I had such a relaxing experience at Ideal Spa Massage! I paid $50 for a 45-minute massage, and it included hot stones and hot oil, which felt amazing. The massage was very relaxing and definitely worth the price. The hot stones were probably my favorite part because they made the whole experience feel even more soothing. The service was great, and I felt comfortable and taken care of throughout my appointment. The ambiance was peaceful, clean, and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind. For $50, I feel like you get a really good experience. I would definitely come back when I need another self-care day! ‍ read more

Cici has helped me so kuch over the last month. I will be coming back regularly for her help

Good massage, but afterwards they handed me a sheet demanding at least a 20% tip. I wish they showed me this before the massage.

I messaged Ideal Spa today around 6:00 p.m. for a last minute massage because I was having terrible shoulder pain, and they were able to squeeze me in at 6:40 p.m. Some reviews mentioned trouble with parking, but when I arrived, there were 3 spots available in the designated lot. It is small though, so I could see how it gets crowded later. Pros: -They take credit card -Room was clean -Designated parking lot -Was able to communicate well -Good pricing (I had a 60 minute massage for $55.00, but that included a $5.00 discount for it being my first time there) -Even though they make you pay for the massage before it starts, which is a bit unusual, you can tip afterwards, and you can tip using Venmo, which makes it easy -They used hot stones My massage itself was with Cassie, and she was great. I often get massages and struggle that they do not do enough pressure, but that was not an issue with Cassie. I explained to her before the massage began that I was experiencing significant pain in my right shoulder and would like her to spend most of the time working on that, and she did. She was able to squeeze in the rest of the body at the end and incorporated the hot stones into the massage. Pressure was great, and I felt better when I left than when I came, so I will definitely be back! Only odd things I noticed were that the sheet you put over you was folded up when I entered the room so I had to unfold it and figure out which was the long way and put it over me all while half naked lol. Also, I am fine with scalp and face massage, but I know some people who prefer that be skipped, so it could be a good idea for them to ask people if they want that before doing it in massages. read more

I got the couples massage deal on Groupon. I called the number to book a massage later in the same day (it was a Friday). They said they can match prices on Groupon in person if paid in cash. Good to know. I got there, gave them my Groupon voucher and it took a good ten minutes for them to finally see us. They said they had to confirm the voucher, understandable. They were still iffy of my voucher, told me they will contact me in a few days if it does not go through. I literally bought the voucher the same day. They took us to the back, the rooms were small, the walls were paper thin; you can hear everything that's going on so we couldn't fully relax with the massage. Other than that the masseuse were great and the hot stone was nice. I don't think I will be coming here in the future. Very limited parking, they share the lot with multiple businesses. read more

Lilly was amazing! She focused on my tight spots and massages my stress away! Great job and will be back for sure!!

I have been coming here for about two years now. They all take such good care of you. Last night I came again and let my lady know I have been having major shoulder and back pain -- She really took her time massaging through my spine, back, and shoulders to find tension and knots and she really put in so much love and work into giving my body exactly what it needed!! The Hot Stones feel amazing as well. Parking is VERY limited. But I do recommend coming here for your self-care and relaxation needs! read more

I had an amazing experience here today! My massage therapist was CiCi and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

This was one of the best massages I've ever had. Bought a Groupon for a couples massage, super easy to schedule. The room was pretty small but the masseuses made it work. Looks like a small hole in the wall but the massage itself was fantastic. My masseuse was using techniques I've never had before. She targeted the knots and had perfect pressure. I was so sore coming in and felt so much better and relaxed leaving. The tables and face rest are extremely comfortable as well. I loved how they massaged my whole body as well and took there time on the spots we needed most. Absolutely amazing and relaxing massage I can't wait to come back. read more

A wonderful and relaxing experience for me and my significant other. We both loved the hot stones a whole bunch

