While the masseuse was courteous and welcoming, the session primarily consisted of light rubbing and lot's of head scratching, which left me feeling unsatisfied, as I had anticipated a more traditional massage experience. Additionally, the therapist was the only staff member present and had to step away during my session to greet incoming customers. While I appreciate the challenges of being short-staffed, these interruptions made it difficult to relax and communicate effectively. There is also a $3 convenience fee for card payments. read more

Cindy was a sweetheart and kept asking for input to ensure she knew my tolerance & needs. I started at strong, but toned down to medium after 10mins because she is strong! This was one of the best massages I've had in maybe 1.5yrs. And no complaints about my tip (a rare occasion!). I came across a deal on Groupon and seeing the reviews I proceeded with the purchase. Upon booking the person whom I spoke with (Lulu) mentioned due to new ownership the Groupon is not accepted. (There was a language barrier) However she said their having a great deal for $15/hr (cash only) I then repeated $15 for one hour? She said yes. So she told me to make an appointment but didn't even ask for my info , which I thought was strange . But for that price that she mentioned I thought why not. When I entered the massage parlor it looked very well maintained which was a plus. The masseuse took me into the room and told me I need to pay now. Mind you service hasn't even started. I gave her payment and she said no it's not enough. She then got on her phone and called her Boss. The boss said no $15 it's 50. I was then annoyed at this point since her English was very hard to understand and me going back and forth explaining when I called she gave me a different price. Long story short I did not have that amount of cash . I told her I will have my husband drop it off after my service. She said no they can't start unless I pay. I was ready to leave and she said okay I'll take credit card (which she said prior -Cash only) Overall my massage was pleasant but customer service wasn't great. Massage was meh. Unprofessional that I was on my face for the entire hour, walked out very dizzy from this! I legitimately do not think she was licensed at all. This place is legit! I usually go to another massage place, but I didn't want to drive out all the way. So I was looking on yelp for a closer place and I noticed there was a new massage shop nearby. There were only two reviews but the reviews were decent. I decided to give it a try on a Sunday afternoon. I usually don't do long massages on my first day so I signed up for a an hour massage. But 510 minutes into the massage. I knew this was the best massage. I was going to find it in this county. So one hour turned into a 90 minute massage and now I'm driving home with a straight back that doesn't hurt. I highly recommend this place! read more

This place just opened in La Mesa so this is so convenient and close by and I just went for the first time and it was lovely. Lily was my masseuse and she did a great job and was very attentive and really worked my sore muscles in my neck and back and I loved that she massaged my face and scalp as well bc other places don't do that or just skip it. They have very reasonable prices as well and actually give you a full hour. I like supporting this smaller places rather than the big spas that over charge you so give this place a try. Do not go here. I had an appointment and was asked to leave (I believe) in a language that I could not understand and come back in 25 minutes ( I think). I called the business and a gentleman answered the phone and apologized and rescheduled for an hour later. I showed up and the massage therapist told me to come back in 30 minutes (I think). Each time there seemed to be a client in a separate room as the massage therapist walked out of the room and closed the door behind her each time I came into the waiting room. I left the business again and called the business and the gentleman offered me a discount which at this point I refused. The reason I called was to ask the owner what type of business is he running and that I will not support a business that treats their clients in this manner.
