I swear coming to this store is a gift in a curse. On the positive there is an ample parking lot where you can always find a spot so you can come and do your shopping without stressing about tickets. On the other hand, you have to deal with employees that are either super nice and aloof or slightly passive aggressive, AKA wrong and strong. Usually I can get all the items that I need at this location, but it's also difficult to find it in the place that it would be in another location, coupled with long lines, the online order feature is quite attractive. Today I came to pick up my curbside order, as usual at this location no less, and I followed the prompts from the email that I was sent letting me know my order was ready. After waiting 10 minutes I called the store and was told by an employee that they don't offer curbside pick up. When? What are you talking about? I just went inside made sure my order was correct and left. I will definitely call a manager to verify whether this is the case or not. They definitely threw off my time schedule, tuh (kisses teeth ) read more

I've been a customer at this location for years and have had a recurring issue that I want to document publicly: when I call the pharmacy, I'm put on hold and then the call is disconnected. This has happened multiple times, not once or twice. Each time I've tried calling back, the same thing happens. When I do manage to get through or show up in person, the staff are dismissive and rude -- not in a "having a bad day" way, but consistently, across multiple visits and interactions. Basic questions are met with impatience, and there's no sense that they view patients as people who actually need their medication. The other pattern I've experienced repeatedly: I receive a notification that my prescription is ready for pickup, I make the trip, and I'm told to come back in 30 minutes, a few hours, or sometimes not until next week. No explanation, no apology. If the prescription isn't ready, don't send the notification. It's that simple. The combination of unreachable phones, inaccurate ready notifications, and dismissive staff makes this location genuinely unreliable for anything time-sensitive. I've since filed a complaint with Walgreens corporate and would encourage others with similar experiences to do the same (1-800-925-4733). If you have a routine prescription that requires zero coordination, maybe. If you ever need to actually speak to someone or rely on accurate information, look elsewhere. read more

I advise you only come here unless you absolutely must. Unfortunately the other reviews are all accurate. The prices are high. They are understaffed and overworked. Everything useful is locked up which means you have to press one of the buttons (which aren't in every aisle) or go on a search for an employee who's not at a cash register. Not a pleasant shopping experience. Can't speak for the pharmacy but hope that's better. read more

At the beginning it was all polite but then I was not able to pick up my refills on time Always gave me a hard time to pick upy refills. Why all Walgreens's pharmacy are like that. read more

It's truly....the absolute worst. No items, slowwwwww staff, and constant problems with computers & payment.

I travel 45 minutes to Walgreen's only for them to tell me they don't take my insurance and I can't get the covid shot even if I pay out of pocket. I made an appointment for a covid booster and flu shot a week in advance. I filled out everything online they asked me to fill out at the time I made the appointment. They were not helpful, I didn't get the medical care I needed, and they wasted my whole morning. I would give 0 stars if I could. Ok, now I'm back on the subway for 45 minutes to get home with nothing to show for it. Thanks a lot, Walgreen's! read more

The staff was slow and unhelpful, with a great deal of disorganization in the store. My passport photos were incorrectly printed and cut.

Slow, filthy, and rude. Last time I was in, the pharmacist spent over an hour putting in my prescription called in from the doctor. I called before I came in, so she actually had over 3 hours, all told. She seemed to forget what she was doing sometimes while she was "entering my prescription," then wander over to the register to talk to the clerk or put in a coupon code for the clerk. This is all during Covid 19, and all I want to do is get out of there. Then she pulled her mask down and left it down for the time I was there, so she could talk over it. WTH, healthcare professional? Calling in now for a delivery, and I've been on hold for an hour and 10 minutes now. Pretty sure they just closed. What a nightmare having to depend on this place for matters of health. read more

Walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

This place is a literal nightmare. Dirty, shelves half-stocked, and a pharmacy that doesn't answer the phone. I waited over an hour on hold a - long enough for me to walk to the pharmacy and show the person at the counter that I was still on hold as I listened to their phone ring off the hook. What if somebody desperately needed their medication and needed help? A disgrace. Give your business to a local pharmacy. read more

I hate that this is my closest location. Absolutely a terrible experience every time I visit this location. Extremely slow service at the pharmacy department every time! 20-30 min waits on line are completely normal at this location and it is absolutely sad. Aisles are always depleted of products. Days of non stocked shelves and if you are lucky enough to find the product on the shelves, they are messy. read more

Terrible. Always a very long line. Super slow!!!! Pharmacist takes forever and is very rude. When her replacement is there, there is no line. read more

The line was around the damn store in this store. But everyone was patient, and they were moving as fast as they could. The cashiers were all nice as well. All welcoming and assisting. It's the holiday season, so I'm not expecting too much. All in all, go in the daytime when people are working. It seems ghat after 5pm, it gets crazy. read more

