Terry was not at all what I had imagined when I thought of someone in this profession, and that was surprisingly refreshing. She has a great sense of humor, she's originally from the East Coast, and I absolutely loved her sassy, down-to-earth, real vibe. It felt authentic. No fluff. No pretense.....Just genuine energy and insight. I've been on a spiritual awakening journey for about nine months now. I've done "past" life regression sessions and have received messages from my higher self, spirit team, and angel guides. ALSO--If you had told me a year ago that this is where I'd be, I would have laughed in your face and walked away. And yet, here I am. The one thing I was really hoping for in this session was to connect my earthbound body to my spiritual self. This was my first time trying Reiki for that purpose, and again--it exceeded my expectations. I know everyone's experiences are different, but the feedback Terry gave me afterward was extremely on point. The insights were deep, accurate, and validating in ways I didn't expect. Terry explained the whole process really well before the session started so I knew what to expect. She puts a lot of thought into making the experience the best it can be and it shows. The sound bath, massage, and reiki were amazing in combination. After the session was over she took the time to explain what was going on with my chakras. That night after the session I felt some anger come up and I felt lighter the next day. I feel like I met Terry at the perfect time! She gave me great feedback and made me feel seen. My massage therapist was older so I thought she would be more experienced. However, I think she couldn't apply much pressure as she tried her best and I would hear her joints popping.. so my massage was horrible. The manager reached out to apologize for my experience and asked if I could come back. I was hesitant at first. But I thought my first experience was pretty decent despite my second experience being bad. So I thought to give it another go. I messaged the manager, Mindy, on Yelp to schedule an appointment. I came in with my husband. Mindy said she will have Lucy work on me since Lucy is one of their best massage therapist. At first I requested medium pressure because I wasn't sure how much was medium and hard to her. Then after a minute or two, I asked her to apply more pressure. Lucy definitely knows what she's doing! She worked on my upper and lower back, going back and forth to make sure she got all the knots out. And I really needed that. She didn't work too much on my neck but that's okay, my back feels amazing!!! I'm glad I came back and got a 90 minute massage. My husband said he had a nice massage as well! The staff has consistently been kind and professional, and I have always appreciated the quality of service. Unfortunately, my most recent visit on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:45 AM was not a positive experience. I called at 10:00 AM to schedule a 90-minute couples deep tissue massage with hot stones for my husband and me, as he was treating me for my birthday. I specifically requested a shared room so we could enjoy the experience together, as we have in the past without any issues. I was told by the receptionist that they had availability and that we were welcome to arrive within the hour. We arrived at approximately 10:45 AM. While my husband's massage went very well, I did not receive the deep tissue massage we paid for. About 30 minutes into my 90-minute session, I noticed there was no firm pressure being applied. The therapist primarily used very light lotion strokes and circular motions on my back and lower back. The pressure felt like applying lotion to the skin. While the sensation was not unpleasant, it did not reflect what I specifically booked and paid for as a deep tissue massage. At one point, tiger balm was offered, which I declined; however, the pressure consistent with a deep tissue massage never began. Aside from briefly standing on my back at the beginning of the session, the treatment remained extremely light throughout. At around the 30-minute mark, I asked if I could end the session early because I was extremely unhappy with the service. I was told by my husband's therapist that I would need to continue until the session reached one hour in order to be charged appropriately. I agreed because I felt I had no other option in the moment, and I also requested that the hot stones be removed from the charge since I was no longer willing to continue the full service as originally booked. I completed the 60-minute session, but I did so unwillingly and left extremely disappointed and emotionally upset, as this was a birthday gift experience that did not meet expectations and genuinely left me hurt. The business did offer a complimentary massage once they realized how unhappy I was, which I appreciated; however, I declined, as the purpose of my visit was to share the experience with my husband, and that opportunity had already been lost. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. My intention is not to be harsh, but to clearly communicate the impact of this experience so it can be addressed appropriately in the future, especially when clients explicitly communicate that the service is not what was requested or expected.
