Cajun Crab Dip
Alyssa W.

Overall the food and service was good. Whenever I try new places I love to order a little of everything. Me and my bf both got drinks, we ordered 2 appetizers, lobster rolls and popcorn shrimp. I ordered the crab dip. It was tasty but came out lukewarm and I felt like it was mainly cheese and. It enough crab. A bit disappointed but still tasty. My lobster roll was yummy! The 404 sauce was hit and went well with my roll. The house chips were underwhelming. They weren't salted at all. My bf got the calamari as his app. It's served with a yummy sweet chili sauce. That SAUCE IS A MUST. He also ordered the half and half roll. Half crab and half lobster. The popcorn shrimp was fried perfectly. Our server/bartender Zach was friendly and took care of us! He was super apologetic about the lukewarm dip even though he didn't cook it. I can't wait to come back and visit. Side note: there's not a ton of parking... there's park table and overall pricing is fair for the portions.

Omg. The Half Lobster Half Crab roll is the best thing to ever happen to me. Soooooooo good! I enjoyed my experience. Had the Cajun crap dip (didn't like it), Lobster Roll, and Hennessy margarita. The latter 2 were amazing and I can wait to go back to get them again!!

I went to Crab404 with my girlfriends a few weekends ago on a Sunday evening (5 ish) to celebrate one of my best friend's birthday. I recommend using the reservation feature, if you like to plan in advance. They seem to have a well organized process, even with social distancing in place. I made the reservation online a few weeks prior to us going and placed a note in the reservation that we'd be celebrating her birthday. Our waitress remembered this detail, asked us if we were celebrating anything during dinner and the staff surprised her with a delicious cheesecake and a bday song (see the video) at the end of our meal. The overall experience was memorable in all areas from service to DELICIOUS food. Each of us ordered appetizers to share with each other and they were all good. I tried the hush puppies, fried oysters, fried calamari and mini crab cakes. The fried oysters were so good and I loved the sauce. I ordered the Bay Side Boil with an egg and it was hot and the legs were BIG! In fact we all ordered the same thing and we were impressed with the size of the clusters. I loved the spicy sauce too, but they do have milder options for those that don't. I will def. return in the future.

Crab and lobster roll with side of shrimp and fries with a floral-ish tasting beer.

This was a pleasant experience. I have to say it's not a fine dining place but I'm giving 5 stars because I couldn't find a reason not to. We were greeted immediately at walking in. I alway make such emphasis on customer service because it's easy to do and I have a background in service. Upon being seated we were thanked for coming in and we hadn't even done anything yet. When our server Matt came he was so very personable. There's nothing worse than a stick in the mud at a place that serves tap beer and jeans are permitted. So I truly appreciated his true to self demeanor. We talked like we were bros and that mattered. Our timing was just perfect to be out of Stella. However his suggestion was great one. Floral something... the appetizers were delish! He recommended the crab claws and shrimp and it was im this sauce/soup base that was thick and perfect to have as a base for my partner to make gumbo. Of course the kitchen wouldn't give usuch detail but surely I wish they would. Also we tried the poke. My partner said it was good so I'll take his word. The crab and lobster roll was really good as well. Typically these sandwiches are smaller and it was. However, this was one was tasty. And we changed from getting something else to both getting this sandwich and it was not a regret because honestly I wouldn't have wanted to share. I'm actually pretty ready to go back for round 2.

Bowl of gumbo

This was my first visit and probably the last. We ordered a margarita and glass of wine. The margarita was a little sweet but there were no efforts to fix it. We ordered fish and chips. That meal was ok. We also ordered lobster tacos. My tortillas were charred so I had to send them back. Once I tortillas that weren't burned I could taste the flavor they were good. We decided to order a bowl of gumbo to go. It took 30 minutes to be brought out. It cost $28. They brought the bag out and we were shocked at how small this "bowl" was for $30 ($2) tip included. Original order was $106 (gratuity was included; plus we rounded up). Look at these pictures. An 8 ounce cup (I measured) for $30. First and last time!

After seeing the TikTok videos I definitely had to come check them out buuut let's just say my expectations were way to high because the food was a big disappointment! Even tho the customer service was really good and our waiter was nice the prices were not worth it. Presentation is everything to me, unfortunately my entire order was looking dry and not a seasoned. I ordered the Half Dozen Steamed Oysters $14 and ended up adding some of the sauce that came with it on top of it to make it more saucy. The Cajun Crab Dip $10 came with some Crostinis that had a weird taste to it like it was soaked in too much oil. I ordered a side of Corn(2) $3 that looked like it was just sitting out and not buttery. The Hush Puppies were probably the best thing I ordered off the menu. Their located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. You can dine inside or outside and they also have a bar. We made reservations online but really didn't have to because we walked right in.

