Worst massage I've ever received. It's something myself or my partner could have done and recreated ourselves because it was that easy/ simple. Bought a couples massage on Groupon. I was iffy about this place from the moment I called to book an appointment. The man who answered the phone barely spoke English so communication was difficult. Day of massage, lady at the front also spoke very little English so checking in was a challenge because she couldn't understand that we were there because we had purchased a Groupon until I just eventually showed it to her. I've received massages before and usually they'll give you a paper to fill out on what areas you want to focus on or ask but that didn't happen. Not only that but I'm used to aromatherapy being an automatic thing in most massage rooms but that was not the case here. Everybody there barely spoke/ understood English therefore communicating with them was impossible. My boyfriend tried to mention our problematic areas but they didn't understand. I was just waiting for the massage to be over with because it wasn't relaxing. The room for a couples massage is not big enough for 4 people. The other masseuse who was working on my boyfriend kept bumping into me/ my table. The other workers in the building were loud so we could hear them talking during our massage. Once we finished and were ready to head out, they demanded a tip. I wasn't going to tip on a service I didn't enjoy but we felt forced to do so. Never going to this place again. read more

I messaged Ideal Spa today around 6:00 p.m. for a last minute massage because I was having terrible shoulder pain, and they were able to squeeze me in at 6:40 p.m. Some reviews mentioned trouble with parking, but when I arrived, there were 3 spots available in the designated lot. It is small though, so I could see how it gets crowded later. Pros: -They take credit card -Room was clean -Designated parking lot -Was able to communicate well -Good pricing (I had a 60 minute massage for $55.00, but that included a $5.00 discount for it being my first time there) -Even though they make you pay for the massage before it starts, which is a bit unusual, you can tip afterwards, and you can tip using Venmo, which makes it easy -They used hot stones My massage itself was with Cassie, and she was great. I often get massages and struggle that they do not do enough pressure, but that was not an issue with Cassie. I explained to her before the massage began that I was experiencing significant pain in my right shoulder and would like her to spend most of the time working on that, and she did. She was able to squeeze in the rest of the body at the end and incorporated the hot stones into the massage. Pressure was great, and I felt better when I left than when I came, so I will definitely be back! Only odd things I noticed were that the sheet you put over you was folded up when I entered the room so I had to unfold it and figure out which was the long way and put it over me all while half naked lol. Also, I am fine with scalp and face massage, but I know some people who prefer that be skipped, so it could be a good idea for them to ask people if they want that before doing it in massages. read more

Good to know. I got there, gave them my Groupon voucher and it took a good ten minutes for them to finally see us. They said they had to confirm the voucher, understandable. They were still iffy of my voucher, told me they will contact me in a few days if it does not go through. I literally bought the voucher the same day. They took us to the back, the rooms were small, the walls were paper thin; you can hear everything that's going on so we couldn't fully relax with the massage. Last night I came again and let my lady know I have been having major shoulder and back pain -- She really took her time massaging through my spine, back, and shoulders to find tension and knots and she really put in so much love and work into giving my body exactly what it needed!! I am writing to share feedback regarding my most recent massage appointment at your location. My first visit was a great experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, my second visit--this time with a different massage therapist--did not meet my expectations. I scheduled a one-hour full body massage, but the service provided did not reflect that. The session ended approximately five minutes early, and several muscle groups were either minimally addressed or not worked on at all. When certain areas were massaged, it was often for only one to two minutes. A significant portion of the session--roughly one-third--was spent repeatedly working the same spot on my upper back, while other areas were largely neglected. Additionally, there were periods totaling several minutes where no massage was being performed. The massage itself felt rough and jerky rather than smooth and relaxing. I was repositioned abruptly throughout the session, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. Aside from asking about pressure level, there was little to no communication or intake prior to or during the massage. They had lots of flexibility with the dates and time that we selected and we were able to book no problem. The room was a little small but they made it work. It was two ladies that massaged us and they did an amazing job (unfortunately I don't remember their names), they always checked in to see how the pressure was and how we were feeling. But they do not speak English super well so at one point when we needed to communicate, we had to pull out Google translate. They did a full body massage, and also used hot stones which felt really nice. I wish in the room they had a diffuser or something for some aromatherapy but just a personal preference/ suggestion. I don't condone anyone purposely doing this, but I accidentally redeemed a group that was valid m-th, on a Sunday They first offered me a gift cert to redeem the message appropriately, and I wasn't upset at all, I was actually not going home until I got a massage and had told them not to worry I would pay for this one and come back. They came back and told me not to worry they would indeed honor my Groupon I'm so thankful because I REALLY needed the massage, and Kiki did NOT disappoint. She really worked out all my tight knots and even stretched my legs and arms really well. I feel sore the day after but In a good way. My husband and I got a couples massage. They never had us fill out any paperwork or asked us anything, just had us get into the room and undress. The massage begins and still no questions about what we prefer. My husband was asked by his masseuse what level he wanted, medium or hard, but my guy just jumped into it. Our massages were done similar but not the same. My masseuse gave me a very uneven massage, not doing what he did on one side evenly to the other. This wasn't a one time thing, but happened several times throughout the entire massage. My husband's massage was at least even, but he didn't enjoy how hard she massaged on his arms and legs where he has a lot of hair and there was a lot of friction and hair pulling. The most frustrating part of our experience was that they were both texting throughout the entire massage!!! Not only that, but his phone sound was turned on loud. So imagine the entire time, his phone is buzzing and dinging every time he sent and received a text!! I could tell every time he was about to send a text because he would spend way too much time on one spot, ease up on the massage, or just completely stop, and then I'd hear the text send-off sound. They then asked for a tip at the front desk. I was absolutely appalled. Also, the walls were also so thin that I could hear everything being said in the room next to us.
