to pick up the food too so I absolutely LOVE that it was just as great to go!

We've been to Whitecaps a few times over the years and always enjoyed it, but after a few years gap, I can say the pizza is better than ever! The crust is exactly what I like--that New York thin but with a little puff and chew in the outer crust. We got regular cheese--perfect for kids--margherita, and some kind of everything with lots of meat. Glad we got takeout because on a Saturday night, the restaurant was mobbed! And yet somehow, even though they were overwhelmed with orders (takeout orders were only walk-in, not taken over the phone), the wait was not long at all!

This place was fantastic. Excellent pizza, service and select of food and beverage . You just can't go wrong here! Well done Whitecaps!

    12" veggie meat combo

I ordered take out so no review of service (? Stars) and interior. I ordered the 12" veggie meat combo. They told me it would be ready in a half hour and it was. The crust was crispy and there were a load of veggies and meat. The price was average ($25). Overall the pizza was good (4 stars) and I could have it again. The only issue was that the handicap parking space was the furthest parking space (2 Stars) from the main entrance. I was told it was because in the summer the rear entrance is mainly used. But it's not summertime.

Driving back to where we were staying was difficult, the delicious smell of fresh pizza quickly doubled our hunger I'd say. Both of the 8" Cheese Pizzas (one with fresh basil, the other pepperoni and meatballs) were devoured by our teens. The meatballs were sliced thin with the pepperoni and received high praise. We split the Mighty Mo, oh it was good. The sliced sausage was my favorite topping mmm. But Julia, our server, was by far the most impressive part of our experience. Aside from her excellent attitude, she was very familiar with the menu, never missed the chance to try and subtly make the upsell and was very organized in the way she both took and delivered our order. My son received his soda from another employee before Julia had even finished taking our drink order, and I saw Julia running hauling ice and doing other things outside the normal server duties, which gave the impression that everyone on the team is looking out for each other. And I'm not entirely sure it had anything to do with me, but after a few minutes of turning behind me to watch the one screen showing the Stanley Cup game, another screen changed to it that was easier for me to see. This place is just what it needs to be, and it does a good job at it. PS- I told Julia, but you guys really should consider making a poutine style version of your slider dish.