I literally created a yelp to review this place. People who gave more than 1 star must know the owner. I've been to 100s of pharmacy and convenient stores and this place is truly the crown jewel. They check every box: Understaffed? Check (comically so) Impressively Disorganized? Check (at no time have I ever been able to checkout in less than 30 min Random and unpredictable hours? Check Limited Supplies? Check A pharmacy that functions at the absolute baseline of existence? Check (they never answer the phone, your prescription is never ready when they say it is. I've spent HOURS and HOURS there) I absolutely refuse to go back into the place and if I truly needed something from them, I'd rather just starve. At least it wouldn't waste my time. read more

These people at this store are very rude and disgusting. My blind father purchased a gift card and they gave him the wrong one and I tried to rectify the situation and was met with hostility. Imagine being that hostile in an environment that's not even worth it! read more

The pharmacy departures a total disappointment The hospital sent a prescription, and 5 days later I still don't have the medicIne. I called, put on hold for 30 minute. No resolve. read more

One of the worst branches in the city. The shelves are routinely understocked, so you're lucky if you find anything you're looking for. Not that it matters anyway, because even if you do find it, everything on the shelves is behind locked plastic doors. Good luck finding someone who can open them for you, because this branch is extremely understaffed. I can't tell you how many times there's been only one or two registers open while there's an enormous checkout line. The pharmacy doesn't fare much better. They have routinely screwed up my prescriptions and insurance billing, which means I have to constantly try to call them. Usually, I'm on hold for 20+ minutes and then hung up on, which forces me to call again and go back to the end of the line. Every trip there, and every interaction with the pharmacy, is an exercise in frustration. This space on St. Johns used to be a Rite Aid. It wasn't great, but it was a thousand times better than this Walgreens. read more

i asked for method body body wash and this worker looked me up and down and when i got the wash and said thank you , no response, horrible service. read more

This pharmacy is absolutely awful. They completely ignored my prescription after my doctor sent it in. Then I tried to call several days in a row, failing to get through at any point. (I once was on hold for over an hour before I gave up.) I would also note that this seems to be a new thing. I've called in the past, as recently as a month ago, and did not have any trouble getting through to someone. When I showed up in person to ask about my medication (because, as I said, I could not get anyone on the phone) I was told it would be ready in a few hours. When I returned a few hours later, I was informed that they didn't have the medication in stock at all and would need to order it. It's been four days and I have heard absolutely nothing (and the online status still says "delayed" with no further information.) I'm asking my doctor to send my prescription to a different pharmacy. Don't go here. read more

This pharmacy is pretty good. They answer the phone pretty quickly. They fill prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time. The lines aren't long when I go there. The only real issues I have is the website is really hard to understand and is always saying wrong information about my prescriptions on it. Also Walgreens calls me too much about my prescriptions. The automated calls every time they try to bill the insurance are annoying. read more

Always nice and friendly. The new staff is great, wish I didn't have insurance change and could keep shopping there.

Not recommended. I showed up to pick up a prescription and handed them my new insurance card. They told me they had already billed my old, expired insurance without my permission, and were unable to cancel it. As a result I could not pick up my medication. Now I'm just hoping I don't get a bill for meds I didn't even receive. read more

Well , there's 1 pharmacist who is consistently rude and I have been blessed not to have to deal with her again since February. For some reason they keep her on like she's the best and her attitude is clearly lackluster, she is rude to everyone. Her last words to me stated she's not going to lose her job because of something she could not figure out & when the clarification was made she didn't even correct her mistake. I wish her well for the future .. funny she's in the picture above , ha I wish her well. Everyone else is rather cool.. read more

Horrible. Nearly impossible to get a prescription filled, and they act like youre bothering them or wasting their time for even asking "Why can't it be filled?" or how to fix it so you CAN get it filled. sh**iest walgreens known to man. Avoid getting prescription refills here. They have f**ked me over multiple times and do what they want here. The pharmacy at this location is a total nightmare! On several occasions I have attempted to call the pharmacy to check the status of prescriptions to no avail. I am disabled so it is difficult for me walk, although I am nearby. So getting to the pharmacy only to find out my prescriptions aren't ready is excruciatingly difficult. If I could get thru on the phone it would save a lot of headache. Every time I call i am on hold indefinitely. This is poor management and is unacceptable for a store as busy as this location. I am forced to travel outside of my neighborhood just to get prescriptions. Very sad situation! Something needs to be done asap. read more

Pharmacy from hell. Constant medication delays. They tell you to come pick up your meds and you get there and tell you they don't have them. Had auto refill set up for one of my meds and had to skip a day because of how long it took. Do not go here. Go to any other pharmacy. Literally there is a Walgreens in Fulton that you can take the bus to that is better. Their negligence should be criminal. read more

