Over the summer they had a Leo party. I came back for a Wednesday Winddown. This charming restaurant is located in North Buckhead and off the busy Roswell Road. Valet parking only but usually complimentary. The menu is like a South African and Asian fusion. The happy hour slaps - $7 drinks and half price appetizers. The DJ and staff are really chill. More people are coming out to this spot as it's fairly new - it's dimly lit and a good vibe. The bar isn't the biggest but there's a few high top tables in the bar area. The main dining room is up front and perfect for a special occasion. The rest of the lounge are booths and high top tables. It's good to mingle and meet new people without the crazy crowds. Try this spot out when you're in the area.

We had just came back from an event and needed a little night cap, so we landed at Nala. I can't believe I hadn't been here before! The décor was beautiful and the staff was awesome. We sat at the bar, Meg was our bartender (loved her!!!) We ordered the Nala Rita for our drinks, it was so good, also so strong (if you are a lightweight like me)))))) We had also ordered deviled eggs and French fries for some light bites. Both were delicious and seasoned well. I was glancing at the rest of their menu, and there were some appetizing options that caught my attention, so I will be back to explore their entrées.

Such a vibe and what a little gem! I don't think too many people know about this spot and when I say it's pretty, it is PRETTY. Came here just for a little cocktail on a Sunday afternoon, and decided to get some fries and their eggs.. let me tell you, it was cute, small but intimate. They had booths for a party yet we sat at the bar, and their eggs were sooo smooth. I have never had caviar before today, Mwah! 5 stars. Service was good, fries was good and that "no-lita" margarita hit the spot! You gotta come here. Happy hour is until 8 Monday to Thursday so I will have to venture back! Beautiful place, great vibe and great service.

We visited Nala to celebrate my friend's birthday. Upon arrival, the parking situation was a bit chaotic--cars were lined up waiting for valet service, but there was only one attendant handling everything. Parking was $10. I arrived early and figured I could sit or stand in the waiting area, but the tables were positioned right at the door, leaving little space. Instead, I sat at the bar and ordered a Sprite and deviled eggs. The ambience was nice; very aesthetically pleasing with great music selections. Once the birthday girl arrived, our party was seated near the front door. Unfortunately, that area was freezing. Several of us asked the waitress if the air could be adjusted, and she kindly accommodated at first. However, after a while it became just as cold again, and when I asked again, she explained that management preferred it that way. That gave me the impression that customer comfort wasn't a priority, which was disappointing. For my entrée, I ordered the salmon bites with verde rice (a first for me). The rice was green, which honestly reminded me of Green Eggs and Ham--an unexpected presentation. Someone else in our party ordered the lamb chops, which looked delicious and came with a generous portion. If I return, that's probably what I'd order. As for service, one bartender didn't seem very approachable--similar to what I'd read in another review--but thankfully, Jay, the bartender who helped me, was polite and attentive. Overall, Nala has a nice vibe and is worth visiting for the ambience. I'd return if invited to an event here, but it's not the kind of place I'd find myself craving on a random day. Tip: bring a sweater in case you sit in the front!

Visited Nala last weekend for my bestfriend's birthday, looking for an intimate chill after dinner cocktail bar, and Nala was the perfect ending to our night! Our bartender - Jeremy - was very professional and patient with us as we were indecisive on our cocktail order, he took the time to recommend their most popular cocktails and explained each one in great detail. Jeremy went over and beyond to make us feel relaxed & welcomed, he even took the time to make my bestfriend a personalized espresso martini for her birthday. If you're looking for a chill date night or girls night out, Nala is highly recommended! And don't forget to ask for the bartender - Jeremy!

Went here for a birthday dinner. Started at the bar with drinks which took a minute because there was only ONE bartender making drinks for the bar and seated restaurant guests. The margarita was good and wasn't too strong. When we made it to our seats we shared brussells sprouts and deviled eggs which were delicious. The entrees were good but not all that. The lamb chops were good and tender with a nice glaze. The cake would have been decent if it was room temperature and not cold af. I did not care for the $-10 valet because why do I need someone speeding in my car. There was literally no where else to park. I hate when restaurants require you to valet. You're already paying pretty pennies to eat and drink why do I have to pay someone to park my car and be rough with it?

Glad I had the opportunity to check out Nala on a Monday night with a group of 5 friends. We made a reservation but it wasn't necessary for the 630 time. There is valet parking out front. Interior is dark and moody with bar areas, big booths, and smaller tables for smaller parties. Music is playing and hookah is available as well. Food was delicious! We enjoyed the French fries, Brussels, sliders, and deviled eggs. Wings were so so. Happy hour here until 7 on weekdays! They also serve brunch. Looking forward to trying more of the menu like the salmon bites or lobster Mac and cheese.

What a night! The official soft grand opening of Nala was nothing short of sensational. The ambiance is truly enchanting--a perfect blend of vintage chic and modern luxury. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and the food? Absolutely top-tier! Chef Sosa did his thing! I can't wait to watch this stunning restaurant bloom and make its mark on the neighborhood.

What stood out most to me was the attention to detail--both in the food and in the overall dining experience. Nala has the kind of charm that makes you want to come back again and again. If you're looking for a place that combines amazing food, great service, and a cozy yet chic atmosphere, I highly recommend giving Nala a try. It's easily one of my new favorite spots!

First off, my review includes constructive criticism and understanding, as this location is newly opened. A group of six (6) came here for dinner/drinks. There was valet, $10, which I paid after receiving my car. There was a situation where a ridiculous amount was given to someone in my party (in which she did not pay). The waitress told us it should be $10 for everyone. She did alert mgmt. The outcome...who knows but they were made aware. We frequent a lot of tapas locations and their tapas section does not give tapas, it's giving entree with entree prices. Tapas in my opinion are small plates at a fair amount in which you can select multiple dishes and create your meal. The literal definition is appetizer or snack. Maybe consider not saying tapas. The sides include many, if not all, starches (rice, potatoes, fries, mac n cheese, etc.) and I believe 1 vegetable. Maybe add some other veggies or something not of the starch family (and trust me I love them). It just wasn't many options. Regarding the waitress, she was very nice and attentive. There were a few things that could've been stated at the beginning such as this establishment not splitting the bill for a certain amount of people. It's matters...bc I didn't know 2 people with my party and I'm not going to be held responsible for someone's bill or trust them to "pay me back". Also, the sliders were undercooked. It's wasn't asked of the temperature when ordering. Maybe it was overlooked, it happens but be mindful to prevent food being sent back. We did inquire on the hookah portion. Online previewed this much differently, but I believe that was an influencers page so no harm no foul. Apparently, per our waitress, it's a separate area and you need a reservation and it's bottle service. I believe she got us a reservation but we decided to not partake as we were not interested in "bottle service". The foods that were ordered were good regarding taste and presentation. Everyone we encountered was very courteous...when entering, our waitress, at the bar, and management. Overall, not sure if I would be back but again, this is a new location, so they have to get going. Hope everyone has a great experience that decides to stops by.

Nala Kitchen & Cocktails is stunning. Beautiful plush seating. Beautiful artwork. The service is incredible as well as the food. Chef Sosa, formerly of the Four Seasons, has curated a delicious menu, with something for every palate. Some of my favorites included the salad options, the peri peri wings, & the spicy mussels. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant one day soon.

Every aspect of this spot was excellent. Had the Prime beef open face. It busted with flavor and tenderness all in one. Will definitely come again. Hats off to the chef.

This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!
