I cannot recommend Gwen enough! After going through some significant health trauma, I found myself feeling stuck, disconnected, and struggling to trust my body again. I felt like I had lost a part of myself and couldn't find my way back. I've been seeing Gwen for massage for a few years and after talking with her about hypnotherapy I decided to give it a try. From the moment we started the hypnotherapy session I felt completely safe and supported with her! She has this special ability to make my subconscious feel comfortable and at ease. I felt more relaxed than I have in a very long time and after 1 hypnotherapy session I have noticed a shift. It felt like my light was starting to come back. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful and more connected to myself and my body's ability to heal! Gwen has a truly special gift! Her compassionate presence, professionalism, magic touch, and ability to create such a safe space makes all the difference! If you're feeling stuck or looking to reconnect with yourself, I highly recommend working with Gwen! read more

Gwen is the ultimate master of her craft. A true professional who always takes great care and pride on her techniques while continuing to expand her knowledge on new concepts as well. She had recommended I try a new type of treatment in addition to my usual massage that's specifically designed to release tension in my jaw, neck and face called buccal / intraoral massage. After receiving, my face felt so much lighter, tension was released and my sleep vastly improved. Such a great experience that I couldn't recommend enough! read more

I've had my share of massages. Mostly at expensive spas because my wife insists on doing couples massages. I do it because I love her (my wife). But I go to REST Wellness on my own accord. Gwen is absolutely amazing! No other massage even compares! I'm 6'2" and 280lbs and by the time she's done, I feel completely relaxed and loose. She DEFINITELY knows what she's doing. Highly recommend! read more

I have had many massages to try and get some relief from the tension I hold in my neck and shoulders. Not one has compared to the relief I have felt getting a massage from Gwen. She certainly cares about her clients and targets the areas in need by taking the time to ask questions and concerns. She is always on time and makes sure to give her clients the full amount of time allotted. She is kind, welcoming, and well educated in massage therapy. I highly suggest going to Gwen for an amazing massage that is not only well priced, but therapeutic. I have been seeing Gwen for over a year now and she has completely changed how I view getting a massage. I primarily sought out massage for relaxation not knowing the therapeutic benefits that could be had. Gwen offers a new experience every time I see her and I am always blown away. She has great intuition and knowledge of anatomy and I feel better and better with every visit. Recently I had experienced a flare up of my Rheumatoid Arthritis. She knew exactly what oils to use and gently massaged my fingers, I woke up the following morning and for the first time in a month my fingers were not swollen or sore! She truly has magic hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a relaxing or a therapeutic massage. Thank you Gwen!!! read more

I've been getting massages for over 32 years. Gwen is far and away the best therapist I've ever had. After an extremely stressful week, I saw her for the first time yesterday and within a few minutes my stress was released. Gwen listened to me, and inquired about my needs prior to the massage and with her healing hands, massage oils and aromatherapy, I felt heavenly. Treat yourself! This world is stressful but she makes it better! read more

I have been receiving massages from Gwen for the last 2 years or so. To paint the picture, I started going to Gwen right after my company asked us to return to the office. After a few COVID years, returning to the office was causing me pain (mostly physical but also some emotional pain too - haha). I started to suffer from terrible neck aches due to going back into the office. These neck aches resulted in headaches at times and it was insufferable. I went to a Chiropractor to see if that might help, but no luck. I had received massages in the past, mostly form cheap Thai or Chinese massager parlors, but I'd never had a therapeutic massage. I booked a massage with Gwen and to my surprise, I received an actual massage. Well, obviously it was a massage, but what i mean is she actually knew what she was doing, applied pressure to the right spots, and gave me a proper massage that benefited my health and wellbeing. I was hooked and have been going to see Gwen ever since. Not only will you receive a great therapeutic massage, she also listens to what you want, and tailors the experience towards your desires. There are no interruptions, which is not always the case at other massage parlors, which allows you to relax and drift off into a meditative state, if that suits you . Or, you can carry on a conversation,. Gwen is extremely approachable and great to work with. I'd recommend her 1000%. read more

Therapeutic is the key word when it comes to Gwen!! My treatment was BEYOND amazing. Gwen is exceptionally intuitive. She knew EXACTLY what my body needed, (certainly far more than I realized myself)!! The best way I can describe it is: That my massage was somehow relaxing, invigorating, and transcendental...all simultaneously. Honestly..it was like art. read more

It is always a little bit of a gamble going to see a non-corporate massage therapist, so I was happy to find this business located in an office building that was clean and quiet! Very professional atmosphere. Her room itself has lovely red drapes, really good smells, just everything you want when you're going in to relax. Gwen is a really charming gal with a gentle energy who really cares about giving you a personalized experience. I explained why I prefer to have only my upper back worked on (knots for days, sensitivity issues in my legs/feet) so she opted to stretch my legs/hips instead of massaging them. It was amazing!!! Nobody has ever done that before, it made a huge difference and felt like a great compromise for making sure my lower half didn't get totally ignored. My massage was AMAZING, specifically the work she did on my neck. I was surprised someone so slight of frame could muscle down on me with such strength! I have had many massages but this one stood out because I left feeling truly relaxed and without my everyday aches. I'll be back and will certainly recommend her to others! read more

Gwen is incredibly nice and made me feel very comfortable right away. She took the time to explain everything (this was my first prenatal massage) and checked in with me throughout the appointment to see how I was doing. Afterwards, I felt so calm, relaxed, and refreshed. Really looking forward to my next appointment! read more

I received a massage by Gwen from my husband for my birthday this year. I had an excellent experience, so much so that I will go back! I try & get massages as often as I can afford & tend to go wherever is offering a coupon or deal. Very rarely, & no time in recent memory have I had such a good experience that I would be willing to pay full price to go back to the same person; until now. My massage was relaxing & Gwen is considerate & sweet & made me feel extremely comfortable. I highly recommend her! read more

I have osteoarthritis that, with Gwen's massages and feedback on my other modalities (chiropractic and yoga) have kept the osteoarthritis at bay so I can stay active. What a fantastic find on Living Social. Gwen was able to squeeze me into a last minute appointment. I requested an all area relaxing massage, and it worked. Halfway through the massage I fell asleep. Was it that cucumber and aloe foot scrub, or the deep tissue work on my aching muscles, or the calming effects of the aromatherapy that Gwen used, or was it the customized massage on my stressed muscles, or the stretching to loosen the tightness that is making me return to Gwen? Not sure, but will be back after my trip. Gwen is passionate about her work, with over 1000 hours of training and getting her holistic health practitioner training, she is very capable of helping you with a therapeutic massage. read more

She actually followed up with a text the next day to find out how I was feeling. I recommend Gwen highly! read more
