Gluten free flourless brownie

We started with drinks. My wife got the Love Potion and it was delicious. I got the kitchen margarita with cucumber and it was a good margarita. We then got the gluten free Thai chicken wing and fries as well as the French kiss salad. All had a nice variety of flavors. The pear and salty nature of the cheese, berry and vignette paired well for the salad. Overall a good choice and moderately price.

Was traveling through Ohio and stopped for dinner at 56 Kitchen restaurant with an open kitchen concept where you can watch the chef prepare your food. I liked the concept that they use locally sourced ingredients, and their recipes are made from scratch. We were greeted and seated in the dining area quickly upon arrival. The restaurant has a modern mechanical vibe with very interesting light fixtures. The staff was very kind and attentive. I ordered the grilled rainbow trout with spinach-rice sauté, roasted brussels sprouts and citrus brown butter and walnut brittle. I had high hopes for this entree but was a bit disappointed for the price point. The fish was bland with very little flavor and I did not taste the brown butter or see any walnut brittle on my dish. The portion size was substantial with 2 fish fillets but the flavor was not there. The salmon avocado hand held with grilled salmon, cherry tomato, mixed greens, sweet lime aioli, avocado spread served open faced on house focaccia with a side of house fresh cut fries. The Harvest salad with mixed greens, seasonal vegetables, goat cheese, and candied walnuts, all tossed in a house vinaigrette. This was the favorite of the dishes. Overall a fun modern restaurant with a great farm to market concept, but could use a bit more flavor.

Chicken schnitzel with Brussels sprouts and blackened onion rings

We had a fantastic dinner here last week! Upscale, yet relaxed vibe with contemporary American cuisines and a pizza lineup. Our server was absolutely awesome -- super quick to grab refills at every turn, helpful with menu items, and extremely kind! Our food was spectacular, especially for the price. I had the chicken schnitzel with Brussels and onion rings. The highlight? The lemon sauce on the schnitzel brought everything perfectly together. Would absolutely recommend this combination! My wife ordered a veggie burger with fries for an early dinner and a French Kiss salad to go. All were phenomenal. Price-wise, this is an incredible spot. We walked away with a bill well under $75 for three filling, delicious, locally-sourced meals. Can't beat this!

So this was our first visit to the 56. The lighting is bright and the decor is somewhat industrial if you will. The service was not the best but I attribute this to the management. When the staff is not set up for success it's due to management not providing enough support. Something that has always bothered me when dining out is having salads or appetizers come out with dinner it makes for a cold entrees and a crowded table. My burger had a good flavor but the patties were somewhat rubbery. The fries were crispy, hot, and not too greasy. All in all not a bad experience but nothing to make want to rush back.

It was my first time here. We came as a party of five. We were welcomed immediately upon entering and were 15 minutes early for our appointment time. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the high back chairs and we declined a d we were sat immediately at a better seating option. The good: My salmon handheld was flavorful. The burger was also tasty as were the potatoes. The pasta dish was pretty good. The house fries was hot and fresh and kinda reminded me of penn station fries. The bad: We were not attended to for long periods of time and had to wait 20 minutes for the check after we were done eating. The location had a decent crowd, but not too busy. The ugly: the pizza. It was terrible. Too much cheese, not much sauce and the sausage was poor quality. The pizza was for the child in our party and it's really bad if the child doesnt want the pizza. $18 for a small pizza with poor ingredients is a waste of money and time. Luckily, we were able to give the pizza to someone who needed it.

I went here for dinner the other night with family. The restaurant is smaller and cute. I do like the concept of an open kitchen where one can see the chefs cooking, but since it's small, the smell of whatever is the next order takes over the entire restaurant which can be nauseating at times. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food & drinks were a little lackluster. The Diet Coke was flat, we told our server who said fixed it, and it was still flat. They were out of a lot of what we wanted to order so we had to pivot last minute. I ended up with the open face salmon which was just ok. Fries were nice and crisp but certainly on the saltier side. The bahn mi sandwich and spinach artichoke dip were favorites at my table.

Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had! From the attentive service staff to the incredible food, this place truly has it all. Everything was executed perfectly, and the atmosphere made it even better. If we're ever back in the area, we will absolutely be returning

The restaurant was small but nice . Our waiter was kind and very knowledgeable about what's on the menu . We did ask for his suggestions. We did let him know that my wife didn't eat meat. He presented some nice vegan options, but my wife settled on the salmon burger. I got the double smash burger ( waiter suggested). We started off with an appetizer ( cauliflower bites) which was very tasty. You can have the cauliflower bites tossed in a variety of flavors. We landed on the sweet Thai sauce . Both of our sandwiches, were good! Very flavorful, but a bit messy. We had to ask for extra napkins because soon as you bite into the sandwich your hands will get soiled for the flavor and juices. I would say I would come back and experiment with some other entrées. Possibly the oven baked pizza. Overall solid dining options would return especially if you like a quiet atmosphere

This pizza was really delicious. I could only finish up three slices.

The food was really good and the service was very friendly. I only pick restaurants with the four stars and more this place did not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Kicking it up a notch. Food is outstanding and different to justify a tad higher pricing.

Best burgers and fries I've ever had. Worth every calorie! We used it for takeout but I'll bet it's even better fresh off the grill.

They said that was their "large pizza". So basically we got ripped off. Just for reference, order a medium pizza down the road at Master Pizza. Their medium is Teresa's large. If shrinkflation was in the dictionary Teresa's would be pictured. When we got home the pizza was very hard to eat as there was 2 inches of cheese. The sauce was a little too salty. We will not be coming back again. I'd hate to say it but Georgio's pizza is way better and they actually have a large pizza for a much better value.

I have driven by "Geraci's Restaurant" in Pepper Pike many times. It is in a very nice area along…read moreChagrin Blvd; and many times I have thought we should stop in to see what it was like. The restaurant is in the bottom floor of an attractive office building and has a very nice red brick enclosed patio out front. In the evening, when it is all lit up, it looks very cozy. We made our reservations, which required a call rather than online. They were very accommodating. The establishment is a bit of a fooler when you first arrive. It is actually much larger inside than it appears from the outside. There is a lot of square footages that is split up into several separate rooms and distinct areas giving it a more comfortable and warmer feeling than that much space would typically afford. We were seated quickly in a space that was open and bright and very comfortable. A very pleasant young lady by the name of Celine introduced herself as our server for the evening and quickly took our drink order. The wine list was not extensive but it had a satisfactory selection of good wines (Italian) by the glass. Which I always appreciate as our party typically only drinks one or two glasses and a bottle would go to waste. I enjoyed an excellent "Montepulciano D'Abruzzo". When Celine returned with our beverages she answered all the questions we had and we proceeded to place our order. I noted right away "Geraci's" does something with their salad offerings that very few establishments do. They offer all their salads in two sizes. I often want a salad to start my meal but the typical salad in most restaurants is MUCH too big. I just don't want that much lettuce. "Geraci's" offers all their salad options in a small size to solve that problem. I really appreciated that thoughtfulness. So, we all started out with a small salad that was crisp and fresh. Nothing that had been sitting around getting wilted... Good start. We also ordered the "Breaded Artichoke Hearts" from the appetizer menu for the table (one order was plenty for the 4 of us). The artichokes were very good. Lightly breaded and NO TOUGH LEAVES. There are few things more disgusting than bighting into an artichoke heart and hitting an unchewable leaf... aaaugh! These were very nicely done. All tender and flavorful... nothing fancy, just a pleasant start. My wife followed this with "Chicken Piccata" and I chose the "Chicken Marsala". Our guests ordered the "Veal Cutlet" and a personal sized "Sicilian Pizza". Our chicken dishes were good. The meat was tender and nicely cooked. The sauces were pleasant. There was nothing exceptional about either one. They were typical "American/Italian" cuisine. However, the "Veal Cutlet" was a bit disappointing. The meat was tender enough. But the breading was dry and flavorless. The "Sicilian Pizza" was ok... just ok. The crust was palatable. The sauce was somewhat flavorless. The Romano cheese had no flavor at all (typical American Romano)... they should have gone with the good stuff. We followed the evening with an excellent cup of coffee and three different desserts. I had the "Cannoli Trio" which were nice and crispy with good flavor. My wife had the "Spumoni Bomba" which she was very happy with. Our guests shared the "Limoncello Tartufo" that was excellent. So, is the 4 star rating too much? Probably, but I feel like a 3 is too little. If a 3-1/2 was an option that would be more accurate. All in all, it was a good evening. The atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent. The food was mostly good, but not entirely. So would I go there again... yes, maybe, in a pinch. Would I call it fine dining... absolutely not. I think maybe you should give it a try and see for yourself. It's worth a try and another opinion.

It has been at least 20 years since I was to Geracis in the Heights and after this experience in Pepper Pike I think I'm set for life. It's a shame because my memories of the food were so good.
