The massage was very relaxing and definitely worth the price. The hot stones were probably my favorite part because they made the whole experience feel even more soothing. The service was great, and I felt comfortable and taken care of throughout my appointment. The ambiance was peaceful, clean, and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind. For $50, I feel like you get a really good experience. I would definitely come back when I need another self-care day! ‍

I booked a 30 minute massage, then upgraded to 60!…read more This is the best spa I've been to in San Diego so far. I saw the prices and figured it was just decent quality, but I was eating next-door so I went in. I've done a lot of bodywork, from physical therapy to deep tissue and sports medicine. I haven't ever walked out of a place in an hour feeling like someone really understood what my body needed.

I went in for a 30 min upper body massage to address a stiff shoulder I woke up with this morning. I have a huge history of neck/cervical spine issues, so it's nothing new for me to have an "episode" like this and I thought I knew exactly what kind of massage I was going to get. I was wrong - Carly hit spots that nobody has ever addressed before and educated me the entire time on what she was doing/how I could do the same thing on my own. She is so kind and SO GOOD at what she does. I feel completely different after just a 30 min session. This is definitely my new go-to spot, and I already can't wait to go back!

It's difficult to write a negative review. Here was my experience with BodyRevive…read more I was looking to find a couples massage class where my wife & I could learn effective massage techniques for use at home. When I found exactly that on the BodyRevive website, I sent a request for info through the website. I didn't hear anything for a few days, so I decided to call during business hours. The first time I called, I spoke with Phyllis who told me all about the couples massage class. I requested an appointment date & time and she said she would get back to me to let me know if that would work. After a few more days, no call back. I then called and left voice messages 3 or 4 more times over the course of 2 weeks. In my last voice message, I even quoted her outgoing voice message back to her where she says that voice messages will be returned within 24 hours. My messages were kind & forgiving, even asking if there was a conflict with the date I had chosen or if she had some kind of situation come up where she couldn't accommodate. Unfortunately, none of my messages were returned. I'm left with nothing but a mystery. It would be my great pleasure to remove this review if Phyllis would just reply and try to make things right with me. She has such great reviews from everyone else; I would like to join in their chorus! For now, I'm giving BodyRevive a 2 because they have a great website, offer great services, have many enthusiastic 5-star reviews, and Phyllis was very professional to speak with on the phone. Beyond that, I'm very disappointed. -CP

Phyllis is a great masseuse, very professional and she really knows her stuff. I first met Phyllis…read moreas my masseuse at a high end La Jolla sports club where I paid over $100 for a 50-minute massage. Discovering Phyllis only works there part time I did a little investigative work (a la Google) and found she has her own practice. Woo hoo! I'm so glad I found her, and my wallet thanks her for her affordable pricing! She even offers a discount if you have insurance. I've had massages at all kinds of places, from small studios to high-end resort spas, and sometimes I don't know what I really paid for. Phyllis is definitely one of the best (if not the best) masseuse I've ever had! On top of that, she offers massage at very reasonable prices ($65 an hour). Right now, she is even offering a deal so you get 5 massages for the price of 4! One of the things I really like is that Phyllis always gives you a full hour (or more!) - your time starts when you're on the table. She gives you the 4-star resort treatment using aromatherapy oils, massage lotion, warm towels and the like. She'll even heat the massage table which I appreciate. You'll feel like you're on vacation! She also offers you tea or water and organic fruit after the massage and asks for feedback or constructive criticism. Who does that these days? While her massages are a deal you definitely don't get jipped on the service! When I just want a good massage and don't need the extra amenities that you pay for at a resort spa, Body Revive Wellness is perfect! You can afford to treat yourself to a quality massage more often at these prices.

It texted her off her Yelp page and within a few days she responded, I text her back and I was all set. I arrived at her shop where I was taken to a very nice quiet room and we discussed my condition and I left the rest up to Veronica. From the minute she touched me I felt her energy , her hands, warm almost radiating heat and soft. She literally went thru every muscle , tendon , knee , elbow , feet head stomach , neck chest and face. I've never experienced a true head to toe professional massage. She and I communicated in two languages without a problem and the 90 minute appointment went by so so fast. When complete we booked another appointment and I really look forward to having her as my personal massage therapist. The location was very easy to find and there is parking in the back. Excellent 5 star massage ! Thank you Veronica!
