Only gripe I hav is the damn bathroom situation. That's a problem. One stall each in both men and women. Sheesh!! Other than that. This spot is actually perfectly located near all the poppin spots. Really doesn't start kickin off till near closing time it gets fasho lively then. Pizza wasn't bad at all either. I'll be honest. I don't expect it to be as good as it was. Pasta was solid too. Wait staff was very polite and responsive. Music was good with the live DJ. Definitely why I would consider a pre party before the party spot. IMO.. I have been to Sauce countless times and enjoyed the service, food, drinks and hookah with no issues at all. I invited some friends out for Happy Hour last week, before going to a show at Buckhead theater SPECIFICALLY because of the menu on their website. I arrived at 7:30 to order some hookah, drinks and pizza ahead of my friends' arrival at 8pm. Only to be charged $45 for hookah, and regular price for the entire menu. I spoke to 2 servers, a manager and the hookah guy and showed them their own website. They eventually said they would "work something out" for me, as if it was a favor only to tell me it would be $40 for hookah, $10 for 2 kinds of pizza and $14 for a don julio "deal" when $14 is their normal price. I am not cheap, but it felt completely ridiculous for them all to acknowledge their online advertisement but basically tell me "oh well". I left and went to Cavo around the corner. I'm not one to let people just play in my face. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night around 11:30 PM. There were only about 3 other parties there and the late menu in effect. The late menu is wings, tacos, salads, and maybe a few other things. We wanted wings and fries but they don't have fries only oven roasted potatoes. Some ordered 12 lemon pepper flat wings and the potatoes. This spot offers hookah FYI. We didn't opt for any but the fruit combinations that other guests were getting smelled really good. Back to the food - the wings and potatoes came out in about 10 minutes. The Lemon pepper flavor was great. My only complaint was that the wings seemed over fried or maybe refried from earlier. Not really sure. The potatoes were good and we had them with a side of barbecue sauce since ketchup wasn't available. The music was loud but on trend. The other guests all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm visiting Atlanta for a few days and this was a cool stop. read more

Cramped space, overpriced, and underwhelming in all ways. The food is nothing to write home about, just your usual uninspired Buckhead bar fare of wings, pasta, and chicken tenders for way too much $$$. Could be salvageable but the service is just not the best, the bar can barely make a decent margarita and the prices for shots are definitely up there. It's also impossible to park here and valet is mandatory, no street parking available around this area so if you're forced to be here for some reason, Uber/Lyft is encouraged, lest you be towed and they are very tow happy here. There are many bars like this one in the area, you can skip Sauce. read more

So I was walking around the area and I decide to stop in to sauce. It's in a bar district so it's one of many bars that are located in that area. I went during a weekday so it really wasn't crowded but I've seen it on the weekend and it could be pretty active. That indoor and outdoor seating so it depends on what you want. They have hookah there So if you're into that hookah thing, this is for you. They have somebody actually outside prepping those for people who want to smoke. You come in the front door and you see the bar, there's a decent size bar, not really big but it's decent. And there's some tables on the other side. If you go to the next room, that's pretty much where you'll get the sitting room you want. If you want to sit at a table, this will be the best place for that. Now the time that I went I did not get food most recently, but I have gotten pizza there before and it was really good. If you're in the area, I would go. Just to stop in for a drink or some food. The pizza and the wings in the past have been pretty good, I probably have to try them again but they have been good so that's the only thing I can go off of, I will suggest those. It's a typical Atlanta bar so you get what you get, if you know what that means then you already know what that means lol. read more

As soon as you walk in the small bar is in front of you, the server's POS is to the right in a cubbyhole, against the wall to the left are a few tables accompanied by a red communal red leather couch. On the opposite side of the lounge is a bigger area with booths & more communal seating. The biggest seating area is the "portable" enclosed patio. This place is a vibe! It's in the Buckhead area of Atl. I was in town for the weekend to hang out with family and so glad I stumbled on it. The vibe is awesome chilled out. They play a good mix of R&B and hip hop & they have a nice diverse crowd of young professionals. The wait staff is so friendly & nice. They helped us pick out hookah flavors and recommended drinks. They checked in on us often but not too much, just enough to feel tended to. The service was fast. We got a bottle of champagne and 1 hookah for 5. We were seated outside which was great. Inside seating is a bit more crowded for my liking. The bathrooms needed some attention and maintenance. There isn't much street parking so be prepared to pay at a lot . They are open late which is nice and a kitchen that's open late but we didn't get any food. Overall a great spot to checkout for fun vibes good music and hookah. I had a chance to check out this spot on a Thursday evening with one of my frat brothers who has been constantly talking about it. I arrived around 6:30pm and I was literally the first customer there. I sat inside since it was cool that evening. The customer service was good and our waitress was attentive. The ambience gave a lounge vibe. I ordered the salmon pizza and henessey margarita. So they do not have an actual drink menu but they can pretty much make whatever you want with the liquor they have. The pizza was good and filling. My drink was good as well. A couple more people came but it was still very empty. Maybe because it was a weekday night. They had music playing and they have hookah as well. I would be interested in checking it out on the weekend and also sit outside. read more

