There's simply no words to describe how impressed I am with Donavin's work ethic, knowledge, and personal care! I've worked with several auto detailers and this was literally THE BEST experience and outcome I've had in all my 25+ years of hiring someone to detail my car. His attention to detail and meticulous care from the tiniest detail on up, is just mind blowing. I literally can't recommend him enough. You rarely run into guys with the level of insights and experience this guy has. Now I have to tell you, that my car got shipped in an open transport across the country and it arrived dirty and plus, the paint was dulled out with oxidation damage, swirl marks, and some minor scratches from previous neglect. The inside steering wheel was I thought damaged and irreparable being all blackened and worn. Similarly with some of the seats and interior from being handled by the auto transport company. After Donavin finished, I was astonished at what he gave me back as my car. The interior was cleaned and fresh looking. It seemed almost restored somehow in some areas I wrote off as worn and just old and grungy. The steering wheel was especially surprising to see how clean he had gotten it, which is better than what I had the last time when I had someone else detail the car in my old home state. Plus, the outside body car paint looked like it had just come from the dealers showroom. No swirl marks, the minor scratches were somehow suddenly hard to see and I literally had to ask him what happened to the one scratch where someone keyed my car and he had to show me where it was. It's just not really noticeable anymore. The car on the outside just looks like glass. It glistens and shines like it's brand new paint. It's unbelievable! For reasons I'll probably regret, I'm spending a lot of money making an old Volvo great again. And what it needed at this point was a complete & thorough detail, before hauling it off to a body shop. I wanted to see what really had to be replaced, repainted, or maybe just covered up. And Above & Beyond is my favorite kind of local business: A one-man show, a dog, and forty-six reviews on Austin Yelp, with forty-five of them being five-stars. I can work with that. We did our communicating on Yelp messaging. And this adventure took nine hours and cost me four-hundred bucks. I did some unfiltered pics so you get an idea of the result, but I can't convey how smooth & silky the paint feels now, and how bright & shiny the inside is, without its sheen of scum & Marlboro. I'm pretty sure they were menthols too. He sent text updates during the day, and I got to use my Lyft & Venmo apps as a bonus. Could I have done as good a job if I had spent my entire day focusing all my energy into this? No. And that's what makes it as good as it gets. read more

So I had horrible experiences at palms car wash in which I'm pretty sure they messed up my back bumper and left unremovable watermarks. I also tried nuwash and they left my car looking rather unwashed. I was quite convinced that they washed the wrong car even after they washed it again. ANYWAYS, Donavin removed all the "unremovable" watermarks on my bumper and made my car look brand new again. I recently was stumped on a bday present for a close friend and getting his car deeply cleaned and detailed struck me. Yelp was my first go to search and Donavin was solid hands down #1. His reviews and pictures resulting from his work speak for him. Pun intended lol. He happens to currently be in a vow of silence in part of his meditation to achieve a greater piece in life. He let me know upfront long before I even secured my appt., and I had no worries due to his all around transparency and efficient communication. So I dropped my friends car off to him late evening Sunday. He had a full assessment quote with my specific additional concerns easily laid out by 9 the next morning! His car needed a lot of professional TLC inside and out, and I wish I had taken before and after pics to do all his work justice. But with selecting his Daily Driver package and adding on paint scratch, headlight, and tail pipe detail, he literally restored the car to as close to brand new as it gets! Definitley exceeded my hopes and expectations. He truly does go above and beyond, for me he even made way to get a small inside trim piece glued perfectly back into place. I'm definitely going back to him very soon to have my own car blessed by him! Donavin is a MIRACLE WORKER. He brought my 18 year old Camry back to life. Honestly it looked like a different car in the end. I highly recommend him. You guys. My car was disgusting. 8 years of hauling 4 kids and a dog around had rendered it, basically, a garbage repository. Dog hair everywhere, gooey who-knows-what in every crevice, melted crayons, literal years-old chocolate ice cream all over the headliner. Yeah, it doesn't get much worse than my trusty Mazda 5, which I lovingly refer to as "Betsy." The hubs found Donavin via Google search and offered to take old Betsy in as a Mother's Day gift. I was kind of hesitant, partly because I was completely embarrassed by the state she was in, and partly because I truly did NOT believe there was any way that she'd come clean enough to impress me. Donavin was great. He inquired if he could arrive earlier than our scheduled time which was awesome and he was very thorough with the wash and detail of my Jeep Wrangler. My Jeep hadn't been cleaned (besides a good rain) in two years and it's black so it shows everything. He shined it up so it looked brand new, and was able to get some superficial scratches out of the paint after an off-roading mishap. There are just not enough good things to say about Donavin and the amazing work he does - I've never seen anyone be more thorough, hard working or committed to doing the absolute best they possibly could, literally in any interaction I've ever had as a customer. And MY CAR LOOKS AMAZING. I brought in our super old Celica that's on its last legs but that we need to last just a little bit longer. It was just old and dingy and kinda smelly and really needed the upholstery refreshed. It has clearly seen better days and it was frankly at the point that we didn't even enjoy driving it. All I was hoping for was that Donavin could possibly refresh the upholstery and carpet and maybe get a few of the stains out, but he went above and beyond and just did an incredible job. It looks ten thousand times better. He didn't miss even the smallest detail - the inside and outside look incredible, beyond what I ever thought anyone would be able to achieve with a 17 year old car. And it was clear he went the extra mile because it's really important to him to do the best job he possibly can for his customers.
