Such an amazing meal! Fireside Pizza was the only restaurant with decent reviews in the Village and I can tell why. What we ordered: + Cobb Salad (5/5): Fresh, flavorful, and great portion size. The blue cheese is pretty strong but the amount of bacon and tomatoes provides a nice offset. It was such a refreshing salad! Only suggestion would be to add more avocado. :,) + Spicy Ravioli (5/5): SOOO YUMMY. The meat sauce in this is the perfect blend of spice and savory flavor. The raviolis are full of cheese and there is an ample amount of meat distributed throughout the sauce. + Mountain Mule (5/5): Strong lime flavor, strong spritz taste! I will totally be coming back here for my next meal in the village. read more

I came by about 15-20 minutes prior to their closing time. I had ordered over the phone but did not receive a text about my order and by the time I walked in from the check in area of the Village condos, I received my text. Restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly and the host offered to take my order and offered me water. I added a salad to my order and she happily assisted me. Items ordered: Medium half cheese half pepperoni pizza- good and loved that the crust was perfect for us (not too thick or thin) Chicken nuggets with fries- They use cornmeal and my kiddo did not enjoy this texture but it tasted fine. Large Cobb salad- large salad filled with fresh ingredients! So good! Small Greek salad- good salad and fresh ingredients Garlic cheesy bread- kiddo and hubby enjoyed this but it was too cheesy for me. Overall quality of food 3.5 stars. Service and ambiance- 4. read more

We enjoyed the pear Gorgonzola pizza. However, we added Italian sausage because it doesn't come with any protein on it. At first we thought they forgot the sausage, but then the kind waitress examined it closely and found some almost microscopic gray crumbs for us. I didn't love the crust, I thought it didn't have any flavor, but hubby liked it a lot. We both enjoyed the Garlic sauce, pear, cheese, and arugula. So I would recommend that pizza, but the sausage was a waste of our money. read more

This is a great pizza place to enjoy while in the Olympic Village at Palisades Ski Resort. Indoor and outdoor dining is available, but the place to be is outside with beautiful views of the mountains. The patio is dog friendly. There were several dogs there while we had lunch. We enjoyed our dining experience so much because of the lively atmosphere and wonderful friendly service. The pizza was delicious with a crisp crust and fresh toppings. We especially enjoyed the Fireside combo pizza and the hummus olive and feta appetizer. read more

Fireside Pizza: A Tahoe Favorite! We're repeat visitors to Fireside Pizza in the Olympic Village, Palisades Lake Tahoe, and we're thrilled to report that it still delivers! We celebrated our daughter's birthday here two years ago, and this time we brought two more families along. The vibe is still lively and inviting, with cozy indoor seating and gorgeous outdoor options (weather permitting). The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff handling our party of eight with ease. We waited just 10 minutes for a table, and the wait was worth it! Appetizers: - Pear and Walnut Salad: AMAZING, with candied walnuts, goat cheese, and a perfect balance of flavors - Lodge Chicken Wings: BAKED TO PERFECTION, with a delicious buffalo sauce Main Course: - Large Pizza (half-and-half): MEDiterranean and Thai Curry pizzas, both were OUT OF THIS WORLD, with incredible flavors and a perfect crust - Personal Cheese Pizza (kids' choice): DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection - Italian Herb Shrimp Penne: CREAMY, flavorful, and loaded with fresh herbs and parmesan cheese Drinks: - West Coast Haze IPA (50/50): CRISP, COLD, and PERFECTLY PAIRED with the meal Desserts: - Oven-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookie: DIVINE, with warm cookie and cold vanilla ice cream - Brownie: RICH, fudgey, and paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream Tips: - Must-try: The pizzas, especially the Mediterranean and Thai Curry combo! - Great spot for families and groups Fireside Pizza is a Tahoe gem, and we'll be back for more! read more

Thai Curry Pizza is a favorite, I get it every time! It's a unique twist to pizza & tasted better than I expected. It's a sweet curry sauce base, the chicken can be a little dry but the veggies & lime juice makes it refreshing. Fireside Pizza is a classic, I feel like you can't go wrong with this. A side of ranch enhances the pizza but not a must. One large pizza is enough to feed 4 people, and two large pizzas will give you plenty of leftovers. The pastas are pretty good too - Italian herb shrimp penne if you're craving creamy & heavier flavors. Spaghetti Bolognese for a classic red sauce pasta. It is expensive but I think it's one of the more worth it dining options at the village considering how expensive resort meals are. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They get busy on the weekends so expect a wait time for dining in & slower service during dinner rush. You can always opt for take out as well. read more

It's a great place and great food. Employees owned restaurants. Very friendly staff and the service.

