I went to 605 auto April 1st and was greeted immediately by JR. He was kind, professional and helpful the whole way through. I told him the vehicle I was interested in and was handed the keys to look at it and then test drive. I never once felt pressured by him or like he was right on my back which was very nice and reassuring that this was a place of integrity. The price was below blue book. I still being me wanted to think about it. The following day I knew I didn't want to pass it up so I headed out early morning arriving at 9. They weren't open but Rigo chose to open since I was there. Again blown away by the warm greeting along with professional and never once pressuring me as we went over the price and then getting things taken care of. In between this time JR came in and assisted some and we chatted some. Then I met Alex another salesman there who was just as kind. I tripped and laughed stating to him that I'm not a morning person and hadn't had my coke yet. We chatted some. Again very nice guy and he ended up going to the liquor store and bringing me my first ever Mexican coke!! I'm telling you I don't know what people are talking about in the negative reviews because I chatted outside business with all these men and all were kind and professional and you could also see their unity and positive atmosphere. After departing I spoke to them about a minor problem I noticed and they without hesitating said come on in tomorrow and we will have it fixed for you. I purchased the car as is with no extended warranty. To me that is beyond exceptional service and I would gladly go to them again to purchase next time around and most definitely recommend anyone looking for a car with a no pressure and positive experience to go here. Warning Warning Warning Stay Away! True rating: 5 negative black and rotting stars. Warning! This is the very last place on Earth that you want to do business with. No matter how desperately you need a car, this is still not the place to shop. I very mistakenly bought my car here two years ago, it has been one repair nightmare after another. It started with the service engine light - I brought it back to have it fixed. they kept my car for two days and 30 minutes after I got it back the engine light came back on and has been on ever since. they tossed another old part into a box and told me that was my old part but then later another mechanic (very reputable) told me that that part did not come from my car. I have spent $4000 in trying to repair this problem in my car and it is still not fixed. hey signed an agreement with me stating they would be financially responsible for the source problem of this issue but refuse to fix this car. They took 4 months to get me my plates and registration. I have tried to go through Bureau of Automotive Repair to get assistance with my smog and was declined because 605 Auto Sales caused a 120 day lapse in registration,. Now I am facing thousands of dollars to repair this car for smog. Additionally, they sold me this car with no spare tire and again kept telling me to come back and they would give me one, they never would. The manager Mr. Cologne (at least at that time) ran like the wind every time he saw me coming. The staff in the office would hide behind closed doors pretending they were "busy" and leave people standing in the lobby for long periods of time waiting to be helped - help is the last thing they do. The mechanic manager is rude and condescending, he laughs in your face when you try to explain the problems and then has the b@!!s to tell you its your own fault. Every time I drive past there I get angry all over again. I would love to rally everyone on this review page together to picket there lot until they pay up. My husband and I came to this establishment over the weekend and basically were told that a credit union would be the "better" option for us and them when it comes to financing. I submitted my application with our credit I union and got pre-approval and have a down payment ready to do. I got a call saying someone wanted the car we picked which was a silver Nissan Rogue S, and was told if I wanted it to put $200 down as a hold deposit. I said sure let's do that. After a long hold, they told me to come the next morning at 9 am with my husband to leave the down payment and sign. The guy comes back and says sorry the other people who are interested already put a deposit down and they're flying in. We took off work and scrambled all last night trying to get the cash out with very little notice to be told the car wasn't ours. This place is a disgrace of a business. I'm very pleased with my experience at 605 Auto. I ended up with a very nice car that had all of the features that I was looking for. There was a little bit of haggling, which I expected, having bought quite a few cars in my lifetime. But in the end, I got a deal that was quite acceptable to me. No regrets. The only negatives I really have to say are that I didn't like the fact that a salesman was standing outside of my car door as soon as I pulled onto the lot. Very pushy in my opinion. And also, they didn't have regular creamer for the coffee. But I dealt with that. All in all, I recommend them. Ask for Iris, she's very professional and knows her stuff. read more

