    Honestly, I'm glad I ended up at Envision Norwalk Toyota ... which is funny because I didn't even have them on my radar. Penske Downey had way better reviews, so I figured that was the safer bet. But Envision said they had the exact car and color I wanted, so I took a chance. The beginning was a little rocky. I did feel a tiny bit of pressure toward the color they had on the lot, nothing crazy, just enough for me to clock it. But what actually kept me from turning right around was ALYSSA. She's just... comforting. The kind of person who makes a young, timid first‑time buyer feel like she has a big sister right there at the table. I could almost whisper to her what would make me take the deal or walk away, and she'd help me get that across without making me feel silly or out of place. Then the sales manager came over and the whole vibe shifted. The tone felt off, kind of dismissive, a little superior. Like my asking for a better rate was somehow an outrageous request. It definitely threw me off and made me clam up. But credit where it's due: after stepping away (and probably thinking through what deal he actually wanted to land), he came back much more collaborative. Better rate, better price... and eventually he even bought us Shakey's while we waited. Total plot twist. (I think my positive experience by the end of the night made the pizza extra delicious). In the end, they even worked their dealer connections to get the exact color and features I originally wanted from their affiliate two hours away. So, despite the ups and downs, I left with the car I'd been hoping for, at a price and rate I felt good about, with a full belly and a surprisingly positive final impression. So yeah, I'm glad I gave them a chance. It wasn't perfect the whole way through, but thanks to Alyssa (seriously, she's a gem) and the team ultimately making things right, I drove off happy. One last note: I'm keeping this at 4 stars for now because I'm still waiting on my paperwork. The finance guy told me I'd get the email copies the same day, but it's been 11 days and nothing has come through. For someone who likes to review everything for peace of mind, that's been a little stressful. Once I finally receive my documents, I'd be happy to bump this to 5 stars, because the rest of the experience really did end on a high note.

    Had an amazing experience at Norwalk Toyota! Couldn't be happier with my experience and my first car purchase! Big shout out to Lupe, she was amazing and made the entire process so smooth. She was super attentive, answered all my questions, and made sure I drove away in the perfect car. If you're coming here, highly recommend to ask for Lupe! Thank you to the manager Sal and finance manager Jose! Everyone was welcoming and friendly, greeting us with a smile at every appointment!! 10/10 recommended

    I had a great experience, of course buying a car isn't a walk in the park and sometimes you have to put up a little fight to get the deal you want but I left very happy with my new car! I was straight forward on the pricing, they were transparent with the OTD and we were able to make it happen, easy and no crazy markups or pressure. Overall had a good interaction with everyone especially Maria, she is super nice, very understanding and willing to do anything possible to make a deal happen ! Thank you Norwalk Toyota, I love my car !

    1st and last terrible experience I've had at this dealership. I've been coming to this location since I was a kid. My entire family has purchased multiple vehicles at this specific location. When I say multiple, I mean everyone. Example: I came to get my car serviced in December and I noticed they were having specials. I told my mom, who already has three vehicles. She came in the next day and got an additional car. Anyways, I purchased my vehicle in 2020. I was given a certificate that states as long as I get all my maintenance at this dealership my oil changes will be free for the next 10 years or 150,000 miles. That is exactly what I've been doing for the last 5 years. Today, I went in for an oil change. Apparently there's new employees who haven't been fully trained, including the new service manager who started 6 months ago. Expecting me to pay $395 for additional service items I am not due for nor asked for. I told the service advisor with blonde hair that I was only interested in the oil change today. She asked me if I was given a price. I showed her my certificate. She first said, oh you already got two oil changes so let me check. She then spoke to the manager who read the certificate out loud and confirmed as long as I only get my maintenance at this dealer the oil changes would be free. So she then starts adding different additional services to the computer and says it's going to be $395. I was surprised. I've always been given the recommendation on what is needed or will soon be needed. I am then asked if I want to get it done that day or schedule it for a different day. That's usually what I do depending on the service needed. So I asked why was it $395? I then see that there was basic stuff that I didn't need like a tire rotation. My tires are new so I did not need that. I tried to explain to her that I didn't need to get all the extra services today. I even told her that I am always given the option to come back and complete the recommended maintenance at a later time. As long as I don't go over the mileage. I told her that I only came for an oil change. However, she expected me to get the recommended maintenance of 55,000 miles. Mind you, I had just got my car maintenance few months ago. I was still at 52,000 miles. She then shows me that if she chose the option for 50,000 miles it would be $895. Which is B*LL$HIT. I then told her there were notes from my last few visits. She could check to make sure what was required. She seemed lost so the service manager walked back over and said I had to get the maintenance service as stated on the certificate. ( mind you that's what I've been doing for the last 5 years) At no point did he check my account to see if I was below the required scheduled maintenance mileage or check the history of my vehicle. Nor did he check the notes from the last service manager. He just sided with her. She never gave me the individual price for the additional services. She just said it's recommended so you have to get it in order to get the free oil change. I told the service manager that at times I just come for the oil change. He then said "that's not how we keep the lights on". I then replied "so you are no longer honoring the certificate?" and he said "no". Changing what he had just said earlier. Basically breaking the original agreement that was given to me by the dealer and honored by the last few managers. I then asked for my car back and walked out. No point going back and forth with someone who doesn't want to keep loyal customers. Not to mention the fact that I've been getting my car serviced here for years. Even when the dealer was sold.... SMH. I'll be taking my business to the Toyota Dealer in Cerritos. Doesn't matter if I have to pay. Their customer service is always 1000% better. SIDE NOTE: there's specials on the dealership website that include everything they were trying to charge me separately for....... LMFAO

I joked that this place feels like a "fake mechanic shop in disguise" because of how efficient they are. George, the owner, is incredible. He answers his phone within two rings, never says no, and always finds a solution to any car issue. He's transparent, reliable, and truly prioritizes his work ethic over money. They always get me in and out within minutes. Before moving to Long Beach, I only went to the dealership for any car problems. Once I moved, I wanted something more convenient and now I'll never go back to a dealership again. Today I went in for a service, and George let me know my tires weren't looking good. I told him I agreed (they were long overdue for a change), and he immediately connected me with his friend down the street. I ended up getting brand-new tires for an amazing price, the deal was so good it almost felt unreal. Once again, it was all thanks to George and his connections. As a woman, it means a lot that he doesn't try to exploit my lack of car knowledge. Instead, he educates me and treats me with respect. Even after moving to Santa Clarita, I'll continue coming back because no one compares to George and the service here. Im a forever customer. Thank you George and your team! Highly recommend!

However, I couldn't give 5 stars because the shop layout itself was a bit disappointing. It looked like only one or two cars could realistically be serviced at a time, which made the operation seem limited. Additionally, the person who initially came out to help didn't appear very knowledgeable and didn't seem like he had the authority to make decisions on behalf of the company. It's good to know this business is around and available in the area, but based on my experience I probably won't be returning here for service.
