Great job for this reliable mobile service. I've used some mobile services that were completely unreliable, so I was a little skeptical as to whether 5 Star would show up. Got a confirmation when I booked, and then a text that the tech was on the way about an hour before he arrived (and fully within the window they gave me). He pulled his truck up to the driveway, and I backed the car per his direction. He did a great job - super clean inside and out. Not a spot was missed. My only regret is that I parked under a tree, so I had some spots later on the windshield from that, but it was not his fault. I'd avoid doing that. It was pretty expensive, but it seems like all the detail services are. Not something I would do all the time, but for getting my car in great shape I'll definitely call 5 Star again. read more

Vanrod provided fast, reliable service. The service took about 90 minutes to complete for the Deluxe Wash. I was able to pay via Venmo, too.

Similar to other reviewers I was a little nervous about using a mobile detailing service but I have found my guy! Vanrod texted me to let me know he was on the way and was incredibly friendly and thorough. My car is spotless and I am so happy with his work. I highly recommend this company. read more

5 Star Clean is one of the best services I have used for car detailing. I had a very dirty truck with dog hair and unseen dog vomit. Vanrod got the job done. I would highly recommend him and will be using him in the future. read more

Excellent communication and online booking. Arrived on time. Did an EXCELLENT job and was super helpful when my car battery died.

Phenomenal service- our car looks brand new! I highly recommend getting a detail with 5 Star Clean. Vanrod was extremely detailed and took his time - he wasn't rushed and provided a quality detail. If you are a looking for the comfort of staying at home and getting the best detail ever I recommend calling Vanrod ASAP!!! read more

I rarely need car detailing, but have gotten it done a couple of time in the Austin area from other places that I was not super impressed by. After a road trip with two dogs that shed A LOT and lots of crumbs from snacks, a car detail was much needed. I would recommend 5 Star Clean ATX to everyone and anyone. He is a car cleaning WIZARD. He was able to schedule an appointment for the next day and the inside of my car looks and smells brand new. The flat rate at my time of service was $155 for the inside of the car. It is mobile service and I didn't have to leave my driveway. Also, he has a super cute and well mannered dog that tagged along. I will be a loyal repeat customer for sure. read more

I had a sudden schedule change and needed to reschedule the night before. I emailed them and they replied back in a few minutes confirming the reschedule. Love that! Service was excellent, tech was on time, friendly and fast, and my muddy, dog-hair-covered leather seats look brand new! Much better than having to drive out to a car wash and wait there for hours. read more

My car has not been this clean since I drove it off the dealers lot, and maybe not even then.Vanrod, the business owner, is detail oriented, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. He gets my highest recommendation! read more

I wish I'd had a better experience here. In fact, I wish I'd had any experience at all. See, I'm still waiting for that quote I requested from this company on May 26th. The window of opportunity has, unfortunately, long passed. Ultimately, I had to make the best of a "do it yourself" job due to their lack of a response. I'll be the very first to admit that my time-frame for service was requested over the Memorial Day weekend mid-morning on a Saturday. Also, my windows of opportunity that were limited to just two days of the three-day weekend (due to circumstances beyond my control, which I explained in the quote request). However, the other three companies from which I requested and received quotations each replied promptly within 2 to 44 minutes of the timestamp of my request that they were unable to service. At least one company even provided helpful alternatives. Being booked or closed and unable to provide service to a prospective customer in the requested time-frame is an understandable thing. Leaving a customer hanging for weeks on end without the courtesy of a reply is another. Even an apology after-the-fact for being unavailable would have been something that left a positive impression. These are not inexpensive services, after all. I had really hoped for better response from a company named "5 Star" with so many five-star Yelp reviews. It leaves me wondering if these reviews are totally legit. Therefore, I believe a two-star rating is earned, because, honestly, based on my other respondents, "Meh, I've experienced better." read more

I booked online late on a Saturday night and Vanrod from 5 Star Clean ATX showed up at m y house the next morning to clean my wife's minivan. Now, this minivan was not DESTROYED, but our two kids had done a number on it. No worries- Vanrod spent hours getting into every nook and cranny and now the vehicle looks almost like-new. 10/10, will book again. read more

On time and spent quality time working on my car. Really awesome and thorough job. Will be using again. Thank you!

Great service, convenient and friendly. We travel with our dog every day and all that hair adds up. Vanrod makes our cars smell and look so clean. It's impressive every time we have him detail our cars. We are repeat customers because of the great job he does. read more

Wow! What a wonderful experience we had today. Vanrod and his lovely Labradoodle arrived at our home and stayed for a good five hours. As dog professionals you can only imagine that our car was filled with dog hair and dirt. By the time he was done with it, our 2015 Camry looked like a brand new car, literally! It's so clean I am hesitant to drive it anywhere. I think I'll just keep it in the garage from now on. We can't thank you enough! And that dog of his, what a magnificent boy! read more

Outstanding job. Came to clean my Polaris razor. Did a fantastic job. Will hire them after our next ride.

Have used them in the past, and they always did a good job they were clean and fast and got the work done without too much of a hassle

Great service, my car looks brand new and my car was a complete disaster! It was very nice that it is a mobile service and he comes to your house! I would highly recommend this company! Will be using again to clean my carpets read more

Very impressed with 5 Star Clean ATX. Vanrod was very professional and takes pride in his work. I needed odor removal after buying a Lexus from Carmax and discovering that the previous owner was a smoker. The real test was asking my wife to sit in the car the next day. She said it smelled like a new car, I am not kidding! Happy wife, happy life. :D Awesome job guys. read more

Vanrod did an excellent job for us. Online booking was easy. Will definitely use his service again.