First time going here and I thought this place was pretty cool. It's located in Buckhead kind of near the Buckhead bars. Parking is tricky but they offer valet. Sauce has a chill and laidback vibe to it. Looks like this establishment is pretty new though and I can tell the staff really tries to make the guests feel comfortable. The waitresses were extremely nice and helpful. They help me pick out a drink when I was trying to think of what to order. They can make just about any drink you can think of if you tell them. For their main entrees, they offered mostly Italian food like pasta, pizza, etc. I had ordered the jerk chicken tacos and they were good and had a nice kick to it- as in the spicy-ness. Also, it had a great flavor to it and it was topped with cabbage type slaw and cilantro. For my drink I had the Tequila sunrise. It was so delicious and pretty too if you're into aesthetics and such. Lol The hookah was good. I recommend the mint and watermelon flavors. Overall, Sauce is a chill new establishment, if you're in that area check it out. read more

Sauce Buckhead has so much potential if they were to run this place right. The atmosphere here gives outdated, boring, and old. The food is over priced for the portion size and flavor. But what's worse is there are roaches in the kitchen and they do not follow food safety guidelines. Meaning meats and fresh produce are left on the floor in the walk in, there's boxes of food left in the walk in with mold on them, and raw meats are sometimes stored above fresh produce which is a huge no no and an even bigger safety concern. This place has potential, but the people running it need to follow food and safety guidelines and ensure that the kitchen staff has the proper certifications to be serving the public food. Which they do not. Anybody eating here please do so with caution. read more

Buckhead's newest Gem.. I haven't been out in buckhead in a while but having friends in town since ATL is open open we decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad that we did . From the time we walked in the customer service was AMAZING! The wait staff / manager was so so patient and polite. There was a mixup with our seating , we ended up sitting down at a spot that was already reserved for someone else . The manager I can't remember his name ( Tall African American guy ) politely told us that there was a mix up and someone else has this table. He took it a step further and found us another spot to sit at which in actuality was more bigger and accommodating for our party of 4 . We ended up ordering a Peach Mango hookah ( Amazing ) the hookah was $40.00 and they made sure that the coals was lit for as long as we had it . We also order the salmon pizza which was on artisan crust and seasoned to perfection... I can't wait to try everything else on the menu .The food is fairly priced. The salmon pizza we had was enough for 4 people and it was very filling . On the way out the door the manger walked us out and thanks us for coming I mean who does that . Went here on a date but wasn't sure what to expect. I saw a video posted that Thursday is like their "turn up" night. I was a little hesitant because of safety reasons regarding Covid. Nevertheless, I went and wasn't too disappointed. Parking is iffy. They have valet parking options, paid parking lot, but it's kind of hard to know the best place to park. When we arrived, the host was nice. The place is kind of small but they did have the small crowd spaced out fairly well. They do have outdoor seating which worked well. We arrived around 10:00 so the wait time was not even 5 minutes. This is like a restaurant/lounge spot. They have hookah and music playing. They have a bar area but it's small. The menu was ok. They have pizza, pasta, salad options. The prices are typical Buckhead prices but not too bad. We ordered a chicken and shrimp Alfredo and their scallops entree. The scallops were served a la carte so I paired it with potatoes. The food came out quickly and it was piping hot. The scallops were really good and the fried potatoes were ok. We asked about the pizza but we decided to go a different direction. We did see the pizzas and they looked good. Maybe we can try them on another visit. Well looks can be somewhat deceiving. For whatever reason(based off of their IG I suppose) , I assumed a more upscale vibe as the overall atmosphere of this establishment. Decor: Seems as though Sauce is a hybrid of day party/lounge/semi upscale environment. Visited on a Wednesday night and was pretty underwhelmed by the decor. The location of the bathrooms isn't ideal for staff or customers as it's right next to the POS system for servers. Service: our waitress was nice but terribly slow. Looked out the window and saw her smoking hookah a few times while our drinks were waiting to be picked up at the bar. Asked for crushed pepper for the pizza and napkins to which I eventually had to retrieve myself. Food: i got the pepperoni salami pizza and my friend got the meatball pizza. The meatball definitely beat out the pepperoni but the sauce was a little bland. I'm willing to give it another try. I REALLLLLLYYYY want to like this place read more

