Food: The biggest disappointment was the hamburger, which we ordered medium-rare but received well-done. It was dry, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor -- honestly, we wouldn't order it again. The pulled pork sandwich had decent taste, though it was on the dry side and could've used more BBQ sauce to bring it to life. The shrimp were fine but forgettable. The seafood bisque was probably the best thing we had -- rich and creamy with a nice depth of flavor. The crab cakes had good seasoning but were a bit soggy on the outside. We also ordered fries, but they never made it to the table, which was frustrating. Drinks: We tried two of their house beers, and while drinkable, they were just average -- nothing that stood out or made us want to order a second round. Service: On the bright side, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, doing her best despite the kitchen issues. Her friendly service helped soften the experience. Final Thoughts: While the vibe is relaxed and the service was great, the food execution and beer quality didn't quite deliver. Nice restaurant overlooking Lake Tahoe. It's located on the docks of the Tahoe City Marina. We sat outdoors to enjoy the view. Service was good. I ordered the three sheets deluxe salad and loved it. It was portioned well and tasty. I left filled and satisfied. I don't drink but obviously they are know for their house-brewed craft beer. They also have live music so it seems like a great spot to come with family or friends. read more

I ordered this flight along with my meal while at Moe's BBQ. Online it says they're in the same building, but I didn't notice any separate brewery. My review for Moe's was posted separately. Yelp said my caption was too wordy, so I had to split it between the two pictures, but this is what was included in the flight: Top left: Yacht Rock Light Lager Top middle: Wit Dream Witbier Top right: Off Piste Pale Ale Bottom left: Blackberry Kolsch Bottom middle: Tripel 9.4% Bottom right: Koji Multiverse Sour Before I get into my feedback for each, just to put in context my favorite beers tend to be hazy IPAs, saisons, and sours. I tend to not like dark beers (porters/stouts) or super light beers. Now, Yacht Rock Light Lager was definitely light. To me it tasted like water with a little flavor added but not much. I wasn't a fan of this beer, which is consistent with my general preferences. This is one of the ones I did not continue to drink. Wit Dream Witbier was decent. It wasn't my favorite, but it was good enough that I finished the flight cup. Off Piste Pale Ale was decent. Not my favorite, but not bad. I also finished this one. Blackberry Kolsch was not good to me or my friend. The blackberry flavor tasted very artificial, and while normally tasting like medicine isn't a bad thing to me (because Robitussun tastes good to me), this was not a good tasting medicine. I did not continue to drink this one. The Tripel tasted too strong for me. I was not a fan, but my friend liked it and finished the flight cup. She thought it had a similar taste to Guinness even though it wasn't a very dark beer. I didn't catch a comparison, but regardless Guinness is not my first choice (sorry to my Irish roots ). Koji Multiverse Sour was both my and my friend's favorite. This is on par with my general taste because I like sours. The waiter was really nice to notice that I didn't want the others and asked if I wanted two more if something else. I ended up getting two more flight sizes of the sour because it was the best. I wouldn't get any of the others again, but I would get the sour again. read more

Maybe it was because they were just getting off the ground and moving into their new FABULOUS location, taking over the previous Moe's BBQ, that the food was a bit disappointing, and the beer did not delight. With room for improvement, I'd keep an eye on Three Sheets and its new location in the Tahoe City Marina. I expect we should put this in the summer to check out the list of new food around town. The outdoor ambiance should be a five star for sure. read more

Fantastic place for a birthday meal! The seafood pasta is the way to go. Incredible food, service, views, and beers. Food is pre-cooked and warmed up to serve. YUK!!! Ribs were cold with sauce poured over. The cooked greens were so salty they are not edible. Coleslaw is more like cabbage and vinegar salad. Will never eat at this place again read more

I recently found this place after Moe's Original BBQ closed and what a find it was! They happened to have live music that night and the vibe was incredible. Felt like I was back in the 80's-90's Tahoe days. Definitely what this town needs! Their own made beers and the ones from Ronin Brewing were great. Kudos to the brewmaster, owner and chefs. This place is not closed as Yelp states. It's open, and it's a shame that it is. Their idea of "seafood pasta" is a bowl of plain pasta with a big gray fishy chunk of ahi tuna on top and a single roughly chopped tomato. I wish I were exaggerating. Unfortunately, I'm not. Save your money. It was my birthday and I wanted a nice meal with my family. I saw a family with kids at one of the outdoor tables so figured it would be a good choice for us as we also have littles. What a bad decision. I regret spending so much money for such a disgusting meal. The waitress had a decent attitude but that was the ONLY good thing about the experience. read more

Everything! Very slow service. Five menu items not available.They tried to pass off what looked and tasted like Italian wedding soap as chili and burger served cold. I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled after the disturbing experience my friend and I had at this bar. The bartender who is tall, very long grayish beard and long curly grayish hair was incredibly creepy and made us both feel uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. He was overly flirtatious and wouldn't stop making inappropriate comments, even after we made it clear we weren't interested. It felt predatory--like...I understand that bartenders need to be friendly and engaging, but there's a fine line, and this guy crossed it. I won't be coming back, and I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior before it happens to anyone else.It's really disappointing because the food was good, but the overall experience was ruined by how uncomfortable he made us feel. Few things to keep in mind is that this place is not super visible when trying to find it near the waterfront so look for the BBQ restaurant and it'll be inside. However, you can sit outside and enjoy your drinks with a view! Service is decent and you can tell this place gets pretty busy especially during a football game day. Love that the outside is dog friendly and appreciate the turf grass and dog bowls. I can't rate this place by the food because we didn't eat here but I will say it smelled good. 2 of us arrived the afternoon of 7/24 and requested outdoor seating. While we were seated promptly, that was the only thing that was prompt. We were ignored for a solid 20 minutes and just upon deciding to walk out our server came outside, seemingly completely unaware we were even there. He apologized, took our drink and food orders. About 15 minutes later our overpriced but pretty good shrimp appetizer arrived (delivered by another staff member). We still had no drinks. We ate our entire appetizer before seeing our "server" again and informed him we were still waiting for our drinks. He retrieved them promptly but neither of us tasted a drop of alcohol . Over $60 for literal melted ice in a glass with a garnish to imply there was alcohol in the drink, and a handful of breaded shrimp. We could have gotten over that, but being completely disrespected and ignored by the staff (when there were only a handful of customers) is inexcusable. This was the worse place we visited in Tahoe. Other patrons at the table next to us seemed to be enjoying their food and they were being provided service by a waitress who we overheard saying it was her first day.