Great Employee Owned restaurant with pleasant local service and great pizza and salads, and of course BEER.

The pizza was good if one enjoys thin crust and minimal sauce. I liked the fire-roasted peppers and onions as the toppings. The fries were good and the chicken tenders were okay (primarily got for the toddler who ended up not quite taking a fancy to it as it was too crunchy/hard). I was originally going to put four stars until I learned even with take-out, there's an 18% take-out tax (I understand gratuity tip when dining in for the service, but first time seeing a take out tax) so deducted a star as a result. read more

My husband and I loved this cozy spot so much, we went twice within three days. They make a fabulous pizza and the most amazing gluten free crust that doesn't feel like a sacrifice. Will definitely return the next time we're in the Lake Tahoe area. read more

Great after ski eatery. Don't need to wait long. Food is solid. I would stick with the salads and pies. I loved the balsalmic salad and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I added fresh diced tomatoes and it was perfectly crispy and full of flavor. Prices are def reasonable given the primo location in the village. The staff was very nice and prompt. Highly recommend. read more

We have been coming here for 17 summers and this year was no different, amazing food and service. So many varieties of meals for our group of 10 or more that gather each summer. We will be back! This is a perfect place to grab lunch while on the mountain at palisades! We had a perfect lunch with a large group. They have ample seating and wonderful service! Was not too busy at approximately 11:30 but as more people came down for lunch, it did pick up. Large pizza was big and fed 3-4 people. The menu does say it has 10 slices but it actually has eight! They were so kind to give some fun toys to our toddlers to keep them entertained while we enjoyed our food! We will be stopping to get this delicious pizza next ski trip Also, their fountain drinks & water cups are very large, which was so appreciated!! read more

Where is the 6th star? This place is crazy good. You have to try the pear walnut salad and the Thai chicken curry pizza. Traditional pizza be damned, I promise you if you like some spice, this is a killer pie. Canyon was one of the people that helped us, she was very attentive and made sure we were pleased with our service. Being in the village you'd expect the restaurant to be packed, but they have a ton of tables and accommodate large or small parties well. Great beer on tap too! You gotta do it. read more

Service was great, friendly and helpful. Pizza was hot, the crust was thin and I like it extra crispy! My husband said it was bomb. My boys doing not like think crust so that was their only complaint. They hey all loved the wings. They ordered buffalo sauce wings and they liked the sweet undertone. My teenager said, "The wings were gas" the ambiance was awesome. Just look at the pictures! It was a cute Pizza Hut with a beautiful view of the river. Definitely recommend. read more

Service is quick and seated indoors but outside is an option on a Monday in the summer. Not sure how it is on weekends and winter. Plenty of parking in the Palisades lot. Pizza is thin crust not my fav but everyone loved it. However the Greek salad with chicken was legend! Get the olives on it you won't be disappointed. Sadly I didn't get any artichoke hearts as advertised. Drinks are huge glasses for soda and water so we don't need refills! Happy Hour is pretty good and starts at 2pm which is insanely awesome if you're on vacation. Inside has some cool art work on the walls and chill vibe. read more

Great pizza!!! We had the fire roasted bell pepper pizza and it was delicious. We ordered and chose our own toppings 3 different type of cheese. And arugula and pesto base. The crust were think and chewy. But it was hard the next day. The kept the arugula on the side for our to go order which was really smart of them. But I would say what we built was really good flavoring. Expensive tho for medium which comes with roughly 8 slices. read more

We ordered 2 large pizzas. - Half Fireside, Half Hawaiian - Half BBQ chicken, Half Thai Curry Chicken The pizzas were all very tasty. The base was not too thick or thin. The Thai curry chicken was unique. The 2 pizzas seemed a little pricey at $37 each, but they were very good so I thought it was worth it. Our server was friendly and prompt with our order, recommendations and water. I think she was very busy because she didn't give us enough napkins to start and forgot to bring more napkins and a to go box when we asked. Good food, friendly service. I would come back again. read more