I was trying to help my son who was unable to get to the drugstore which is literally only 3 blocks away. I live across the country and had no way to help my sick son other than to get a delivery from the nearest drugstore I had to go through POSTMATES service to get the items delivered. It was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had in my life. Here we are in the height of Covid-19 pandemic and my son has a fever and is told to self-isolate, He is not sick enough to go to the hospital. He has no family nearby and he needed tylenol and other things to treat his symptoms. He needed some food items as well as he cannot go grocery shopping so I ordered and PAID FOR 150.00 worth of medicines, fluid drinks, soups and other things he needed. I ordered on a Saturday night and scheduled delivery for the next morning. The delivery was set for 9am At noon I called Walgreens only to be put on hold for 30 minutes!! I called 3 other times and no one would answer the line. I contacted by email POSTMATES on their web HELP platform wherein You get a notice saying they would take72 hours to get back to you. I did get a return email from customer service stating the delivery would be on the way soon that was around 1PM.... It was delayed and delayed for 5 more hours..at 6 PM Finally someone arrives and leaves at the doors a bag with only 20% of what was ordered. I PAID $150.00 for items that added up to $30.00. I tried to call POSTMATES since the WALGREENS store never answers their phone calls and leaves customers on hold forever. POSTMATES HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE # I went back to the postmates help button and a pop up message said you cannot make another customer service request or help request! Because I had made an inquiry about the late delivery. It was late at night and i had to scrounge around to find another drugstore that would deliver. I finally got him the meds he needed I was exhausted and the next day I contacted POSTMATES for a refund on the items Not Received.I got a response a day later stating they needed the details of the items in o rder to rectify. I sent that and got a RUDE reply from BRYSON COOK stating they will not refund me. But they are giving me 10.00 credit towards future purchases!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THEY STOLE FROM A MOTHER TRYING TO GET MEDICINE TO HER SICK SON. UNCONSCIONABLE! read more

This place is awful. They put you on hold and don't come back. Sometimes they hang up on you. They take forever to complete simple tasks and often times do not even attempt to do them. This place is the absolute worst line is wrapped around store and if I didn't need my medicine I would have left 1 hr in line is not acceptable read more

A great location if you love rude service, terrible attitudes, and waiting 3 weeks for your medication refills! I understand that their pharmacy is behind because they've been doing vaccines but they should tell their customers that instead of saying their medications are ready and then being rude to us when we show up asking for them & they say they're not ready. I've never had more problems with a pharmacy and the other customers in line with me concurred! It's incredibly dangerous to take so long to refill people's medications. Also, when did it become okay to speak to customers with such disdain and attitude? Horrible horrible location read more

Should update to say that the pharmacy here is trash too. The staff is nice enough but they are overwhelmed and it results in miserable customer service. This whole store is beyond terrible. Just close and open up literally anything else in its place. read more

Absolutely awful service. I had scheduled a tetanus shot appointment, but when I went there they couldn't find my appointment. I showed them the confirmation number but they still seemed confused and had me wait 20 minutes with no line. Such a mess and the people working there should be fired. read more

If I could give half a star, or no stars...It isn't like the Rite Aid that was in this location before was all that great, but that store was relatively clean and the shelves were reliably stocked with items that everyone in the neighborhood actually wanted to buy. The transition to Walgreen's has been absolutely terrible. The store is a mess and there are always long lines, either at the front, or winding around the back of the store, if you are unfortunate enough to have selected this store to fill a prescription. My spouse finally gave up using them after they forgot to fill multiple prescriptions. Thanks, Walgreen's for taking a halfway decent neighborhood pharmacy and replacing it with this travesty. read more

Only 1 star because its required otherwise ZERO!!! Don't bother to come here....DON'T call in your prescriptions because they will screw it up. Walgreens Managements needs to provide more staff for this location because the pharmacy mgr said they're lacking hrs and staff to do a good job. Imagine NOT getting a call when something is wrong with your prescription..Imagine them taking all day to get things done..THIS IS THE reality here. It's my neighborhood pharmacy and I rather trek to the city for my prescription because EVERY time I come here there is a screw up. Walgreens..is it the neighborhood why you don't care? Why do you treat your customers in such a horrible manner. At this point..you should just shut down because no matter what..you're not providing the bare minimum service like other stores. THIS IS A HORRIBLE DISGUSTING, Ill equipped and neglected store. Who's the regional manager and territory manager...obviously no one who cares because this neglect is constant and seems intentional. Folks, let's band together and demand better service and adequate service...OR take our dollars elsewhere! That's my plan because I'm done complaining. Doesn't matter if you respond to the survey or call the manager...they're all complicit. DO better walgreens..you do in many other locations! read more