I first discovered Crab404 at the Taste of Atlanta festival. I tried their Lobster Roll sample there and fell in love! The staff at the tent were super nice and also gave me a free T-shirt. A few weeks later, I decided to try out their restaurant. It wasn't very busy for a weekday night, so we got seated and served very quickly. I had to order the Lobster Roll again and I tried the Crab Roll as well. They both were pretty good, but the Lobster Roll is definitely the way to go. I do recommend trying out their roll. I would like to try other items but I think their menu is a little pricy and the rolls were one of the cheaper options (but still pricy).

Order: Lobster roll w/ side of hushpuppies Brussel sprouts (roasted w/ balsamic dressing Draft Stella Highlight: The hushpuppies were the highlight of my experience! They were soo good and it's hard for me to find good pupps outside of my hometown Charleston. I could probably eat 2 orders by myself! Downfall: I paid $19 for the lobster roll and it just wasn't good. This sandwhich should be $10 max...if that. I get that the cost is due to lobster being expensive but if you're gonna charge that much the dish must be worth it. The roll itself was perfectly buttered & toasted but the lobster was quite overcooked. Also it was literally just bread and the roll. No pizazz or nothing. They provided a side of melted butter and some sort of honey mustard-esque sauce. Both dipping sauces were underwhelming. They need to mix old bay into that melted butter to make it do a lil something. Experience: There was no wait, my waiter was perfect, and they have ample parking. Overall this place is okay but as a seafood restaurant I expect a little more from your seafood dishes.

Lobster fried rice

Loved the lobster fried rice and she crab soup. We requested a spicy sauce on the side that paired well with it also. Comes with yum yum and sweet chili sauce. But we like it add a little spice somethings. Overall very good.

Great service and friendly staff. The food is delicious, only thing I wasn't impressed with was the crab claws. The claws themselves were of quality but the sauce was weird and left a strange after taste. I think they should create a new sauce. I can't express how dissatisfied I was with the sauce. I really hope they change it.

Lobster Roll with hush puppies

I visited Crab404 early on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I was really looking forward to trying out the restaurant after reading all the great reviews. I opted for the lobster roll and the hush puppies. The positives: * The roll was a proper New England split-top roll which was perfectly buttered and grilled. * There was a decent amount of lobster in the roll with a couple of whole claw pieces. * The 404 sauce had a nice honey mustard flavor, without being overbearing, though I didn't use it on the lobster roll. * Waitstaff was very friendly, quick and helpful. * The restaurant has a nautical theme and there is a nice sized private party/overfill room in the back. * Bathrooms were clean The negatives: * Lobster was over cooked. * Hush puppies were very greasy, had little flavor, and were just barely warm when served. I will say, I'm a New Englander so my lobster roll standards are quite high and unfortunately the offerings at Crab404 just didn't measure up.

Came for restaurant week order lobster roll and Keylime pie for $20 POSITIVES : There was lots of lobster in the roll and there was sauce to put on top, but I like mine just lobster! Negatives: It was too salty and a bit on the dry side. Maybe because of the butter being salted? The roll was soft ( Hawaiian roll) The Key lime pie was exceptional, true key limes were used ( I can tell I lived in Florida). Service at the bar was good. Bartender was very attentive.

Service and the ambience was awesome. Our server was friendly and professional. I've been to…read moreJamaica several times and wanted to try something new, I ordered curry seafood rundown with sorrel soda. My friend ordered the two protein combination. We could have shared hers! Her choices were oxtails and jerk chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese. I'm literally going back to order what she had. The curry was sweet with a little heat. The collard greens had some heat, too, but the Mac and cheese smooths it out. We would have gotten dessert but we had to rush to a concert. My friend says the desserts are exquisite. Tonight's special was a white chocolate bread pudding with Bailey's. I came back later!!! I had an errand which drove me right past here. I got that white chocolate bread pudding and the two protein combination. There was so much meat. I wish I had more sides. As anticipated, the food was delicious. When my Bestie and fellow YELP VIP comes to visit, I am taking her here.

We went to Chef Rob's with a group of coworkers. The place was easy to access but the service was…read morerather terrible. The food was just ok and very expensive for the "just ok". Also a heads up - they do not offer complimentary water. They have bottled water, which is $3 each. The server - just couldn't be bothered. We had questions and she acted put out that we expected answers and assistance.