Pretty good pizza place for being in a resort village. Tried the chicken Thai pizza - toppings were all super fresh, the crust was pretty bland though. Also shared bolognese pasta which was pretty decent too. Friendly service and lots of seating. read more

We ate here twice this weekend. First time for dinner was meh. The artichoke dip was pretty good but more cream cheese than cheese. The chicken on the pear salad was so dry we couldn't eat it. The pears were hard and flavorless and not much! The server had a hard time understanding how badly I wanted ice with my water but he got it right the third time! The BBQ chicken pizza was overcooked with more dry chicken and inedible bacon. The second time we came in for lunch we warned the server about the chicken. He put it on the side and told us if it was dry he wouldn't charge us for it. It wasn't dry! He also had them put in extra pears and they were perfect. The Fireside style pizza was great and perfectly cooked. Plenty of ice for the water. It's not hard to provide good service and our guy was very good this time. read more

We came here twice in one day because the food was excellent and the service was even better. It felt like a cozy pizza place with upscale food. We had pepperoni and pear and walnut salad for lunch. And came back to have spinach and artichoke dip and ravioli and a house salad for dinner. Two different servers, both attentive and efficient and friendly. All the food was flavorful and fresh and we ate every bite. We might have fought over the last ravioli since we split everything. I let my wife win, don't let her tell you any different! read more

This is the 2nd time I've been here and both times the pizza was excellent. Definitely 5 star. We had the Mediterranean add pepperoni. The reason for a 4 star overall was the Greek salad lacked flavor and the cheese bread was just ok as well. Service was good. The place was moderately busy but they only had 2 servers. We are outside which was nice. Considering the other parts of north Tahoe were slammed this part of town was not. The only other thing that was a bit maddening is the "resort tax". We were dining not staying there so it seems a bit odd to charge extra money to dine in the Palisades village. read more

Nice little pizza joint in Olympic Valley. Very friendly and casual and great for families and larger groups. The pizza was good if a little on the pricier side but that's expected for being in the Tahoe area. The brownie was delicious. Definitely check it out! read more

Love fireside. We got takeout, pizza was hot and tasty. Staff was awesome, very attentive.

Best restaurant in the village at Palisades Tahoe and it's worth waiting in line for! If you come on a busy weekend, prepare for a long wait. You can check your waitlist status on your phone so while you wait, you can explore the village. My group ordered the Margarita Pizza, Lodge Wings, California Cobb Salad, and Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs. Everything was super tasty plus the dishes came out quick and hot which was exactly what we needed after some snow activities. The large pizza came in 8 large slices and they were generous with the toppings. The wings were some of the best that I've had in a long time! Also want to mention that the ranch that came with the wings was PERFECT. Cobb salad was the just what we need to balance out our lunch; it was also a hearty healthy meal of its own. I felt like the spaghetti was the only mediocre item that we've ordered; nothing from this dish stood out to me. Since it was lightly snowing on the day we visited Tahoe, the outdoor seating was not available but I can imagine it being nice to dine outside on a clear day. The interior gave me friendly neighborhood restaurant vibes; relaxing, warm, and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend dinning at Fireside Pizza if you are skiing or snowboarding on the Palisades mountains. read more

Try this and you will thank me! We ordered two medium pizzas, the Blanco and the Hawaiian with Red Onion, the Classic Caesar and Four Cheese Ravioli with Italian Sausage. Everything was so good! Was at Palisades for ski vacation and had dinner here. Ordered the Fireside, BBQ Chicken, and Thai Curry pizzas. All were delicious. The crust on the large was a bit underdone but everything tasted great. The Caesar salad was very good too. The only thing was the service. Our waitress was very friendly and enthusiastic but she was really spotty about checking on us. We would make simple requests like wanting a knife and more water and she would disappear for super long time. Unfortunate. read more

I've now eaten here three times (once each for the past 3 summers) and it's never disappointed. We're fortunate to get the patio each time (usually large groups with kids and dogs will do that) and the food is always delicious.
