Yes yes yes as you all know I love coffee especially ice coffee. Tonight my hubby and I with our dog Zev took a community walk of course wearing ours masks. I wanted an ice coffee. I went into the 7 Eleven, noting a cool machine making brew ice coffee. So what the heck I tried and it was awesome. Strong brew coffee giving me that good flavor. The guy working there gave me a discount off his app which was very cool, now I downloaded it. I will be back to this location, thanks all for your work durning the covid crisis, be safe and healthy. read more

On the whole hate to see a 7 Eleven in the city, considering there are many independent bodegas that they take away business from. (For full disclosure, I'm grew up a Wawa fan and wouldn't be as bothered if they opened up in the city, given the quality of the food and real Philly rectangular soft pretzels there - a much better experience.) Had received a promotion for a drink on 7 Eleven's app and had been walking around Park Slope, so decided to check it out and grab a Big Gulp. It did smell like chocolate chip cookies baking when I came in, but you had to pass the disgusting rotating hot dogs and other gross food under heat lamps. There were limited zero sugar items in the Big Gulp fountain, so opted for a Brisk Peach Green Tea No Calorie. Not sure where the color of the drink came from, but that's OK. I was sweaty and needed something cool, so it sufficed... but if there wasn't the promotion, I'd go anywhere else. 7 Eleven just doesn't compare to the fresh stuff at Wawa! read more

7-Eleven - All bottles are empty all the time. - Convenience Stores Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I would not recommend this place I've been a customer at this particular 7-11 for several years now. Customer service here is one of the worst I've ever had, especially from the manager or the owner, skinny tall guy . It happened to me a couple times where I use the cappuccino machine and it stops working Then he comes and says the machine is perfectly working meanwhile, the coffee has no coffee but milk, then when he tested the machine turns to be broken or something wrong with it. Instead of saying, sorry or apologizing, i get a nasty attitude from him every time. In this establishment they don't even know what smile is. read more

My kids were with a group of friends today that walked (in the rain) at 2:00 today to participate in today's slushee promotion and despite there being a poster of the slushee event next to the machine, the attendant said they could not use their own cups. They forced the group of kids to use the standard cups the store provides. Not only was this false advertising, this is discrimination and racial profiling towards this group of kids. read more

I like making my own coffee and I love this place for allowing me to do that. Sometimes you want french vanilla creamer w/ cinnamon bun creamer for an extra yummy coffee kick. My one compliment is if I want the ready to go cappuccino, there is never any in the machine. Staff please get that together...like NOW!! I can't make any other complaints when i know my Large coffee is always $2.09! read more

The manager guy is pretty much a loser who yells if you take a few straws.( mind you , i go in there a lot) Unless you want to deal with this pitbull of a face manager, I'd simply skip and go to another 7/11. It's pathetic to see a grown man yelling about straws. Get a life read more

what can i say, cause i cant say no to 711 in park slope so its time to walk in and enjoy. i really dont see the upper middle class yuppies pushing the pricey baby stroller around park slope grabbing a slurpee or big gulp or stomach turning hot dog but thats cool cause 711 was made for me and folks like me. while in the slope i visited the local 711 and got me my brain freeze cold slurpee but passed on the tummy turning dog but the post and lottery tickets is a yes. a basic 711 with the typical a to z of stuff for you and me , and as always the dude beyond the counter does his job with little or no talking which i prefer. overall a good decent 7-11 in a liberal quiet part of brooklyn. read more

I don't know if it's the owner or manager of the store, but he will literally follow you around and hang over the counter to watch you. I've gone to this 7 eleven a number of times and this man still stalks me like I'm going to rob the place. I take a bit longer when picking a snack because I have a ton of food allergies and this man makes for the most uncomfortable and rushed experience. I stopped going there and so did all my friends for this reason. read more

So you don't want to go to 7-Eleven because you support local bodegas, don't buy your coffee and cigarettes from the corporate "man," preferring the general struggle involved with lack of credit card machines and poorly spoken english? That's fine. However, there's absolutely nothing more satisfying than drinking till 4am in the morning, stumbling into a brightly lit beacon of hope, downing three taquitos, and purchasing a few Budweiser Select tall cans to further your night till sunrise. This place sells beer and cigarettes 24 hours a day! There is never a moment in time that you ever have to ever think past your momentary impulses. You never have to plan ahead. They don't even have keys to the locks because it never closes! Loss of one star because of the very strange, very distinct smell. Sorta like the breath an old lady who's fallen asleep while eating a coffee cake and the crumbs have gotten all over her shirt as a stream of drool runs down her neck. Don't care for that. Also, the employees are incredibly nice. Like, maybe even a little too nice. Enough to make you feel possibly a little uncomfortable. I really just want to buy my floor mat sized rice crispy treats with out the shame of actually interacting with a real human. But, however, generally the cheeriness of the clerks, though confusing, is a nice gesture. Also, they have the best pizza in Brooklyn. read more

