Note to self: next time, do a quick scout because after settling in the front area--cute with fabulous lighting--I stumbled upon a backroom that oozes moody, intimate vibes. After our little game of hide-and-seek, the lady who attended to us was as delightful as a peach. She even brought ice and mixers for our BYOB setup--oh, and a little tip, bring your own snacks too if you fancy! Ambiance: Darlin', if you're into marble floors, walls, and soft moody lighting, this place is a southern belle's dream for ambiance. It's giving sophisticated charm with just the right touch of mystery. Taste & Textures: Honey, this hookah was nothing short of a revelation! High-quality, smooth as butter. I got the Love 66 and vanilla mix--let me tell y'all, it was a match made in flavor heaven. Value: Let's talk numbers--hookah, no refill, a Red Bull, and some ice set us back about $47. Now, call me picky, but for that price, I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for a happy hour deal! TLDR: If you're not too far from the area, it's a solid spot for some quality vibes and good hookah. 3.5 A friend and I had finished brunch and were wanting some hookah. If you haven't noticed, there aren't many good Hookah places in midtown, so you almost have to leave the city to find one. Babylon was closed until 6PM and we had an hr to kill. He told me about this place and decided to try it out.... Now, I love supporting small business and will come back for sure... The outside looks a bit "hole in the wall", but when you go inside, the setup is quite nice. Drapes for every seating area which gives you privacy. This is a cool spot to bring a date. One of the servers said they are getting a remodel in 2 weeks, so I can't wait to see the new look. The place seems like they sell hookah products and serve as a hookah lounge. Music is good and I believe the place is Byob! We sat outside and the seating is cozy and seems like a chill spot at night. I do have some constructive criticism. I looked up and noticed all the flies on the hanging objects (not sure what those are). Something definitely need to be done about that. That seems like a health issue. Also, some of the furniture is broken and worn out. Maybe this will be replaced in the remodel but seating outside wasn't the most comfortable. Last, outside on top of the clear roof is a bunch of foliage and you can hear birds chirping and moving all the time. Kinda grossed me out a bit. That could be the reason for the flies. You never know what's up there, and it just makes the appearance look better outside. I will definitely come back because the location is dope and the place has lots of potential. This is a no frills, chill hookah spot. If you're looking for razzle dazzle turn up vibes go down the street. This place is great during the day if you want to change up your WFH environment as they have free wifi and the music isn't too loud. The inside is very intimate with curtains hanging in between different seating areas for a bit a privacy. The shisha options are plentiful and they use coconut coals. They also offer non-alcoholic beverages and you're allowed to eat food on their recently updated patio area. I will say some of the hookahs could honestly be replaced as I have seen a few with what appears to be black mildew and I have asked them to change it with no issues. A relaxed hole-in-the-wall Ethiopian owned hooka spot (NO outdoor business sign). Though music is always thumping, it's just a kick back spot. They also offer beverages; hot tea to Ethiopian smoothies. Entrance/parking: Adjacent to the "BOOKS" shop. You can park in any of the lots- albeit sketchy- nothing has happened to my car in all my visits. Enter through the sliding translucent doors. Atmosphere/Space: What makes Addis unique is the varanda. Enclosed by translucent glass and stuffed with plush pillows, it imbues a cabana. The interior is that of a traditional hooka spot-low lying sofas in 7 sections; seating 4 to 6 ppl. They have a T.V. in both locations. Play music constantly throughout out the day- STRICTlY hip-hop/light afro beat. Sadly, no Ethiopian music. Clientele: Mostly black American, East Africans and Nigerians. Hooka: They have many flavors- menu is inconspicuously plastered on the table. I always pick the cheapest al-faker brand. It's good. If I have issues, I go to the register to get it resolved. One thing I advise is to NOT wait for the servers to come check-up on you. Physically go up to them for all your needs. -approximate hooka costs: $15 daytime, $22 at night. This is definitely my absolute favorite hookah lounge in the Atlanta. Located off or Clairmont Road near Buford Highway, there is a lot of off street parking. You are greeted with the warm hospitality of the employees. In the spring, summer and fall I take full advantage of the outdoor patio. Enjoyed having lunch and after work meetings while taking in the beautiful rays from the sun. The option of the indoor lounge is great too. The decor/ambiance definitely reminds me of lounges in the middle east. The music is always great and constantly changing. This is an alcohol free lounge however they serve soft drinks, tea, coffee and fresh fruit smoothies that are absolutely delicious. I can honestly say I have made great connections simply by being present. Addi's is a place where people come to unwind from a busy workday. I meet new people all of the time. Great place for a pre/post first date. Great gathering spot. Did I mention this is not only a lounge but the largest supplier of hookah and tobacco needs? I have met vendors who travel from out of state to pick up their supplies from Addi's. Don't meet me there, beat me there. read more