The massage itself was okay, but unfortunately the overall experience left me feeling uncomfortable. At the end of the massage, the therapist repeatedly pressured me to leave a tip. I had already planned on tipping, but when I said I would take care of it when I got home, she continued insisting and even mentioned that she was "tired" as a reason why I should tip her. I have been to many massage establishments and nail salons, and I have never experienced a staff member demanding a tip in this manner. Tips should be voluntary and based on the customer's experience, not something a customer feels pressured or intimidated into giving. I also found it unusual that payment was required before the service was provided. I understand that businesses may have different policies, but because I have never experienced this at other massage establishments, it made me question why this was handled this way and whether I was being treated differently. The massage itself also felt somewhat rushed. In addition, while my mom was still undressing, another masseuse entered the room to bring water even after I specifically said, "Not yet, please." That was uncomfortable and felt like a lack of respect for her privacy. I did ultimately leave a tip, but the pressure surrounding it made the entire experience uncomfortable. I would strongly encourage management to address this with the staff so future customers do not feel pressured or intimidated into tipping and so customers' privacy and boundaries are respected. Unfortunately, because of these issues, I probably will not be returning. read more

Worst massage I've ever received. It's something myself or my partner could have done and recreated ourselves because it was that easy/ simple. Bought a couples massage on Groupon. I was iffy about this place from the moment I called to book an appointment. The man who answered the phone barely spoke English so communication was difficult. Day of massage, lady at the front also spoke very little English so checking in was a challenge because she couldn't understand that we were there because we had purchased a Groupon until I just eventually showed it to her. I've received massages before and usually they'll give you a paper to fill out on what areas you want to focus on or ask but that didn't happen. Not only that but I'm used to aromatherapy being an automatic thing in most massage rooms but that was not the case here. Everybody there barely spoke/ understood English therefore communicating with them was impossible. My boyfriend tried to mention our problematic areas but they didn't understand. I was just waiting for the massage to be over with because it wasn't relaxing. The room for a couples massage is not big enough for 4 people. The other masseuse who was working on my boyfriend kept bumping into me/ my table. The other workers in the building were loud so we could hear them talking during our massage. Once we finished and were ready to head out, they demanded a tip. I wasn't going to tip on a service I didn't enjoy but we felt forced to do so. Never going to this place again. read more

I know them through Groupon and they were so close to me. The staff are amazing and they are open late. Highly recommend this place. read more

I walked out during my massage. I've never done that before. The person giving the massage was visibly sick and was sneezing and sniffling. This made me feel on edge and unsafe. I also couldn't relax and was constantly distracted and could hear conversations in the hall and next to me and it sounded like furniture was being moved. Worst experience I've ever had at a massage place. read more

I just had the best Massage of my life! My husband bought me a 60 minute Full body massage with hot stone and oil, it was $60. Amazing price! The lady who gave me a massage was Lily, she was super sweet, and asked every 20 minutes if I was okay, she knew where to go gentle and where to go rough! I absolutely loved my experience! read more

I am writing to share feedback regarding my most recent massage appointment at your location. My first visit was a great experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, my second visit--this time with a different massage therapist--did not meet my expectations. I scheduled a one-hour full body massage, but the service provided did not reflect that. The session ended approximately five minutes early, and several muscle groups were either minimally addressed or not worked on at all. When certain areas were massaged, it was often for only one to two minutes. A significant portion of the session--roughly one-third--was spent repeatedly working the same spot on my upper back, while other areas were largely neglected. Additionally, there were periods totaling several minutes where no massage was being performed. The massage itself felt rough and jerky rather than smooth and relaxing. I was repositioned abruptly throughout the session, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. Aside from asking about pressure level, there was little to no communication or intake prior to or during the massage. Overall, the experience felt rushed and inconsistent with the quality I expected based on my first visit. Because of this, I do not plan to return to this location read more

My experience was amazing. My wife and I did a couple massage and we loved it. I have to say the service is the best in this area. The salon is super clean, smells really good and very relaxing. We'll be back next month and bring more friends. read more

