Lots of different hookah flavors. A bit expensive but would go back. Nice looking place.

I had a very disappointing first experience at Nala while celebrating a birthday. Despite having a reservation, our high-top table was given away, and we were seated at an unstable table in what felt like the worst possible location, right behind the host and near the ordering registers. The table and chairs were also stained and dirty, and our waitress tried to balance the rocking table with a notecard, which obviously didn't work. Half of the menu was sold out, and we weren't informed that the broccolini was unavailable until after we ordered it. Instead, we received a few extremely salty, over-seasoned broccoli florets. My food was even served on top of an open drink menu, and we went most of the night without napkins. By the time we were ready to leave, our waitress finally brought us coaster-style napkins because apparently that was all they had. washed up celebrities in & out. crowds of people surrounding our table coming out the lounge. Music so loud can't even hear or have a simple conversation without shouting. What really shocked me was being served PLASTIC CUTLERY in a bag at a restaurant advertised as upscale. The same plastic cutlery served at American deli!!!!! I have NEVER experienced that at an upscale restaurant. Overall, the service and attention to detail were extremely disappointing. It felt like the restaurant caters more to its lounge than its dining experience and doesn't know how to manage both simultaneously. As an out-of-towner celebrating a special occasion, I expected a much better experience. I've honestly received better service at a buffet. I will never return to Nala, and I would not recommend it to anyone to spend their money on poor quality dining.

I was very surprised at how seasoned this catfish was. It was really good and I'm a sucker for a well seasoned catfish grits a lot of times places make these dishes and it tends to be very bland. The drinks are really good and if you're not careful, they will sneak up on you whoever the bartender happened to be this particular day was really good at mixing a drink so you really couldn't taste the alcohol but after about two drinks, you definitely knew the alcohol was there. Our server was pretty new and she did warn us beforehand that it was only like her first week so she didn't have all the answers to everything which was OK because we tend to look up things before coming to a restaurant anyway however, she was still delight to have she gave us some suggestions on things she did try Was very honest about some of the things that she didn't really care for. They do have a live Dj every single night from what the server was telling us and they have drink specials every night as well so if you're looking for after work, just kind of off of the mental stress of the 9 to 5 I think this might be the place to add to your list. The food here was pretty good and we did go for brunch so I'm excited to see what their dinner menu looks like and I think that might be a visit I have later on in the week so stay tuned !!!

TLDR: one of my favorite ATL restaurants, lamb tuetano bone marrow tacos are a stand out. Remember…read moreto validate parking immediately. This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

We kicked things off with a couple of incredible Mezcal cocktails that were perfectly balanced and full of flavor. For lunch, we ordered the ribeye tacos and the chicken with mole sauce, and both dishes were outstanding. The ribeye tacos were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the mole sauce on the chicken was rich, authentic, and unforgettable. A huge shout-out to our server, Oscar, who made the entire experience even better. He was attentive, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the kind of service that keeps you coming back. The ambiance deserves just as much praise. The music, décor, and overall atmosphere created a sophisticated, grown-and-sexy vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed date lunch. It's one of those places where you can enjoy amazing food, great cocktails, and simply take your time. Casi Cielo has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!