So I had contacted them a couple days prior to my dad and I coming up there about seeing a Ford Escape. We scheduled the appointment and I drove from 2 hours away to see the car and when I got there I was not happy with what I saw. The tires barely had any trim left and the roof rack was completely missing. And not only was it missing but the other plastic piece that goes underneath the rack was also falling off. After asking the sales manager he said the car had yet to be inspected. We were very confused as to why they were trying to sell us a car that wasn't even in the condition or ready to be sold. So after that disaster we tried to give them one more chance by tested a different escape ( this one had been through inspection) and 20 seconds into the test drive I put on the breaks and instantly feel grinding. I don't believe this place does a quality inspection of their cars and I hope none of you trust them with your business. I bought a car here during COVID year 2020. They gave me a price but when I checked out it was 4K over what they promised. They promised me a warranty with the price that was NONEXISTENT. I found this out because less than a three months after I took it off their lot (with their promise everything was good and working and me having driven it very little obviously with COVID and a brand new baby) I ended up paying 3k for many issues to be fixed. I called them to inquire about their so-called manu warranty they promised but they literally lied to me about calling me back then screened all my calls to not answer ANY my calls over the following Month. Less than a year later with very little driving it also needed brand new tires. Fast forward to 9:09 pm last night, I received a text from them stating I've inquired about a car, the car I bought two years ago, and that I've subscribed to receive their texts. Really? DO NOT PURCHASE HERE! LISTEN, YOU ARE NOT DIFFERENT! YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE THE SAME. I AM IN THE AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS AND WAS LIED TO AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO BUYS A CAR HERE. I purchased a 2011 Mercedes E550 and dealt directly with the owner "RIGO," and the manager JESSICA. At the time of the purchase, I stated that I required to get the vehicle inspected by a certified Mercedes mechanic before processing it. They said they I could buy the car and if there was something wrong that was not regular maintenance, that I could bring it back and they would fix it. I had it checked out at 2 different shops, Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel and Elite Motors (certified Mercedes mechanic). They both stated: 1.) Both the main and auxiliary battery needed replacement (wrong size) 2.) Rotors and brakes were extremely worn and needed replacing 3.) The car was grounding out so shocks needed to be replaced 4.) Transmission Mounts needed to be replaced 5.) An engine oil leak, so I had to replace right centrifuge cover 6.) Replace spark plugs and lines, because the engine was skipping 7.) SUSPECTED WATER DAMAGED VEHICLE DUE TO MOLD AND WATER STAINS. As promised I fixed all the regular maintenance issues (which cost me $1,976.03, but there was $2,000 dollars worth of work that needed to be fixed. I sent Rigo all of the documentation and he agreed to pay half since he believed he could get it done cheaper. I agreed, and for the next 3 months left 27 messages, called him 11 times, and called the store and spoke to Jessica 4 times. Rigo broke many promises to pay me (once even showing me a picture of $1,000 cash with a deposit slip stating the bank would not accept the payment in cash). I stated I would show up to collect the check, but he was always out or they could not process it that day for several reasons. In short, Rigo never paid me a dime and is a crook. They are snake oil peddlers that cheat, lie, and steal. This dealership and these people are why the industry still has a bad name which steals the joy from buying a car. read more

Be aware the prices advertised may not be the actual price of the vehicle. The car I saw advertised was for 16k, after I told them I was already approved by my credit union, the price increased about 2k more. I think it's poor customer service not to be transparent on your advertisement regarding price. The salesperson said it says on the advertisement that's the cash price but it was not mentioned on the advertisement. I'm sharing my experience so this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Horrible experience with this company. I came in two weeks ago and spoke to Mario about a 2007 YUKON. After letting Home know my RICO was about a 580 and I had 2k down he ran my credit and of course came back and said I need more down. He said 4k down or no deal. After two weeks I went back in spoke to the finance manager and she had NO IDEA ABOUT THE APPLICATION. She found my credit report and finances in a pile of credit reports. She looked my credit over ran it in the computer in front of me said she got me a loan of 2k down 18% interest and payments of $375.00 for 48 months. She then said she's doing another loan come back in a hour. After a hour I came back and she was still busy a few hours later some KID named ALEX CALLED me and said he has a loan for me but it has to be done today but his loan WAS WAY MORE THEN ME AND THE FINANCE MANAGER DISCUSSED IN HER OFFICE. He said 2,500 down a 22.5% interest and a payment of 461.00 a month for 48 months. I said I'd get back to him and he said well it's only a deal for today. he then called me back the next afternoon and asked to I still want the truck I explains to him I was looking at a 2008 escalade for 15.999 and they were getting me a better interest and lower payment. He then said well but that one then?, I can't help you. A few hours later I called back 605 auto to speak with the manager ALEX ANSWER AND SAID HE WOLD THE TRUCK. When I started explaining that he was giving me bogus numbers he said well you took to long I sold the car this morning. He then refused to put his manager on the phone so I told him ok I'll be leaving a review on yelp. I want to Thank 605 Auto for making everything go at ease. We walked in after getting approved by our credit union and talked to George who was a nice older gentleman who then introduced us to the manager and I quickly asked about the Nissan Frontier which I liked most that I saw on their website. 