I came in at 7:30 tonight to the 7-11 in dollar hill (I should mention I have lived up the street from this place all my life) I love all the new workers that come in, and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Tonight I entered in my debit card number wrong, the guy in the pictures got mad at me and said "only cash" I respectfully said, I'm sorry I entered my debit card number wrong (I switch between my husbands and I debit card) but he got so frustrated. So I gave him cash...as I was walking out I felt so hurt that he treated me so badly and turned around and said "you didn't need to be so rude about that, I'm in here once a week, please show me some kindness" well he lost it on me. He followed me out to my car, was saying derogatory things to me and tried to film my license plate number. This is me filming him back, while he tried to...honestly I don't know what he was trying to do. I have the footage on my phone, and I would like to speak to the owner about this guy. I love 7-11 and it has always been a staple in our lives, we just live up the road...but this guy was so mean and lost it when I confronted him. I'm a woman in my 30's and I guarantee he would not have treated me that way if I had been with husband. I have all the footage on my phone, and I encourage the owner to check his cameras around 7:30 on Nov 22. This is not a safe guy to be working, he is scary and I have the footage with sound on my phone.

It's weird finding a 7-11 in this part of town. Next to a B&B and a bunch of other lodges. The lone staff was warm and gracious. Clean store. Organized aisle and packed with basic stuff that we needed.

A good convenience store with lots of options and good slurpees! The employees are nice and I find myself going here often for a snack.

She did mention she might be a bit biased since she works in the kitchen, but she was completely right: the food was outstanding. We ordered two burgers, a salad, and an appetizer to share among four people. The portions were very generous and incredibly satisfying. We usually prefer to restaurant-hop and have dessert somewhere else, but the meal was so good that we decided to stay and try dessert as well. While it wasn't quite as impressive as the rest of the food, it was still enjoyable and ended up being the perfect choice since it wasn't overly heavy after such a filling meal. A special mention goes to our waitress, Erin, who was excellent. She was attentive, efficient, and incredibly on top of everything. I always appreciate when a server checks in at the right moment to ask whether you'd like the bill or want to order anything else, and Erin handled everything seamlessly. She got us in and out quickly without ever making us feel rushed.

It was not an insignificant amount of money for both consumer and business so I did appreciate the generous gesture from the team. While I won't get that milestone celebration back, I'm glad that there was some professionalism and accountability towards improving for the next guest...!

This pizza is damn good, affordably priced, and you'd be doing yourself a real favor coming here,…read moreso just put it on the list now and thank me in your review later. Mountain Slice was recommended on day 1 by our hotel, and after two days of trying to convince the kids pizza was on the menu (go figure), we came in after a day of adventuring around Tahoe City. It turned out to be their last day of business for the season, so selections were more limited but staff spirits were high and the service was 100% on point, as they cruised towards a total sell out. It was pretty exciting realizing we scored one of the last whole pies available for months. Half cheese and half sweet pig. The 'Faba was a close second, but the call of the candied peppered bacon was too strong to ignore, and I'm glad we listened! The dough has a great flavor and they cook it to a really nice crispy doneness. The toppings are all in proportion, the cheese is salty and tangy, and the sauce adds a nice sweetness to it all. Seriously solid za! I'm excited to have a few pieces parked in the freezer!

It's busy and loud and super casual, but we got our wonderful slices within 4 minutes and my kids were thrilled to learn to play shuffle board there. I liked that the pizza had a little bit of crisp to the bottom. If you order something not by the slice, plan on waiting 15-15+ min for it. We ordered the "garlic chips", which was this ridiculously huge pizza with no sauce and just garlic and cheese. Kids delight! Be prepared to sit at a long long picnic table with other people. There are also some marijuana referenced shirts/album covers (I can't remember what specifically) that I didn't really enjoy my kids being around. All in all we will def return for quick pizza and shuffle board. They also have an ice cream place attached!

If a patron tells you they lost their credit card it's likely they're in distress. And if someone is looking unhappy (or just seems that way) it could simply be that circumstances "caught up to them" on that one or two days you saw them in your store. Treating them like shit because they're in trouble is aweful in my opinion. Just one person there doing that, but she seems to be everywere there. Definitely not cool. Not the owner/manager. That person seems very professional, efficient and smart. Great place, but don't expect to think they care about you even if you spend a lot of money and keep to yourself. Not all of us are able to relax and have fun. Some of us, through no fault of our own, are in need of food and a break and a place to figure our next moves. It's not our fault that you are the only place nearby with food and internet!

From the moment I ordered, the barista was blunt, unfriendly, and gave very little eye contact. I ordered an iced Americano with a splash of nonfat milk, and his only response was, "2%?" I had to ask if he meant that was the only option before he clarified. No apology or explanation, just minimal communication. He also never asked for my name. After hearing another customer's name called, I asked a different barista how I would know when my drink was ready. While she was answering me perfectly fine, he called over from about five feet away, "Well, we're going to call out your exact drink order. Your drink's not ready." I wasn't asking why my drink wasn't ready. I was asking how I would know which was mine. His response was rude and condescending, especially when his lack of communication created the confusion in the first place. My friend then ordered an iced chai and was given a hot one. He made the excuse that he had ridden a motorcycle for an hour and was having trouble hearing. That made very little sense considering he had just heard and inserted himself into my conversation from five feet away, yet apparently couldn't hear my friend standing directly in front of him. If his hearing was genuinely that impaired, taking customer orders and then using it as an excuse for getting them wrong was extremely frustrating. Our drinks were also subpar, service was slow, and the entire experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. Everyone has bad days, but if that was the issue, he probably should have stayed home or worked making drinks rather than taking orders in such a customer-facing position. Otherwise, he may be better suited stocking shelves overnight at Walmart where customer interaction isn't part of the job. We all left genuinely disappointed and with no desire to return.