What can I say about 7-Eleven? I hadn't been to one in about 20 years until recently. I couldn't find a parking space within a block if Aikido of Park Slope and ended up going in here for my coffee. Typical layout, no surprises until I saw multiple coffee blends. Guatemala Blend is now my regular pick. Staff is polite and attentive at this store. Have been going there every Saturday and Sunday for about 3 weeks now. read more

GUYS. How long has Park Slope needed a 7-Eleven? Please seriously sit yourself down and have a self-chat about this question. *But* ask it as you leave Commonwealth or some other Slope bar at 3 a.m. and are in desperate, pathetic need of honey roasted cashews, warm cookies, a bottle of water and a place that will take your credit card. Yes, your card. Hypothetically, let's say you still don't carry (enough) cash. Then the amazing, borderline magical 7-Eleven comes along and it's practically your mirage in what seems like a barren Brooklyn desert. Just sayin'. read more

Is it a good thing or a bad thing when the big guys come into areas dominated by the typical Brooklyn bodegas? Unfortunately for the neighborhood (and my conscience), it seems to be a good thing. The pros definitely outweigh the cons: Pros: -Air conditioning -A ridiculous amount of air conditioning -5+ kinds of coffee with all sorts of sweeteners and milk/cream options for about a buck -Free chili and cheese on those hot dogs -A citibank ATM in the south slope!!! -2 slurpee machines Cons: -Horrible beer selection -Not explaining what "The Incredible Hulk" flavored slurpee is supposed to taste like. read more

The 7-Eleven sits on 5th Ave like a bright, shiny, paragon of Slurpee dispensing hope. Let's just be honest here, this is the spot you stumble into when you've had 4 or 5 too many and decide that you just have to have that one item that ends up being a terrible idea the next morning. Maybe it's a taquito, maybe it's candy, or chips, or a Slurpee. It doesn't really matter because you know you're going to enjoy the hell out of it and regret it horribly tomorrow. And, frankly, 7-Eleven is a perfect spot to fulfill that need. This particular store always strikes me as unnaturally clean relative to many of the other 5th Ave bodegas and the cashiers have always been attentive and nice. I mean, I don't really know what else I could reasonably expect of a 7-Eleven. It's clean, provides good service and is stocked with plenty of "good idea now, bad idea tomorrow" goods. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. So many times I walk into this place and it's a complete mess (especially the slushies) with often odd staff. The location makes it so easy for me to grab snacks or alcohol when I'm in a rush, but the place in general always feels a bit sketchy/dirty... I guess it is what it is... read more

This location is a joke. I was just accused of lying about getting cash back in this store. I informed the cashier when I approached the register that I needed cash back therefore I would be ringing my two items separately. She says OK rings my first item my transaction processes but it does not give me the option to take cash back. When I asked her what happened she tells me that they have never done cash back at that store which I know for a fact is not true as I have gotten cashback there in the past. She told me that I was lying about being able to cash back, which was the first thing that baffled me. I then asked to return the item that I had bought and she tried to tell me that I would have to come back to do the return because she couldn't do it. I will never give business to this location ever again. Neither should anyone else read more

I'm one of the loyal 7-Eleven faithful, but this place gives the chain a terrible reputation. I walked in this morning, jonesing for my morning Hazelnut coffee fix and was immediately in trouble. Clerk 1 was busy on his cell with what was obviously an important phone call, due to his absolute indifference to my appeal for assistance. Hopefully it was his oncologist with bad news. Clerk 2 was busy chatting up a dreadlocked troll who was busy using her buttocks as goalie pads for the coffee bar. When I finally got past Mamma Brodeur, I made my coffee and went to pay Clerk 2, who tried to charge me $2.19 for a Large coffee. Now it was already 9:00 am and I'd been working for 4 hours sans caffeine, so I would probably have given my left testicle had it been requested, but all the bullshit I'd dealt with to this point made me ask why so expensive? I was told that I was using a "designer" cup and it was $.25 extra. It was on the tip of my tongue to argue that there were no "generic" cups available, but the yummy hazelnut goodness was singing to me and I relented. I did however slip a handful of Splenda packets in my pocket. Suck on that coffee boy! read more

I have no idea why, but I have a thing for 7-11s! I love them. When I used to live in NJ, I had "my" 7-11, even though it was one town over and I had one near me. There's just something I love about 7-11s! I guess since I am always awake, having somewhere to get food any time of the day takes a big place in my heart (and my belly!) This 7-11 is pretty great since it has some decent burritos for real cheap! Other microwave burritos in the area are generally about $1 more and no where near as big! And, I guess being an NJ resident this is new to me, but they have beer there as well! EVEN better! This 7-11 is totally my jump off for food when I come home from Manhattan at 4am and I'm dying for some cheap food. Bless you 7-11! read more

It's just another 7-11. I used to go there frequently but I incidentally bought a Monster from them that looked to have mold on top on it. I did not notice it in the store but as soon as I opened it outside it was as clear as daylight. I immediately went back in to show the store clerks, and ask the manager for a different can - he told me there was nothing he could do about it because no one is gonna refund HIM for the can I purchased. This isn't a bad store as much as the manager is an idiot. It's a 3 star at best, but I gotta take it down a notch for the experience I has read more

