Probably the best pizza in Kings Beach! Atmosphere: Casual, clean, and modern, with a beautiful lakeside location. Seating: Indoor dining, bar seating, and an outdoor patio. Service: Moderate, could be slow during busy hours Restrooms: Two unisex restrooms located downstairs. Pet-friendly: The outdoor patio welcomes pets. Recommended: * Vodka Pie * Spicy Hawaiian * Craft Mushroom * Vegetarian Pizza (If you're vegan or vegetarian, this place has plenty of delicious options to choose from) * Spinach Salad * House Salad * Caesar Salad * Chianti Wine * Freshies The gourmet pizzas were fresh, loaded with generous toppings, and paired with flavorful sauce combinations. My favorite was the Spinach Salad: it was fresh and delicious. Their drink selection is also quite extensive, and they're happy to customize beverages upon request. For example, you can order a half lemonade and half beer mix if that's your style. Overall, a great spot for tasty pizza, fresh salads, and relaxing lake views.

This place is worth the wait. Sit at the bar. The pizza is awesome, beer is awesome. Service is great. What does could you ask for.

Whitecaps Pizza is a great pizza option in North Lake Tahoe. Located in Kings Beach just a short drive from Incline Village, it offers beautiful lake views, a relaxed atmosphere, and some seriously tasty pizza. The pizza is absolutely the reason I keep coming back. My longtime favorite is the Soppressata pizza with hot honey drizzle. The combination of spicy, savory, and sweet is outstanding, and it might be one of the few pizzas that's just as good the next day as leftovers. On my most recent visit, we tried the Vodka Pie on the Detroit-style crust. While I enjoyed the flavors, I discovered that the Detroit-style crust probably isn't for me. Going forward, I'll stick with their more traditional crust options, which I've consistently enjoyed over the years. The beet salad is another standout. It's beautifully presented, and the fresh dill on top adds a unique touch that works surprisingly well. My only suggestion would be to increase the portion of beets a bit, as the amount felt somewhat limited compared to the rest of the dish. The beer selection is extensive, with plenty of options for almost any taste. Wine drinkers will find a handful of choices available by the glass or half bottle, which is appreciated, although none of the wines I've tried have been particularly memorable. The biggest challenge for Whitecaps continues to be the service. While I've had a few positive experiences, I've also had multiple visits where service felt inattentive and unfriendly. It often seems difficult to get someone's attention when you need something, and there have been occasions where details were overlooked, including being served wine in a visibly dirty glass. While it was replaced when brought to their attention, the lack of acknowledgment or apology left something to be desired. That said, I continue to return because the pizza is genuinely that good. Between the lake views, the casual atmosphere, the excellent beer selection, and tasty pizza. Whitecaps remains a great place to gather with friends, share an appetizer and a pizza, and enjoy a cold drink. If the service ever catches up to the quality of the food, this place could easily become a top pizza option in NLT.

We did some kayaking then found this right across Tahoe Beach Company where we rented the kayaks. We loved the 3 appetizers -- Crab Grillet, Roasted Beets, and Anchovy on Toast. We also had two 12" pizza and loved them, too. Super friendly staff.

We live in Tahoe and the vegan options are slim up here. We started with the spinach salad without feta- delicious. Next was the craft mushroom pizza, no white sauce, no Mozz, no Gruyère, add red sauce and vegan cheese. It was amazing. So different than the usual vegan pizza. The roasted garlic on it was a nice touch. They should really put this on the menu. Everyone walking by commented on how delicious it looked! Kids had simple vegan cheese and red sauce pizza which they loved.

Give this place, pizza, and people some love! This is the quintessential pizza place I grew up with - except this has much better food, so for nostalgia and your stomach's sake, if you want pizza - go! We went on a crowded summer Thursday night at 6:15 - without resys, and were able to be seated on a two seat bar top table. Not recommending you do that - call early in the day to make a reservation. Not a lot of table room on the bar top, but you'll enjoy it as you play chess with your glasses and dishes - come on, have some fun with your food! And don't forget, this is pizza - enjoy the ambiance, the locals, the summer set, and the families. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and our waitress was very attentive and made the rounds at the perfect time for refills. In a busy place, that is a monetarily rewarded skill! We ordered Jones bottled root beer - real sugar, strong root beer flavor - very nice. Your choice of crust can include GF, or the "regular" light, thin, lovely dough or "D" it up for Detroit style. If you're a mushroom and white sauce fan, Craft Mushroom is a meld of a silky white sauce and Gruyère, roasted maitake mushrooms, caramelized onion, roasted garlic, and a beautiful balsamic reduction that does not bite - but you will! The Vodka Pie had a smooth vodka sauce which paired so well with the sweet Italian sausage and spicy sausage - it's really nice when the sauce does not hijack the pizza but supports the main ingredients. If you're near King's Beach and have a pizza craving - Go!

What a fun Saturday night dinner vibes. They have plenty of TVs to watch the games. Beer selection was good and the pizza options are so diverse. The staff was kind and attentive. We will definitely be back! We ordered the garlic cheese bread to start and it was perfectly crispy!

Roasted beets- yum - must be eaten in house! The best

If you love pizza you'll love Whitecaps! They also a variety of other items on the menu which are amazing , so everyone in your party is happy! It's quiet on a Tuesday afternoon , in spring, you get some time to think! The service is fantastic , i sat at the bar, Mick was my server, great job! I enjoyed a glass of wine and the roasted beets while i waited for pizzas to go! I must when you come toTahoe! Enjoy!

I avoid carbs for health reasons. I will break all my rules for Whitecaps. * The pizza: The Italian arrived nuclear hot, fresh, and flawless! * The service: Friendly, efficient, actually cares. * The beer: Extensive tap selection that'll make you stay for round two. * The vibe: You can tell everyone here actually gives a damn! Ha! If you're in Tahoe and you skip this place, you messed up. I'll be back before my blood sugar even recovers.

Very nice staff! The pizza was good, soup and salad were solid too. Great choice of beers as well. The views from the upstairs are incredible. Definitely coming back!

Two very good things which is why this is not a 1 star review. 1. Kate our server was fantastic 2. The pizza was delicious. Unfortunately the rest of the staff particularly the rude bartender, skinny brunette girl with tattoos, could not have been worse. And our pizza took over an hour to get and was not warm so clearly the staff didn't bother to bring it out on time. See the picture for further comments

This place was fantastic. Excellent pizza, service and select of food and beverage . You just can't go wrong here! Well done Whitecaps!

Side pasta salad. I had been actually craving this and it hit the spot. 10/10 and I liked that it wasn't overly saucy

Both dishes came with complementary soup first. It's difficult to say which dish we liked more since both were excellent. The bread and hummus on the table was a welcome addition, and was especially good for sopping up the wonderful sauce from each dish. - We got tempted by dessert and opted for the bread pudding with a side of homemade ice cream. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. I'm just so shocked at this. I understand it's busy but you cannot cut corners like this. I paid for this meal so it's very confusing. My husband then took them back and brought out the correct tacos. These tacos were good. Pulled pork, eggs, cheese. They didn't skimp on ingredients. The homemade corn tortillas were great. As I said, it would have been 4 stars had they not thought it was appropriate to just scrape it off the top. I DO think it would be worth it to give them another chance, it is clearly a popular place. Dog friendly patio.
