Came here based on other reviews and so glad I did. They may be petite, but don't underestimate their strength and ability! This was one of the best massages I've had. I recently went here for a massage and I had a positive experience overall. I will admit I was skeptical upon arriving being that the spa is randomly placed between a 7/11 and Papa John's. It is a modest spa, no frills or super luxurious feel. Aside from the looks I was satisfied with my 60 minute massage with hot stones. I am always a bit nervous trying a new spa, I feel like it is very dependent on who you get. My massage therapist was great. She gave me just the right amount of pressure and was so nice. I've been having tension headaches and migraines almost daily this past week. I went to Mesa Spa Massage based on great reviews. It does look a bit sketchy from outside but don't let that stop you from trying this place. I had Jeanie - she said she speaks limited English but she did ask my preference as to how deep of a massage I wanted. She was very good - I don't know how a small woman can apply so much pressure. The room was clean and had relaxing music. Didn't have any incense or diffuser, which I liked because I don't always enjoy the scent other people choose. There was at least one parking spot dedicated to Mesa Spa. There's also a 7-Eleven next door so there's ample parking. Another reviewer complained about "signs everywhere" about tips but that's not true! I only noticed one sign at the front desk, which is fair because the Groupon deal I got was under $60 for a 60 minute massage. You really need to tip them well for their business to be sustainable. I did not feel pressured or put off by the sign, it only made sense. I will definitely return for more massage sessions. Highly recommended. read more

Booked a group of girls here for massages. SERVICE - They were very accommodating and got all six of us in at the same time. The staff were very friendly. AMBIANCE - I will adjust that I was skeptical the second we drove up. The windows were covered. You could not see inside. Definitely turned you away. When you walked in though, it was a little better with a slightly more welcoming atmosphere. MASSAGE - I am not sure who I had but it was a male. I always request the strongest hands for deep tissues to get out my knots. He did a fairly decent job. I remembered I went to Mesa Spa before a few times and got Outstanding massages and even wrote a Yelp review about one. So I went straight from the other massage place to this one and got right in with no appointment at 2: 00pm. 8/21/2022 I had purchase a 90 min Thai massage and my first 50 mins into the massage were not pleasant with the first masseuse name Grace. She appears to be an inexperience massage therapist instead of massaging it was more like she was caressing me to make matters worse. She goes out the room enters back with hot rocks. Instead of applying the rocks carefully she just puts the rocks on my back and I screamed. IT BURNS!!! MY BACK HURTS!!! I immediately to stop the massage!! A gentleman enters the room and states that he's there to do the massage and I said "no" I'm not comfortable with a male masseuse. he steps out contacts the owner as I walked out; he asked me to speak to the owner on the phone. which she was very nice and appeared concerned. I mentioned to her that my back was burned and I was not happy at all. She felt bad and wanted to compensate me with a second masseuse to do a massage. Ediths, what's more experience therefore I tipped her $20 because she tried to make up for the first ladies mistake. However, I will never again go to this place and I'm not going to recommend it to anyone. I have scheduled an appointment on my portal to see the doctor and make sure there's no substantial scars to my skin.
