Sing your heart out.
Joyce W.

You think you love karaoke? According to the Guinness World Book of Records, the record-holder for the longest karaoke marathon by an individual is held by Leonardo Polverelli. Lasting 101 hours, 59 minutes and 15 seconds, he sang a total of 1,295 songs from the 19th to 23rd of September 2011. I have to confess: I'm not a karaoke fan. Singing in the shower? Got it. Singing into a mic? Hate it. I'll sing along at a concert and I'll sing along with others at karaoke but only from the comfort in my seat. Been here twice so far. Both times, White Claws were had. This last visit had me sitting with ladies from my spin class. Dare I say, our table had the best legs in the joint that night? And I'm not talking the chicken appetizers! While not the best place to try to hold any serious conversations as I found my voice breaking a few times to be heard over the music but it was fun. And whoever sent me the fries, the waitress didn't say who you were, but thank you!

Service {Zack) was great. Salad - very heavy on the basil. Fresh ingredients. Pizza - looks good. Bottom crust soggy. Cubes of sausage. Karaoke - terrible. I would not return because of this. (Full disclosure - I am not a fan of karaoke.) Everyone there seemed to know each other. It seems like a good neighborhood hangout.

Went here on a Saturday night for karaoke and it was a blast! Maybe one of the most fun karaoke spots I've been to, garlic knots and boneless wings were delicious. I would definitely come back!

this is the pep pizza. please let me know if you see sauce and cheese
Brads P.

I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 medium everything and 1 large pep, wings, poppers which they didn't have so gave me onion rings instead. The pizza didn't even look close to what was on their website. It was all dough with almost no cheese and no sauce. the wings were good but a little dry with a little sauce. the bill came about to be $70 with a $20 tip. For that money, I could have gone to Barros and gotten better food and more of it. I did enjoy that they had a couple pool tables.

Amazing Karaoke Night at the 414. It was my first time here and it was amazing! Definitely a night to remember. 5/5

Alfredo and Pastas - Marinara

The food was utterly disappointing. $40 for a small amount of noodles and a microscopic amount of sauce. Not to mention the size of the chicken that was $5 extra. Want my money back.

This is the "chicken Alfredo" that they gave me no Alfredo sauce, old chicken, and dried up pasta

Ordered a "chicken Alfredo pasta" from this place on uber eats I opened the container to stale pasta no Alfredo sauce stale hard chicken that tasted old like it came from the bottom of the garbage and the smallest garlic knots I've ever seen for 38 dollars... I couldn't even bring myself to eat it didn't want to get sick just terrible never ordering from this place again. Completely unacceptable.

This is a hole in the wall, large dive bar. It is quite lively on weekend nights. There's lot of people singing karaoke but a good handful of them avoid the stage. Thus, the quality of the background noise is heavily dependent on whomever is on the mic. Note that it turns into a 21+ only establishment past 9pm. I tried out medium pizza (6 slices) and a monster cookie dessert and I can tell you that both items were lacking in flavor. I asked for no onions on my pizza but there was still onions in it somehow. This cost $32.24. Their parmesan cheese was in a bottle where the cheese was basically frozen so you can't even pour it out of the bottle; the crushed red peppers were in almost a similar type of bottle too.

Caprese Salad

Always on the lookout for an amazing caprese, which led us to try 414 Pub Pizza & Karaoke today. Alex was an amazing bartender who immediately greeted us, and made our visit! Thanks for taking our crazy joke of doing a song for karaoke and engaging other patrons to partake. Definitely not how I expected our Sunday afternoon to go! The caprese was served on a salad, which is not usually how I prefer but it was delicious for a mixed salad. The produce was all pretty fresh, and I definitely think was a solid salad for the price. The pasta being house made intrigued us, so we added that to our order as well. The Alfredo was delicious and the noodles were fantastic! If you are in the area, I would definitely check this place out.

Couldn't sleep, had an early flight, and needed a chill spot to vibe out. 414 Pizza Pub & Karaoke was the perfect late-night hang. They've got everything--darts, a pool table, karaoke, and some seriously ono grinds to keep you going. The karaoke crowd was small, so it's a perfect, no-pressure place for first-timers to belt out a tune. And bonus points: kids are not just welcome, they're encouraged to sing their little hearts out! If you're looking for a laid-back spot in Mesa to unwind, grab a slice, and maybe throw down some karaoke, this is it.

Chupacabra was open, was a three-minute drive, and had excellent reviews. So my decision was made. I parked on the street for free a minute away on foot. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical beer bar. Relatively small inside, but they also have a patio out front with picnic style seating. Casual. My type of bar. My only complaint? I hate picnic style seating because it doesn't give you back support. Which made me want to avoid the patio. Service (5/5): Super friendly service. The guy working the bar did a great job. I ordered one beer and called it a night. A seamless experience from beginning to end. They also have complimentary water in a water cooler, which is always a nice ou Food (N/A): I read they have food trucks, but I didn't see any when I visited. I had dinner prior anyway. Drinks (4.5/5): I love trying new beers and Chupacabra has an excellent selection. They have a rotating screen above the bar. Some interesting brews, ranging from local craft brews to quality European beers. This is not the type of place that has your typical assortment of mediocre beers. You'll find a lot better here. Overall, a cool spot in downtown Mesa. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the neighborhood!

My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

We started with a beer and the cauliflower appetizer--both were amazing! Just a heads-up: the cauliflower is a little spicy, but totally addictive. Our burgers arrived quickly. The onion rings and duck fat fries were on point with unique seasoning, and the homemade ketchup and pickles were a welcome surprise. We tried the PB&J burger, which was both creative and delicious. Very nicely decorated with their theme. The street view seating was shaded and the misters were on which kept it cool. Street traffic was a bit loud but not too bad, the front parking buffered the noise. Our server greeted us quickly and was jam packed with suggestions of comparable commercial beers to their brand of beers. Not going to lie, their brand is delicious and actually a bit better than the commercial brand We had their Dead out & Dont F it up. Dead out is a must try, I'm not in any way a dark ale person but this was by far more tasty than the Don't f it up. However both were wonderful. The food is not a reason to go. We both had tacos and shared onion rings. The meat was cooked perfectly but the sauce was less palatable, flavors were too overpowering and drenched sauce. It killed the flavor of the meat itself. When mentioned it to the server, she simply shrugged and stated they do have "heat", I said that it was too much on there, lifted a piece with my fork and it was dripping, covered. Heat was not the issue, too much was. The sauce itself was tasty, but took away from the dish. Had it been on a chip of a fry dipped into it would have been better. Duly noted, next ask for it on the side, let the meat itself shine through. Lastly, the onion ring were truly disappointing. Arrived a very cool room temperature. They arrived few minutes after the tacos, and after reminding the server as we had ordered them. Almost felt as if they were ready on time by the kitchen staff, she was purely overwhelmed and simply, forgot. Small portion and my opinion not an option on my future visit again. Soggy and very greasy, perhaps would have been better if served hot and on time. Worth a visit, may go again. Maybe. Definitely go for the extensive list of brews, here is where they shine.