I didn't know it was possible to get my car this clean. Vanrod was professional and kind, arrived on time, worked for hours, and did a phenomenal job getting into every square millimeter of my long-neglected, rather filthy car. His work goes beyond anything I could have possibly accomplished using my own cleaning tools and limited time/patience at home...worth every penny. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Absolutely amazing!!! My 2013 Acura looks brand new! Vanrod came and detailed the car to perfection! Little scratches on the leather - gone, the rugs shampooed, the floor mats scrubbed, the headlights crystal clear, hand washed and waxed - all the little scratches and nicks were perfectly attended to! I am so impressed and will certainly call them back! read more

Absolutely amazing! My car hasn't been cleaned properly in years - was to the point where I was embarrassed to let anyone in it - so needless to say I was desperate. Vanrod was the absolute best! Extremely professional and courteous - made my car look almost unrecognizably new. Not a stain, smudge, spec of dust in sight and spent hours making it look better than the day I bought it. Thank you Vanrod!! read more

I was so amazed at how clean my car was after hiring Vanrod at 5 Star Clean ATX. He helped me get it ready to sell and it looked better than when I bought it! Scheduling was very easy, all done online and in a matter of minutes I was booked for a detail days later. When he arrived, he got right to work. He got rid of stains I didn't think were possible to get rid of. I couldn't be happier!!! When you hire these guys, your car is going to look brand new! read more

Wow - I am seriously impressed with the work 5 Star did yesterday. My Jeep now looks brand new. I have children and it was a disaster. It was well worth the money spent to have him come out to the house and do an intense cleaning. I would recommend to all I know - and have! read more

They did an amazing job on both my suv and my husbands truck! Professional and detailed from start to finish. We booked the inside and out detailing service and our cars looked better than when we got them brand new! Will be booking them again and referring others! read more

Because I don't really trust yelp, and I feel like most reviews are strangely hyped up (no, that mediocre pizza in the beer garden wasn't better than sex, I've been there) or paid for, I tend to avoid places that have suspiciously good reviews. But, I'm also lazy and sorta cheap. This option meant that I didn't have to drive across town and it was significantly better priced. 5 Star Clean could legitimately charge more and it would still be worth it. Car looks great, including the cream steering wheel (why would they pick that color?) which was embedded with years of hand dirt and dead skin cells and who knows what else. Vanrod is excellent. Chill, nice dude, that didn't make me feel weird having him to my business while I was there alone. I know that's an odd thing to add to a review, but because they come to you, I think it's important to note how not-creepy he is. He also clearly takes pride in the job he does. No upsale attempt when I told him what I wanted, but I feel like he would have mentioned anything that would have been useful to get done. Deodorizer scent was as gross as I expected, but much lighter than they normally are so it should air out pretty quickly. This was his first time cleaning this particular type of car, and the backseat is nearly impossible to access, but he didn't miss a spot. I'm super impressed. read more

Aside from being two hours late to our appointment, Vanrod did a great job. What was suppose to be from 12:30-3:30 actually lasted from 2:30-6pm. However, he did a very thorough job, and my car looks and smells brand new. I also stepped outside to speak with him for a bit, and he was very friendly, and we had some great conversations. I will probably use 5 Star Clean again, but I won't plan anything else for the day and have to cancel my plans (again). If they would've been on time, I would've given them 5 stars. I also never got $15 off for finding them on yelp, even though I let him know before paying. It was also kinda expensive at nearly $150 just for an interior cleaning. Regardless, I'm happy with the way my car looks and smells right now. read more

Once again they did a wonderful job! 5 Star does a thorough, deep clean removing all the dog hairs and stains. Looking forward to using them again! read more

I know this is going to sound crazy, BUT, have you ever been so excited about having, acquiring something that you could hardly wait until that day arrives? You know, kinda like when you were a kid on Christmas Eve! Well, that was the 'feeling' I had about having my car detailed. But wait a minute, you have to know this part, I have had my car done for many years, YET NEVER HAD THIS 'FEELING' before?! Man could I write a book about my experience with Vanrod and Blue, and it was exactly that, an experience that filled me to the top. These 2 ARE ONE OF A KIND, man and his adorably friendly beast of a dog. Blue won me over, so much so I found myself sitting out in my yard the entire Detail, talking and playing and loving on Blue. As time went, as I began to examine the work Vanrod was doing, I couldn't believe my eyes. My 20 year old Honda Element was coming alive! I'm old, so can never figure out how to do that picture download thing. Too bad, because a picture tells the story ALL BY ITSELF. I love to hear peoples his-story, and was interested in Vanrods "Why" car detailing. He told me, "I love making people 'feel' happy, good about themselves!" He said that riding in a clean car shows they care about themselves., and we can't care about others until we care about ourselves. This man is a genius, for that is the TRUTH of LIFE. So, Vanrod takes any make, any year, and turns back the hands of time, restoring back to life that which we think was lost. Now how awesome is that!! You are missing a great addition to your life if you pass this service, this man and this dog by!!!!!!!! read more

Vanrod works hard. Even for a detailer, this guy is DETAILED. Great jobs both times I've had him out. I recommend without reservation.

Vanrod did an amazing job on my car! He's communicative, polite, and professional! :) I will definitely be booking 5 Star Clean again! :)

Vanrod did an excellent job on both my vehicle, which were filthy. I can assure you I will be using him and Five Star again in the future.
