Amazing fried chicken at great price. Complete bang for your buck, and they have the nicest lady at the counter.

Just a heads up though, if you order "mild" it is still definitely spicy, but in a good way. That said, the service was a big downside. When I went with friends, the place was not even busy, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to come out (yes I counted because we were in a rush). We only ordered two tenders with no drink. For something that feels like fast food, that is pretty unreasonable. I also went specifically to try the mozzarella sticks, but we were told they had not even started making them and it would take another 40 minutes, which is kind of wild. Even when our food was ready, things moved really slowly. The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

Pleasantly surprised my the carbonation to syrup mix in their fountain machine (it was actually good). It was a huge piece and it was so crispy and juicy and fresh out of the fryer! The biscuit was tasty too. First time at this Victoria Park and Danforth location and the service was fast and friendly. While driving along this street to get to…read moremy destination, I noticed this Church's Chicken at the southwest corner of Victoria Park and Danforth avenues. This eatery is considered a part of Shoppers World. It had caught my attention. I drove by it heading home. I decided to pull over at a plaza at Birchmount and Danforth roads (it used to be a Burger King years ago, but it's now a Timmy's) to look at my food apps. Church's Chicken had a deal on Uber Eats. If you bought a side, you got another one for free. Yay! I ordered the following items: - Coleslaw (BOGO) - Five-piece chicken tenders combo, with a honey butter biscuit, and your choice of drink (I got a Diet Coke) and side (I got gravy) - Six honey butter biscuits My order was estimated to be ready in fifteen minutes. Sweet! I slowly made my way back to Shoppers World. I parked and looked around the area before my order was ready. Coincidentally, there is a Burger King next to it. High school memories of eating at BK flooded in. There's a lot of parking. Shoppers World had a ton of parking. I parked and headed inside. I spoke with a woman who was behind the counter. I said that I had an Uber Eats order. She looked and started to pack everything together. I found the scrambling to be a bit odd. If my order was ready, wouldn't it be somewhat packed? I don't know. Anyway, she was friendly. She asked whether I wanted any dipping sauces for my chicken tenders. You do need to shell out extra ($0.50 each) for sauces at Church's Chicken. I didn't get any, as my gravy side was perfect. She was funny. She was trying to figure out how to hand the bag over to me. She quickly dropped her arms and said that she'd stop fussing over it. I grabbed the bag handles and thanked her. I walked out happy with my food, placing my food in my huge insulated bag. I then drove home to have a late lunch at 3:30 pm. I love the chicken tenders here. It's white meat with the right amount of batter and seasoning that's deep-fried to perfection. I normally get the four-piece, but was hungry and went with five. They were delicious and exactly the way that I like them. I dunked the chicken tenders in gravy. It wasn't salty. It had decent flavour. Yum! The honey butter biscuits here are the best. They are addictive. I got six on top of the one that came with my meal. I had two of them during this meal. They are crunchy, buttery, soft, and so good. They are the best! They heat up nicely the day after you get them. I got two small orders of coleslaw. I love the coleslaw here. It's creamy and the veggies are crispy. I had one with my meal and the other the following day. It's so good! In the past, you got a fountain drink with a combo meal. During this pandemic, drinks are now in cans. I got a cold Diet Coke. You can't mess with the formulation when it's in a can. I am happy that there's this Church's Chicken at Shoppers World. I'd return to get my biscuit and chicken tenders cravings when I'm in the area. (78)

There was a lineup when I entered but it seemed to be moving quite well. Like a lot of places these days, they offer a special on Tuesdays (and Mondays) for a two piece chicken and fries. I added a small coleslaw and a drink. That's my dinner! It didn't take long to get my order. They kinda had all the food and boxes lined up and ready to go so it was more like an assembly job. That's great for fast service, not so great for getting fresh food. By the time it was my turn, they were out of chicken legs and substituted a wing. I didn't mind, especially since I got the thigh, as advertised. Unfortunately, although the flavour wasn't bad, it didn't taste very fresh. I kinda feel like they cooked a whole lot of chicken and were just filling orders quickly. Same for the fries. They were a bit soggy. After sitting at a table on the patio for a couple of minutes, I realized they forgot my coleslaw. I went back in and got it. No problem. Suppose I had driven away? Hmmm... If they did as I suspect, have all the food cooked and ready to be packaged, it's good for speedy service but not so great for food quality. If they didn't, then...

The fries come in different in different colours , with each representing a different flavour. My personal flavour were the yellow and orange colour chicken fries which was turmeric and tomato flavour. Didn't feel really oily either. Price is a tad steep $ 10.05 for fries but since it's actually chicken , it seemed ok . The colouring on the chicken fries is supposed to be natural from ground up ingredient powders. I'm not sure if the owner is taiwanese or mainlander but he was really friendly. Didn't have any tissues and also no washroom at inside this unit, but he went to his CAR and grabbed me some wet naps to clean my hands which was really kind of him. The cutlet itself was breaded well, crispy and the chicken was juicy. The price is kinda steep so if it would've been a lil cheaper I'd award 5 stars. I'm keen to try some chicken fries with cuttlefish or tomato powder on the batter next time. It's a relatively chill spot and I don't think it's as well known as it's competitors, Monga or Hot Star, but it holds its own imo.

The agreed contract price is 15.99 and that should be that. Later the cashier went to the back (assuming to talk to the manager/owner), and he gave me back a loonie (technically it should have been 1.13, but whatever). This place chose to use metal utensils instead of single use ones. The knife he gave me was quite disgustingly dirty (see pic). The food itself was decent. And for the amount of food, the price is very reasonable. I got the Raven Platter. My friend's fish platter was also decent, but looking at the texture and color, we couldn't tell if it was cooked thoroughly or not. We chose to keep eating and hope for the best. We walked into a busy, energetic space that stays lively throughout the day, with a steady flow of customers moving through the line. The dining room is casual and functional, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the atmosphere, and the bright, cheerful decor adds to the brand's playful identity. The Chickenjoy is easily the star of the menu. We ordered a few pieces and found the chicken had a crispy, well-seasoned coating while staying juicy inside, and it was even better dipped in the savory gravy that comes on the side. The spicy version added a noticeable kick without overpowering the chicken itself, and the balance of seasoning and heat made it a satisfying choice. The Peach Mango Pie is another must-order, with its flaky crust and warm, fruity filling that makes for one of the best fast food desserts around, and we found ourselves wishing we had ordered a second one. The Jolly Spaghetti is uniquely Filipino, featuring a sweet tomato sauce with sliced hot dogs and cheese, and while it is definitely different from traditional Italian pasta, it is worth trying if you want the full Jollibee experience. Other popular choices like the palabok and burger steak round out the menu with more Filipino-inspired flavors, giving you options beyond the standard fried chicken meal. The restaurant stays busy throughout the day, so waits during peak hours are common, but the staff generally keep orders moving as quickly as possible. Service is friendly, and despite the crowds, the dining room is usually kept clean and organized. The team handles the steady flow efficiently, and the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. Prices have increased over the years, making it less of a bargain than it once was, but the portions are satisfying and the food is consistently fresh. Jollibee remains one of the best fast food options if you are craving fried chicken with something a little different. Between the crispy Chickenjoy, iconic Peach Mango Pie, and unique Filipino menu, it is a place that is easy to recommend whether you are a longtime fan or visiting for the first time, offering a meal that feels both familiar and distinct, and a taste of Filipino fast food culture that stands out from the usual chains.
