The blue cheese is pretty strong but the amount of bacon and tomatoes provides a nice offset. It was such a refreshing salad! I came by about 15-20 minutes prior to their closing time. I had ordered over the phone but did not receive a text about my order and by the time I walked in from the check in area of the Village condos, I received my text. Restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly and the host offered to take my order and offered me water. I added a salad to my order and she happily assisted me. Items ordered: Medium half cheese half pepperoni pizza- good and loved that the crust was perfect for us (not too thick or thin) Chicken nuggets with fries- They use cornmeal and my kiddo did not enjoy this texture but it tasted fine. Large Cobb salad- large salad filled with fresh ingredients! So good! Where is the 6th star? This place is crazy good. You have to try the pear walnut salad and the Thai chicken curry pizza. Traditional pizza be damned, I promise you if you like some spice, this is a killer pie. Canyon was one of the people that helped us, she was very attentive and made sure we were pleased with our service. Being in the village you'd expect the restaurant to be packed, but they have a ton of tables and accommodate large or small parties well. Great beer on tap too! You gotta do it. read more

This is a perfect place to grab lunch while on the mountain at palisades! We had a perfect lunch with a large group. They have ample seating and wonderful service! Was not too busy at approximately 11:30 but as more people came down for lunch, it did pick up. Large pizza was big and fed 3-4 people. The menu does say it has 10 slices but it actually has eight! They were so kind to give some fun toys to our toddlers to keep them entertained while we enjoyed our food! Thai Curry Pizza is a favorite, I get it every time! It's a unique twist to pizza & tasted better than I expected. It's a sweet curry sauce base, the chicken can be a little dry but the veggies & lime juice makes it refreshing. Fireside Pizza is a classic, I feel like you can't go wrong with this. A side of ranch enhances the pizza but not a must. One large pizza is enough to feed 4 people, and two large pizzas will give you plenty of leftovers. The pastas are pretty good too - Italian herb shrimp penne if you're craving creamy & heavier flavors. Spaghetti Bolognese for a classic red sauce pasta. It is expensive but I think it's one of the more worth it dining options at the village considering how expensive resort meals are. There's indoor and outdoor seating. A young man (clearly new to the job) started serving us and then he got busy with a large group so a lovely lady helped us. Service is quick and seated indoors but outside is an option on a Monday in the summer. Not sure how it is on weekends and winter. Plenty of parking in the Palisades lot. Pizza is thin crust not my fav but everyone loved it. However the Greek salad with chicken was legend! Get the olives on it you won't be disappointed. Sadly I didn't get any artichoke hearts as advertised. Drinks are huge glasses for soda and water so we don't need refills! We ordered and chose our own toppings 3 different type of cheese. And arugula and pesto base. The crust were think and chewy. But it was hard the next day. The kept the arugula on the side for our to go order which was really smart of them. But I would say what we built was really good flavoring. The Thai curry chicken was unique. The 2 pizzas seemed a little pricey at $37 each, but they were very good so I thought it was worth it. Our server was friendly and prompt with our order, recommendations and water. The pears were hard and flavorless and not much! The server had a hard time understanding how badly I wanted ice with my water but he got it right the third time! The BBQ chicken pizza was overcooked with more dry chicken and inedible bacon. The second time we came in for lunch we warned the server about the chicken. He put it on the side and told us if it was dry he wouldn't charge us for it. It wasn't dry! He also had them put in extra pears and they were perfect. And came back to have spinach and artichoke dip and ravioli and a house salad for dinner. Two different servers, both attentive and efficient and friendly. Best restaurant in the village at Palisades Tahoe and it's worth waiting in line for! If you come on a busy weekend, prepare for a long wait. You can check your waitlist status on your phone so while you wait, you can explore the village. My group ordered the Margarita Pizza, Lodge Wings, California Cobb Salad, and Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs. Everything was super tasty plus the dishes came out quick and hot which was exactly what we needed after some snow activities. The large pizza came in 8 large slices and they were generous with the toppings. The wings were some of the best that I've had in a long time! Also want to mention that the ranch that came with the wings was PERFECT. Cobb salad was the just what we need to balance out our lunch; it was also a hearty healthy meal of its own. I felt like the spaghetti was the only mediocre item that we've ordered; nothing from this dish stood out to me. Since it was lightly snowing on the day we visited Tahoe, the outdoor seating was not available but I can imagine it being nice to dine outside on a clear day. That said, the pizzas are definitely just ok. I mean, kudos to the chef and cooks who manage to make pizza at high altitude, I'm sure it's not easy and hard to make comparable to lower altitude pizza. That said, the crust isn't my favorite and the pizza is loaded with toppings -- which is nice! -- a lot of which are mushrooms and peppers that give out moisture, making the top layer of the crust mushy. The appetizers are quite good though (not the salad. The other stuff). And you do need to load up on the carbs while you're on the mountain here.
