So I'm iffy on this place. The service is amazing and I try to go regularly. The second to last time I went I was asked to tip $20 according to their little tipping scale they have printed at the front desk. I went for a $60 (60 minute) massage, 20% of that is $12 (not including the $1 Credit Card fee they put into the customer). I argued that I would give 20% not $20. That should have been the end of it. But the lady insisted she did amazingly and I agreed, hence why I would tip 20%. She tried begging me for more at which point I just gave up and gave her nothing. Who begs for more money (tip money which isn't mandatory anywhere!) putting a customer into an awkward position? I tried once more this weekend, I did not tip on purpose because I was standing my ground that it wasn't mandatory. These folks ran after me like I had stolen merchandise and made me look horrible in front of other passerby's. I paid for my service entirely. TIPS ARE NOT MANDATORY! When I left, the place texted me the following::: Let's Relax Massage Text Message: How was your massage? Me: It was great! I just wish the tip wasn't mandatory. This was my 1st time to this place and I will definitely be back. I got a 90 minute massage and it was amazing. It was easy to communicate and he applied the perfect pressure. I came in very stiff due to work stress and a new workout split. He took his time on my neck and applied hot stones which relaxed me right away. He even gave me a foot massage. I like medium to deep pressure massages and they both do an incredible job. I also love that they include hot stones. I was offered multiple options when it came to oil vs lotion. One of the options being CBD oil which I thought was cool. Once my massage started I was asked pressure level. I chose medium, perfect for a relaxing massage but still getting out knots. Over massage was great full body including heated rocks. The price was great it was about $65 for a 70 min massage. The first time I came here, I had Eric as my masseuse and he gave me a great massage that I had to come back a second time today. I called and asked for him again but unfortunately it was his day off so I received a massage from another sweet lady name Lina and Omg she was REALLY GOOD too! She really took her time on my shoulders, which is what needed attention the most. It was my first time coming to this place and I loved every second. I had a huge knot in my left shoulder that had been pinching a nerve and numbing my left arm. Max did an AMAZING job working it out. From when I initially developed the knot a month ago, it was at a consistent 60% painful after a few chiropractor sessions. After my massage, I'm now at about 15% pain with minimal numbness. Aside from my results, the prices were reasonable, the place was very clean, my massage therapist was very thorough, professional, and receptive, and the hot stones and towels were the perfect temperature. Best last-minute decision to get a massage ever! I called just after 5 p.m. after perusing Yelp reviews and decided to ask for availability. I got set up for a 7 p.m. appointment for my wife and me for a couples massage. After getting there, we looked at the options and quickly chose the 90-minute massage with hot stones. We have frequented other spa places to which we were return customers for years, but sadly, we've had poor experiences for the last several visits. I'm glad we did because it led me to find this gem! It is only a few minutes away from our house! Skip to the massage...we were led to a room where we were given the typical undressing instructions. The room was long, so my wife and I were not side by side but head to head with ample space around. Our therapists stepped in and got to work! We both asked for deep tissue/hard, and that's what we got. Mine may have been breathing as hard as me, working the knots out of my back, shoulders, and legs. She started with compressions and went full send on the back of my neck to the base of my skull piece til I saw rainbows underneath my closed eyeballs. Tiny little thing she was, but she was mighty. I think I even said she's strong, and she said, "I know," lol. The rocks came out, and I got a massage with those, which felt amazing! My first time, so I didn't know what to expect. Eventually, the flip and she continued on my face, chest, shoulders, arms...just the works. My wife got a great massage too, but this is mainly my review. We will be back, maybe even more frequently than our last spot, because IT'S CHEAPER!!! We had Jessie and either Winnie or Ninnie (I'm not quite sure, sorry). We did a couples' massage and it was great. Everyone was very friendly, it was clean, they asked many times throughout the massage if it was too hard, and I felt really good afterward. I will definitely be coming back. The one gripe (which is not their fault) is that I think the boba place next door was bumping some crazy bass.