10 minutes later we went for a test drive and my wife drove it as well. First impression tires are brand new, paint looked good, interior had good material and was clean. George the salesman didn't rush us and he made us feel comfortable the entire time and what I liked most is he didn't try to sell us, he let us make our own decision. The Manager was even cooler, made us laugh alot and was really down to earth with us as his clients, he treats everyone like family. After checking everything under the truck, under the hood and interior we went ahead and made a decision to purchase the vehicle. UPDATE: One month later this truck is still running good, looks great and hasn't had any problems. Holds up nice, picked up concrete, gravel, bricks, stepping stones, and did a few small projects and it was strong. This was a great experience and a great purchase, everything from when we showed up to when we came back 2 days later to pickup after 605 auto waxed the vehicle and serviced it was a pleasant surprise. TERRIBLE. This place is a joke. They rushed us through paper work. Lied about the conditions of the contract. First thing was the truck we came for was advertised as a 6 cylinder, but it was actually is 4. We accepted that and just tried to make the most of it. After we got a truck, since unfortunately we didn't read yelp reviews, we immediately started noticing problems with the truck. The transmission was slipping, the air conditioning wasn't working, and over all just felt in poor condition. So, 9 days later we had enough of this lemon. We called to meet the manager an HOUR ahead of time to meet him. They said he would meet us there. Came to the business and he still wasn't there. We waited another hour and asked his secretary (who kept telling us he was around the corner) to call him, then he said he was going to be another hour. My boyfriend had to call him directly, and this guy was painfully obvious that he knew he was doing fraud. His personality COMPLETELY changed from the person who was initially making the sale. He was way too defensive for anyone who actually cares about their customers. To get out of the contract they kept $2,000 of or down payment for the lemon they sold us ON TOP of terrible customer service. Then claimed we had "buyers remorse" instead of being decent humans and taking this truck off the market. Terrible manager, awful sale, and just sad disgusting place. read more

I had seen several cars that were in my budget so I came to look at them. I also looked at several others that were a bit higher. The salesman was very good about not trying to push me into something that was out of my price range. We sat down, looked through the cars on the lot via computer that were in my range. instead of roaming around in the sun. When I found one I liked, he found the CarFax on it, checked that it still had a factory warranty ( still 2 years), then went for a test drive. Car ran great. The car was a bit over my budget and they lowered it to make in come in where I needed it to be. I paid in full with a cashiers check so no issues. Paperwork was quick and painless. Picking up the car tomorrow as I had my other car with me and they were cool about me leaving it on the lot till them. They are making an extra key for me. Staff was very pleasant, were able to answer all my questions (which were extensive). Best part is if there is an issue with the car, it is cover by the factory warranty. So no stress about having a problem pop up. I walked out with a Nissan Sentra- 5k miles-very clean. Very happy at this point. read more

2018 SUBARU FORESTER!!!! Called ahead twice about the 2018 Subaru Forester on lot, both times we inquired about the damage reported on the car fax, in which on both car fax & dealer reported it was merely cosmetic damaged, had been inspected & repaired. This was the only damage I closed by both car fax & dealer, we drove 3 hours out of town to view this car, as soon as we see the vehicle there is clear visible damage to the exterior to the car in SEVERAL areas NOT reported or disclosed by the dealer or car fax, firstly the reported damage to the rear drivers side of the car is reported fixed & it is NOT, the bumper & rear side panel are both popped out & severally scratched, secondly there was non disclosed damage to the front passenger bumper & side panel are badly scratched & dented. Thirdly both doors on the passenger side have bad scratches the length of both doors, multiple scratches throughout both doors, seriously so disappointed, when we asked the dealer about why the damage reported was actually not repaired he said "oh well sometimes when we take it on test drives the bumper pops back out but you can just pop it back in" when we asked about all the other non disclosed damage he replied "well when we buy cars from auction they may suffer some damage in the transfer" absolutely ridiculous PLEASE READ if you plan on looking at the Subaru Forester on this lot!! read more