This is a cool little hole in the wall. If you're feeling adventurous, don't hesitate to try it out. There isn't much of a sign, but you'll see it on the corner of the shopping center. The parking is a bit difficult, but we managed. The place is small and cozy - we sat outside and loved it. I took a peek inside, which had elaborate furniture and curtains throughout, and also looked comfortable. The girls working were very nice, although we had to get up and ask for more coals. The only other things on the menu, aside from hookah, are juices in a can so, if you're hungry, eat before. I've been looking for a place to smoke hookah for a while as I had been missing it from my travels abroad, and all other places are either clubs or pricy restaurants that expect you to order drinks or food. My fiancé decided to try place out as it seemed like a chill hookah spot and it was ALOT better than expected ! Even though it may not seem like it from the outside look of it but it's a clean and chill spot. They play GREAT music and it's good hookah. It's good for an intimate date or a large group. DIRTIEST HOOKAH SPOT IN ATLANTA! My Sister and I like to come here occasionally for a relaxed vibe and just to get away from the normal club scene. That is until our last visit. When we walked in, everything we failed to notice before was prevalent that night. As you walk in, there are hookah parts everywhere for sale. You look down and notice that the rug is stained. Then you are taken to the back where it is dark and red lit. We noticed a dirty stench. I believe if the lights were not red, no one would return here. We took pictures with the flash on and noticed that the walls are beyond dirty and gross. Splats of only god knows what everywhere. (See attached pics) The couches and pillows are stained as well. The outlets were uncovered. I think all lounges should invest in some kind of routine janitorial services. This lounge has obviously never been cleaned and we will never return here. read more

I recently stumbled across this hookah spot & I have to admit it may be a new favorite for me. The spot itself is super small. I can't imagine it being over 1000sq ft. But it was still comfortable and cozy. The hookah was amazing. I don't know if it was the brand of tobacco they use but the flavor was exactly what you order. Sometimes you order pineapple and can't tell what it is. With them you knew exactly what it was and I applaud that. I don't believe the serve any food and have minimal drinks. Not even sure they serve alcoholic beverages but I don't care. I'll be back for the hookah. Parking lot is small but the only businesses are closed at night so parking is not an issue from what I could see. read more

Addis was recommended to me by a friend for some low-key hookah. It is pretty hidden away so make sure you drive down the street slowly or you'll miss it! It's a hole-in-the wall place that is pretty cool! Tip: it is BYOF (bring your own food) so if you're the type that needs to eat and smoke, bring your own! I brought El Rey tacos and it was great! They have a small outside setting (read 2 tables) and a larger inside that is draped with fabric. If I come back, I would want to sit inside because I feel like the atmosphere would be nicer. They have a pretty big list of flavors. We got 2 hookahs for 3 people and it was very cheap so that was a plus! I liked it overall but I've also been to swankier places. It's a great place to chill with friends, but if you are looking for a bit more upscale it might not be for you. read more

I have been going to Addis for over 7 years so I should have been wrote this review. Never have I went and had a horrible hookah. They've always smoked great and kept a great flavor. I always tell the girls to mix me whatever and it's always tasty. They also do private parties etc. i gave my husband a all white party in our home and let me tell you, Addis was the talk of the party. I hired other vendors but all people talked about after was the HOOKAHS. No one could get enough of their service and how good the hookah were. Even people that did not smoke, started that night. Do yourself a favor and try them out. Smoke inside or outside if the weather calls for. And you can thank me later. You won't be disappointed. P.S. I have never been and the bathroom were dirty. Matter of fact they always keep 2 cans of air fresher in there. And the girls are always attentive. When I first walked into Addis Hookah Lounge a rat quickly rushed at the door which should of been my first clue on how disgusting this place was ,but sadly I didn't leave because I had a group of friends on their way to this lounge so I stayed. As I continued inside to find a seat I walked past what seemed to be the "kitchen" that looked unclean with hookah bowls scattered all over the floor. This was a poor representation of the entire place because the kitchen is directly at the entrance ,which is unpleasing to customers. I then passed the kitchen to sit at a couch that smelled horrendous as soon as I sat down. It seems to me that the fabric has never been washed ,so sit at your own caution. I then was finally welcomed by a server after 10 minutes of being there and she was not friendly to say the least. I then ordered and waited another 20 minutes to receive my hookah. When my friends came we all ordered alcoholic drinks ,which we regretted because the shots that were given to us tasted watered down. Also, when it came to pay the bill I noticed the server overcharged me. Overall,I don't recommend this place to anyone because the place is unclean and they don't have a variety of alcoholic drinks. read more