I booked a couples massage today and the experience was weird. At first everything was normal but then I felt like the lady was just showing off my body to the guy massager I kept hearing them talk and felt him staring when the lady was massaging my leg/butt area. Then this is when I felt uncomfortable she told me to turn around and I did but I kept my eyes open and the lady didn't know I had my eyes open and she exposed my boob and told the guy to look and he looked. She then saw me see them and she quickly covered me and he told her to put a towel in my face. Will never go back read more

Wonderful massage today by Cassie! She was very thorough and hit all my painful areas. Would definitely recommend Cassie for next massage!

We came here on our five-year anniversary for a couples massage that we purchased off Groupon. The price was an amazing deal for a 60 minute massage for two people. They had lots of flexibility with the dates and time that we selected and we were able to book no problem. The room was a little small but they made it work. It was two ladies that massaged us and they did an amazing job (unfortunately I don't remember their names), they always checked in to see how the pressure was and how we were feeling. But they do not speak English super well so at one point when we needed to communicate, we had to pull out Google translate. They did a full body massage, and also used hot stones which felt really nice. I wish in the room they had a diffuser or something for some aromatherapy but just a personal preference/ suggestion. Overall was a great experience, I would definitely return if I lived in the area! read more

Cassie did such a great job. I asked for hard pressure and she delivered. I felt so relaxed the whole time. Thank you!

My husband and I got a couples massage here. They were so kind, it was clean and the massages were great! Highly recommend

I've been to many different massage establishments and I've never left thinking to myself, that was a fantastic massage. Most were average to just above average UNTIL NOW !!! I had a 90 minute massage by Cassie. I came across this place off of yelp reviews. They were pretty accurate. Just lucky Cassie was my masseuse. She knew how to put the proper pressure to manipulate the knots and sore muscles from my neck down to my calves perfectly. I highly recommend her you won't be disappointed. read more

Ideal spa massage is tucked in a small shopping center off El Cajon Blvd college area. The interior was clean and the staff were so nice!! I don't condone anyone purposely doing this, but I accidentally redeemed a group that was valid m-th, on a Sunday They first offered me a gift cert to redeem the message appropriately, and I wasn't upset at all, I was actually not going home until I got a massage and had told them not to worry I would pay for this one and come back. They came back and told me not to worry they would indeed honor my Groupon I'm so thankful because I REALLY needed the massage, and Kiki did NOT disappoint. She really worked out all my tight knots and even stretched my legs and arms really well. I feel sore the day after but In a good way. I feel like I've released a ton of toxins and know that in a few days i will feel even better. I highly recommend Kiki, she may be small but she is mighty!! She is also very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I hope to be back soon read more

My partner and I got a couples massage from Cassie and Erica this evening. This was my partner's first professional massage and in his words, "I'm feeling very noodly." This is definitely a compliment. Erica was his massage therapist and she was very strong and able to give him the deep tissue work he was craving. Cassie worked on me and I also prefer deep pressure and she delivered. The face massage towards the end of treatment was surprisingly one of my favorite parts. And I feel like I could go back and just have my scalp and face massaged by Cassie for a whole hour. We are both feeling very relaxed and are already talking about our next massage at Ideal Spa Massage with Cassie and Erica. read more

Great massage and very nice people. Highly recommend this place for a good massage. Classic massage.

I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage and this place really delivered. I think husband and I will make this a routine stop when we are feeling a little knotty. Pros: Easy scheduling (I called and got an appt same day) Heated massage bed (made such a big difference!) Use of multiple hot stones (I've never had more than 2 stones used before here but it feels sooo good) Massage Therapist was extremely knowledgeable (able to focus on my problem spots without my instruction) No one hassled for tip (a common issue with many Asian massage parlors even though I always tip anyways) Fuji bottle water (I normally get handed a small cup of water at other places) Con: I can't think of a single one other than it's a little far from my home (UTC) but totally worth the drive! read more
