After checking other local options I quickly discovered I payed $300 more than typical. My suggestion would be to call a few places first if you can. Mine was an urgent need but not so urgent that I couldn't have called a few places. I regret not doing that now. While I may not have been forced, i certianly felt obligated. Obligation is a powerful presence when it's 1am, you're tired, in this persons face, and just want the ordeal to be over. I originally was asked to leave a kind review (quickly made up a 5 star review and showed Ari) on the spot in order to save 10%. So, who wouldn't want 10% off a fortune? The response to my post is laughable from the owner. Again, you can read my conversations attached. Nothing to hide. I paid the money. We have a saying down in Texas, "a hit dog will holler." Basically, if they didn't feel unreasonable, they'd have nothing to say via this public post or it would far more congenial.

The technician wore a mask and was on time. The surprise came when I paid the invoice. A service call charge of $65 which I expected. What I didn't expect was a labor charge of $72.50 to troubleshoot and replace the lock. The total bill for a new lock came to $203. My expectations were that the service call would include any troubleshooting and replacing. Maybe this is how business is done now. A charge to show up and a charge to do the actual work? I paid the invoice but I will be calling another locksmith in the future.

I went to 3 other places looking to get my keys copied.....simple enough right? so so wrong......2…read moreof the places didn't exist and one of them was closed, so i went back the next day and closed again even though clearly within business hours. frustrated and down to the wire with a new roomie moving in that needed a key i found magnolia park lock shop. the gentleman who helped me was extremely approachable and welcoming and had my new perfect little keys ready in a matter of a minute or 2. thank you thank you thank you, and i will definately be recommending this place to anyone with key needs. just a great overall experience for something so simple and it was totally appreciated!