My five stars are for : 1) Proximity to my life 2) 24 hours (In college I lived a block from a 7-11 that actually opened at 7am and closed at 11pm. So whack.) 3) Great selection - Slurpees, magazines, random crap, sweets, and.... 4) Cheapest gallons of milk in the hood, with ways to go before expiring, and unlike bodegas, they have 1%. The prices are amazing all-around. 5) The nicest, friendliest convenience store staff I have ever encountered. At bodegas, a lot of times the counter guys are on the phone and glare at you like they are doing you a favor by ringing up your (usually way overpriced) goods. No more of that. read more

Look, I'm from the South originally and though I've lived in New York for over four years now, there are some things that I just really do enjoy from my days driving the eight-lane highways, having my own house and not having roommates. And one of those things is gas stations. Don't ask me why I love gas stations so much, but put me in a Streetz or a Flying J and I'm a happy camper. This new 7-11 isn't a gas station, but it's got the same vibe (I agree wholeheartedly with Jeff in regards to the air conditioning) but the thing I love most about it is the Big Gulp. Oh, I'm a fan of Diet Coke. And I know it's horrible for me. But when I'm coming home from the gym on a sticky summer night, I'll pop into the 7-11, fill me up 44 oz of diet brown goodness and slurp the sweet taste of freedom all the way home. And when I'm drunk the taquitos are great. read more

I am thankful for this 7-Eleven because: 1) It sells my favorite Andy Capp's Hot Fries, which are pretty difficult to find anywhere else. 2) Open forever, which means I come here every now and then when I'm ashamed to show my face at nearby Joe's Pizza of the Village after too many nights out in a row. 3) Free slurpees every July 11, duh! read more

It's a 711. The people working are friendly. Nothing I buy would be any different from store-to-store, so I can't critique it for coffee. Although my the few times I decided to get some junk, I bought Big Bite hot dogs. They were warm, but the condiment bar was a disaster. Sloppy, out of most ingredients, hot cheese sauce/chili machine was empty and spilled all over the counter. It was late in the evening, so I can assume it was just left until the next shift, but that's no excuse, when would you guess most people come in to buy hot dogs anyway? Otherwise, I have no complaints or problems to think of. read more

Hey,what happened? Used to frequent you,out of convenience, you've changed. I am free, happy and moved on. Coffee, is weak, and makes me sick. Seriously, I noticed a trend. It's nice to be close to a 7-11 again! Yay! Slurpees and all that fun stuff. There's really not much to say, but I did spend a lot of my formative years near a 7-11, so I guess it's just comforting to know it is there for me when I need it. Like 4am. read more

7-Eleven is in Park Slope! YAY! Ok, I am stoked about this new 7-Eleven location. It's open 24 hours and you can get Trolli gummy worms here and a cherry coke slurpee at any hour of the day. I can't wait for summer - I think I will be getting a slurpee quite often. read more

Unlike other major chains that come into the neighborhood (I'm looking at you Atlantic Center Target), the 7-11 has done a great job of being well-stocked, clean, and staffed by people that are actually pleasant to deal with, even after being open a few weeks! Judging by the empty containers I see up and down 5th Ave, the hot dogs and sausages seems bizarrely popular, and to be honest, they actually look decent in the store. Only minor gripes I have are that it always seems that whichever slurpee flavor I want is never ready when I'm there, and they could use a little more variety when it comes to frozen treats. Bonus points for having a Citi ATM which saves me the trip to 7th Ave and President to skip the $3 fees at other places around here. read more

great local convience store...it has all the means to serve you a great time...the selection is great...I went in there looking to get peanuts and they had 3 different kinds to choose from! can you believe it? This place is a last resort. Not that the surrounding convenience stores are that much better. The employees are all pretty much interchangeable. Although, the slovenly appearing 7-11 manager will turn your stomach. After he mistook me for someone else, I deftly avoided his filthy attempt to touch me. Then again, maybe he was just drunk. You would have to be to work there or eat anything there. Like I said, it's a last resort when you're willing to limit your beer options to Coors and Natural Ice. They are staying open during Hurricane Sandy and that alone gets my vote. One stop shopping for all my candy needs.

I recently dined at this fairly new restaurant in Park Slope called 7-11. I'd been meaning to try it ever since it opened and finally had a free night to treat myself to a good dinner. Being the busy man that I am, I opted for take-out...seemed a good decision as the seating appeared limited and the lighting did nothing for the restaurant's ambiance. The waitstaff was very friendly and professional, and helped me decide between the Chicken and Cheese Taquito and the Nachos. I opted for the Taquito (good choice!), which was served buffet style... slow roasted to crispy perfection. I complemented the Taquito with 7-11's very own Cherry-Lime Slurpee. This, I might ad, was the highlight of my dining experience. I would have gladly ordered either the Cherry or the Lime flavors were they offered separately, but the combination of both? Exquisite. The bold flavors were matched with just the slightest effervescence and quiet, subtle notes of sweet flavor (bubblegum?) I will most definitely be returning to 7-11 in the near future, I can't wait to try out their winter Taquito menu! read more