Amazing new restaurant in Buckhead! We visited opening weekend and it didn't disappoint. From the moment you walk into the doors you are treated like Italian royalty. Courtney was our server for the evening and she was so attentive to our every need. She suggested wine pairing and appetizers the moment we sat down. I ordered the margarita pizza and meatballs, both were very flavorful as if I were seated in a restaurant in the middle of Rome! The music was great and the crowd was upscale. The managers and owners continued to come by to check on us throughout the evening to confirm we were well taken care of. Needless to say I would give it 6 stars if Yelp would let me. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! The food quality of this restaurant has gone downhill and service as well. I was so excited to come eat the lamb chops, only to be disappointed. The first order of lamb chops came out to tough and burnt, keep in mind I ordered it medium well. Second remake of the lambchops came out raw and I ordered it medium the second go around. I was so upset and felt sick after biting into the completely raw lambchop. The manager pushed for me to still pay for the food because apparently they have an "All sales is final policy." I absolutely refused to pay for something I couldn't eat and just paid for my drinks and left. ALSO the picture of the lambchops online and restaurant menu are very Deceiving. The lambchops are VERY SMALL like lollipops. They also cut the fat off the lamb chops instead of letting the guest have the option to do it themselves. The portion of the meat is not adequate nor sufficient to the cost of $36. I left my contact information and hopefully someone can return my call because I feel sick and now have to go to the Urgent Care. read more

I've been to this establishment twice and I've been disappointed both times. I love to support black owned businesses but ultimately what makes this place suffer is the lack of communication among staff along with the pricing of menu items in comparison to what you get. The first time I went here was a few weeks ago, and one thing I like is that it's a chill spot ducked off in Buckhead with great music. So if you're looking for a place to come and vibe and smoke a hookah (which is good hookah btw) with decent music, this is definitely a plus. Now... onto the reasons WHY this place frustrates me the way that it does. Both times I've had the same waitress. I wish we knew her name but she never told us what her name was. We also BARELY saw her. If you say you need a few mins to check out the menu she won't come back for at least another 30. And you rarely even see her helping other tables, so where is she? Not to mention both times I've placed an order for food it's been FORGOTTEN ABOUT. The first time i was there, I had to remind her twice about the jerk chicken tacos that I ordered and never received.... and when they finally came out it wasn't even something to rave about. They put the jerk chicken in some tomato paste gravy.... absolutely not. The second time which was last night, I ordered a 12pc lemon pepper wing.... again other people's food came out, and my plate was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. I definitely have to thank the tall gentleman who usually is the host and brings people to their seats because he looked into the issue to find out what happened and made sure to put in an order in for the wings that were missing, because they weren't even back there. And again... when they finally showed up, what did they taste like? Despair. $15 for tacos and $19 for wings.... WINGS. Not to mention they service charge everything, so on top of the menu prices that don't compare up to the food, you have to pay a lot more. She's always forgotten us and the only time we saw her frequently was when it was her time to collect the money. With staff communication, it seems like they barely talk to each other. The first time we were there, it seemed like there was a miscommunication with the waitress we had and the chef and the bartender with stuff being late. This time. we asked our waitress for the hookah server... she didn't come. We had to flag her down because our waitress didnt tell her to come to our table to get our hookah order. We also had friends coming and multiple staff members came over to hound us asking questions about the table space and seating probably to make sure we weren't holding a big table for just two people. And back to our waitress... as we were closing out the tab she brings over the receipt and said "oh because this tab is over $100 we have to charge one card. It's company policy." Excuse me what? The fact that I was there a few weeks ago and we were able to get the tabs split and everyone had their own check but now they couldn't do it was beyond me. The tab was only going to be split between me and my friend. So they now don't split checks. Foolishness. She or not anyone else asked to take the wings off as a courtesy since I waited close to two hours for those wings that were forgotten about. I want to like this place I really do but there's just too much disorganization especially amongst the staff and the waitress we had. Disappointing. read more

Well where do I start. First, the drinks are horrible. I asked for a Long Island, regular. The waitress gave me top shelf anyway. And the drinks were still weak. I have no idea how I drank 2 TOP SHELF LONG ISLANDS and no where near buzzed. Secondly, the food options are mid. The pizza I got was absolutely horrible and tasted like it was bought from Walmart. I had 3 drinks and a pizza and my bill was $100. Like, I get we're in buckhead, but that's insane. The server we had was trying her best but it seems as if she wasn't trained properly. The parking in the area is horrible. The spot is a rather small one and that's okay. But the seating, man.... I felt like I was sitting on a cushion with legs. It's almost like the sections aren't separated at all. I've been to a few bad places, but this topped it. I don't even leave reviews but for this I had to.
