Summer 2026

Great service. Good vibes. Solid food. Dog friendly! Husband and I visit Kings Beach throughout the Summer and enjoy visiting The Grid. We love their outside patio for our dog & we're able to sit back, relax, chat, & enjoy a few drinks. They have many screens outside and this past Summer they were showing the World Cup matches which was a great time. Their food is good and enjoyable. We love their buffalo wings, burgers & most recently I tried their shrimp tacos which were refreshing. A bit pricey - but it's Tahoe! Definitely recommend supporting this business. The service is always so welcoming, friendly and laid back!

Solid spot for a burger, drinks and good appetizers. No frills, just good and standard food. One standout is that the frozen cocktails look amazing. They seemed pretty popular, thought I didn't have a chance to try one. Definitely on my to-try list though! They make an ok Moscow mule, but it doesn't come in the classic copper mug, they serve it in a cocktail glass. Not great, not bad. My husband had a burger and I had a salad with Tri tip added. Pretty good, and a solid option. They provide a generous portion here. The burger would definitely be too big for me, but it looked delicious. We would come back for sure.

Hubs and I stopped after driving around. This place didn't disappoint. Laid back chill vibes is what we wanted and got. Southwest burger was spot on and so was the cheesesteak sandwich for the hubby. Cute waitress with spunky attitude and patrons coming in with dogs. All in all was a 10/10 experience. Thank you!

The Grid is a great sports bar in Kings Beach. It's the kind of place where you can grab a drink, catch the game, and settle in. The service was fast, and the chicken wings were a standout: saucy and glazed, with carrots and celery on the side. The patio overlooks Kings Beach's main drag, with a view of the lake through the pines. If you're looking for a quick bite and a cold drink near the lake, stop by!

We went to the Grid at half time of the Super Bowl. Needless to say the place was packed. There were even a few brave souls watching the game outside. We were able to wedge ourselves into some counter space but I wasn't expecting much since they are so busy. Well we were very happy with the level of service we received and the quality of the food. The servers were constantly roaming, making sure everyone is happy. The food came fast and was fresh and delish. As for a venue to watch the game, you can't ask for more. Every wall was covered with big screens. Basically every direction you face there is a screen in front of you. Great venue to take in games and enjoy some grub!

This place is pretty good. The wings tasted the way wings are supposed to taste. They were crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. Service is great because the staff are very friendly. Had a few other things on the menu. I'd like to try the back.

Divey bar with all the standard bar food munchies. The mozzarella sticks and onion rings are fine, the beers are great. The staff was quick to get you drinks, and food didn't take too long to get. The vibe is a sports bar basically with a ton of TVs inside and out, good place to catch the game.

Came here to watch some football games while we were in town for a trip. They were pretty busy and packed, but the energy was great and the locals were very friendly. A smaller bar & restaurant, but very cozy vibes. They had a good selection of cocktails, cocktails and shots. Good prices for their sizes. Food was pretty standard but tasty nonetheless. No complaints from our group!

Chorizo burrito, it comes with guacamole and sour cream on the side, tater tots or country potatoes choice

Food was very good, tasty, we had chicken and waffles and chorizo burrito from the breakfast special on weekends Service was excellent, considering they were short on staff, they seem to be managing the tables very good. Casual ambiance, we sat on the deck, overlooking the lake, there are some tvs for the sports fans , hope to get back while we still have good weather to sit outside , dog friendly !

We found The Grid on Yelp when we decided to drive over to Lake Tahoe for lunch. Our server was Brooke, (with an 'e'), and she took very good care of us. Although she seemed to be the only server on the deck, other employees were delivering drinks and food to the tables. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with coleslaw. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. And it was big! I brought half of it home along with the generous serving of coleslaw that was flavorful and had just the right amount of dressing. My hubby ordered the cheesesteak and fries. The meat was good but the cheese missed the mark. Now to the best part...the onion rings. They were so good, crunchy, big portion of onion and not greasy at all. We brought home more than half the order. We will definitely be returning to try out more menu items. Yummy!

Great vibes and fast service. Sat on the deck and ordered a few beers. Also tried the Buffalo wings which were very tasty.

I choose this restaurant because they had the beyond burger. It's kind of a dive but the food was good and the service was okay.

We met some longtime friends for dinner last night and it was relaxing and tasty! We started off with some robust drinks and apps! Ahi Napolean was the highlight with the BBQ/Spicy prawns coming in a close second. Three of us ordered the Lemongrass Ginger Brick Chicken and it was tender and juicy with just the right amount of Asian spices. We all raved YUMMY!! My wife had the Rack of Lamb which she enjoyed and I got to sneak a couple of bites...tender tasty. My friend's son had the Grilled Ribeye which was massive and oozing with juice. The Finale! Dessert is never an option with my Sicilian taste buds so Tiramisu and Pistachio Cheese Cake sedated and cleansed our palates! The overall dining experience was good as we sat outside on the patio with a perfect evening and no bugs in site! It was fairly busy and the servers were definitely having to add a couple of steps in their service. It's a beautiful spot almost on the lake and if you're a golfer, Old Brockway GC is a stunner and has some great history to go along with the perfect greens. Enjoy!

My husband and son got the burger which was boring, and my youngest wanted pasta with butter and marinara. The kids menu was confusing and we assumed it came with a side so we asked for veggies. When the bill came, we got charged $2 for the marinara and $7.50 for a side of veggies (2 pieces of cauliflower, 2 slices of squash and 1 broccolini). So his $10 kids meal ended up costing me $19.50. On top of that the hostess was incredibly rude.

Went for our annual summer dinner at Lanzas! Opens at 430…read moreand a crowd of people were already waiting to go inside for dinner! We sat in a packed bar and waited in line for a half hour for cocktails as there was only one bartender! So busy for a Tuesday evening but since it's summer it's to be expected! We put our name in for dinner right away and had just finished our cocktail when we were called to be seated. We were served warm bread and butter and ordered a carafe of house red wine. While we enjoyed that we looked at the menu but always order the same meal! I love the large meatballs which you get two with sauce. We enjoyed the salad and bread before our meals came. As always delicious! It was pretty noisy with a few big groups with kids but we enjoyed our yearly visit!

I had high hopes for this restaurant given its reputation. I have no doubt, reading the menu with…read moreMama Lanza's newspaper article from 1999, that at one point this was an authentic, quality restaurant. However, my current opinion stands as mediocre at best. Ambience is cozy and old-school, borderline needing a deep clean. I ordered the Lumaconi, it tasted fine. But one of the problems with this restaurant is how the food is plated and presented. You can see from most pictures that it lacks visual appeal. My sister ordered the lasagna. It was interesting that the meat inside was a sliced meatball. I don't know what to say about that. Lastly, my niece ordered Angel hair pasta. I would venture to guess that they boiled a whole box and dumped that same portion into her bowl. Way too much pasta and lacking balance with the few scattered tomatoes and protein, of what looked to be a boiled chicken breast. Wishing we could have visited here in its prime. If you visit, you definitely won't be dazzled, but it's possible that you might not be disappointed.
