After visiting two other places with my friend to find somewhere to enjoy hookah and drinks, we came upon Planet Hookah Cafe. First off, upon arriving to the parking lot and getting out of my car, I did notice a lot of broken glass in the parking lot which is normally a sign of break-ins. I made sure to hide and be valuable and lock my door upon exiting. I'll parked in the view of the cafe, so I figure if anything were to happen I will be able to see it. Upon walking into the establishment, there were quite a few signs up as well stating customers to lock their cars and be aware of their surroundings. We realize that the cafe did not sell alcoholic beverages nor had a full food menu but, we were able to bring in our own food as well as drink which was not a problem being that there was a liquor store in the shopping complex and quite a few food options. My friend and I ordered a hookah which was ready and delivered to our table before we even got settled. So, the service with the hookah is definitely top tier as there are individuals coming around with first coals. The hookah was also reasonably priced and had a great flavor to it. My friend and I will enjoying our time so much, she actually left and ran an errand and came back. I ended up ordering some food from a neighboring restaurant and my friend ordered fries from the cafe which were extremely delicious. I'm not quite sure what type of ranch or ketchup they use but, it tastes homemade and went really well with the fries. I love the consistency of the hookah here. And Atlanta you have a lot of places that sell hook up at this is a actual hookah place. Consistent quality, always chill. They have TVs that are usually playing sports but it is not a sports bar or lounge. So it's a good place if you want to come with friends and have conversations where you can actually hear one another but it's also a place where you can have quality in Hookah. There's tons of comfy couches, lounge chairs, and tables. They have outdoor seating as well. I don't smoke hookah but my friend does and she really enjoys it here! She tried a mix of the mint & peach flavor. We also got pizza and hot tea to share. The presentation of the tea was so freaking cute!! Came here on a Friday evening to kill some time while doing some laundry at the laundromat next door. It got pretty busy but there was no wait. We ordered at the register, hookah and two Turkish coffees came to about $22? Pretty reasonable prices! The vibes were great and chill. They played pretty relaxing music and it seemed like a great place to just chill with your friends or a group of people. We saw some groups play cards, some were working on laptops, and some were just chatting. Prior to going, we were considering eating there but no menu was posted online so we had no idea what prices were like or even what options were offered. I started coming to Planet Hookah a few months ago and it has quickly become a frequent place that I visit. The staff is incredibly nice and are very attentive. I have been especially impressed by the owner. He is at Planet Hookah quite often and helps his staff tremendously by taking orders and cleaning up tables. They even started a new rewards program where after accumulating a certain number of points, you can get $20 off an order. Also their smoothies are incredibly delicious. The music they play is relaxing, but not too loud where I can't enjoy my own tunes on my headphones. They have a good selection of smoothies that are made from fresh ingredients (no syrups). The attendant who greeted me at the counter (Mouna) was very knowledgeable and friendly. I received my hookah and smoothie within 5 minutes of ordering, and they let me choose to either pay up front or start a tab. Everything seems to be priced very reasonably. They use natural coconut coals and another attendant checked in on me within a few minutes to ensure I enjoyed my shisha flavor. I am so happy I found this spot and now go whenever I want a chill hookah night with friends where we can actually hear eachother (for some reason almost all hookah spots want to transform into clubs on weekends now which i'm not a fan of). It has a very chill homey vibe, the staff is super friendly, seating is comfortable, and the hookah is great. It doesn't even burn after smoking for 2.5 hours between 2-3 people and if you know your hookah, you know that's a big deal. My first time was a pleasant experience. There were numerous hookah flavors to choose from. The turkish coffee was piping hot and tasty. The staff refilled the coals for the hookah constantly. You had a choice of being outside or inside. Inside had very large TVs and and was nicely airconditioned. However, inside was naturally a little smokey so I tried it outside. Finally I found a lady who called herself an organizer to help us out. She vanished in minutes. After 10 mins of waiting we found ourselves a place to sit. Hookah and soft drinks need to be ordered at the counter. They do not do table service. That took 15mins as the guy on the register had no clue of how to use it. Planet Hookah was the first in my tour. 4 stars for the place being very spacious with ample amount of seating. The ambience was nice and quiet with a ton of people focusing on their laptops or the many TV's displayed around the room. I will say that their hookah definitely does not compare to the smooth taste of Therapy's which is why I deducted a star. I have yet to come across a place like that in Atlanta.
